i never leave yelp reviews but the experience was so bad i had to. appointment was at 3pm, waited in the lobby until 4:15 and still wasn't my turn. Lady at the front desk was extremely incompetent and couldn't figure out if I'm in the system. I left early because i couldnt wait any longer and had other plans. I have never posted a Yelp review before in my life but the service was so bad I am compelled to. I am entirely confident that any 5 star review on this page was planted by the office. I scheduled a dental cleaning but did not receive one. I showed up to the office, which is the filthiest healthcare office I have ever visited. In the exam room, there was a large, extremely loud TV blasting FOX news, which Dr. Bral continued to watch the entire time while examining me. The entire "cleaning" lasted two minutes. He briefly used the water/scaler tool on each tooth and then told me I was done. No polishing, no flossing, no rinsing, no flouride, nothing. I need to go to another dentist now for a real cleaning and check-up. I am filing a claim with my insurance so that this appointment does not count as one of my allotted annual cleanings. (By the way, I previously scheduled an appointment with Dr. Bral and when I called the office morning-of to confirm, I got a voicemail that the office was closed for a holiday. So this was my second attempt.) read more

This may be one of the worst dental experiences of my life. Not only is the office unsanitary, but the service is also unethical. I regret ever stepping foot in the office. He performed an implant procedure which failed and had to be removed and now he refuses to issue a refund despite the fact that all I got from his services was an infection. I am currently filing a small claim against him to recoup the funds. What a nightmare! read more

Dr. Bral offers top line service with quiet efficiency. He explains what needs to be done and why and his approach to price is reasonable. I have already recommended him to others. I appreciate that he sometimes answers his phone himself and that it is easy to get an appointment. The staff was helpful with stubbornly stupid insurance. I see that there is a negative review on Yelp, and I am sorry that anybody experienced pain. Still, I understand that not all medical or dental procedures are successful. In my case, Dr. Bral gave me good advice, and the procedures he did for me were excellent--as good as the work done by other dentists in cities where I have lived before. read more

Good dentist but as someone else reported, the scheduling is terrible. There is no point in making an appointment (tried thrice and it never worked out). Be prepared to wait for an average of two hours before you are called up. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't go here. Between my husband and I, we've been here three times. The first time was an emergency (I chipped a tooth) and the dentist was able to get me in same day, albeit with a wait but hey I couldn't complain. Facilities are old but clean. Second time, my husband and I go in for cleanings - just cleanings - and have appointments at the same time. All told, we were there for 4 hours and my husband still had to come back for another appointment. Well, he came for his appointment today... sat for two hours... and finally left without seeing the doctor. We only went here b/c our insurance works with him and I had an OK experience with my chipped tooth. We are switching dentists ASAP! read more

I found Dr. Bral on accident and if I could give him 100 stars, I would!! I live in Bergen county and it was a Sunday , it was an ice storm and just my luck I wound up with a nasty toothache. I called everyone in my area and most didn't call back , the ones who did ( even though their office was within miles from me ) told me they couldn't help and to go to the hospital. I found Dr. Bral through google and after about three hours of searching I called his number , he answered personally, I explained that I would be a new patient and I live an hour away - yet he said "call me when your in the area of JC and I will come to my office" and that he did! He made me pain free and fixed the issue / with not even knowing me! I've kept him as my dentist since then. I am just going to explain that I am what's known as a "dentists worst nightmare" I can not have something as simple as a cleaning or cavity taken care of without it leaving me in AGONY (and I mean scaling the walls , pacing back and forth , no sleeping, no eating, straight THROBBING) for about a week after being worked on. I've been this way my whole life - and just to make it a little more challenging for myself and the dentists who choose to take me on - the novicane needles don't last with me. What will last a normal person three hours - I'm lucky if it lasts me a HALF HOUR. Every single dentist I have seen simply doesn't believe me, even when they see what happens while I'm in their chair. They either ask me what drugs (YES DRUGS) in on - or they just simple lose patience all together with me- which makes me even MORE nervous to be worked on- and then I do the famous avoid it and it will go away act. So with that said, here I am - 33 and have 13 teeth left in my mouth. Two of which need to be pulled. I went to Dr Bral again last month as I was having pain from an infected tooth. He handled me and what I was facing BEAUTIFULLY. My teeth are/ were AWFUL looking making me feel VERY ugly (yet still extremely scared because what I go through after I get worked on can be worse than the actual toothache) I have dental insurance BUT because I'm so young they won't approve me to get my smile back because of the amount of work that needs to be done. Dr Bral needed to give me 4 rt canals , a fixed bridge and upper and lower partials. Firstly he gave me a price I can work with to give me a pretty smile again BUT he also works with ME, the fears - the pain - and although even he said it's crazy and not the scientific normal that I don't stay numb (and I'm sure my shaking and crying doesn't help) HE DIDNT QUIT ON ME AND HE BELIEVES ME. First dentist I have been to in THIRTY THREE YEARS who sees ME as a person and than uses that to determine what my best treatment plan is. So far he has given me four rt canals and put the posts and everything in for my fixed bridge. I have the temporary bridge in now - and although I'm throbbing again (even tho I shouldn't be) He has been MORE than patient with me. Is always available via telephone with every complaint I have ( trust me, I have a lot) he comes to the phone personally and makes himself readily available for my off the wall needs. It's so easy to feel misunderstood when I'm in that chair because things that shouldn't hurt me do , REALLY Badly - it's embarrassing - but he is always there - no matter what. He is a true God send to me. I will never forget him even after I'm done with all my dental work. He is a rare gem , and he is also very humble about it. Appointments are really easy and I've never had to wait more than ten minutes to be called in. I would recommend him to ANYONE who needs ANYTHING done in the dental field. Quite contrary to the post above, not to discredit anyone's experience, but I've had a completely different experience. I have been under Dr. Bral's care for about almost a year or so and have had my braces, several fillings, and a root canal done by him. I once had a root canal done by another specialized endodontist years prior on another tooth and went home with almost more pain than I came in with. Whereas the root canal I've had with Dr. Bral so far was almost painless, and treated right away. Compared to my last root canal, I came home today with minimal amount of pain. He made sure I was comfortable and double checked things to reassure me of the process. I am terrified of having drills in my mouth and intrusive procedures, but I can tell Dr. Bral cares about his patients! I feel at ease every time I go! Had an infection. Wait wasn't too long. After xrays Doctor prescribed antibiotics and recommended cleaning. No extraction needed. Am very happy with service provided. Highly recommended. read more

Before I met Dr. Bral, I was going to a dentist that placed a few implants for me. The implants were uncomfortable to say the least. Two got loose and one was painful from the beginning. He finally removed all implants. Then I met Dr. Bral. I found him to be very thorough. He called the previous dentist to find out the problems he encountered so he would avoid them now. He also ordered a scan of my jaw to study my jaw better. Then he said he would placed 3 implants to support a bridge I needed. At the surgery, he surprised me and said he talked to the implant company and would like to place 4 implants instead of 3 but he would not charge me any extra. I was very pleased. I was even more please at the result. Now I have 4 comfortable implants supporting the bringe. Many thanks. read more

He might be an ok dentist, but he overbooks his patients. The first time I made an appointment, I waited almost 2 hours and finally left because I didn't want to wait anymore. I made an 11 am appointment for 2 weeks later, and wasn't seen until 12:30. There were 3 other people who also had 11 am appointments, and the doctor only had one dental assistant. Because I had to leave at 12:50, he only had time to do a very rushed teeth cleaning. Despite his multiple apologies, I was very disappointed with the whole experience and will be finding a new dentist. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!.. HE IS NOT PRACTICING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS!!! He removed my silver amalgam without even using a dental suction & rubber dam, on; during and after the procedure in which I surely inhaled the vapor and swallowed particles of mercury which is a NEUROTOXIN. If you have cavities he will also insist to use that toxic amalgam and not composite - unless you will really argue with him and he will do composite but will do it improperly so it will break and you come back for more check up.
