Well, to update my experience with this place they call a dental office…read more I have changed dentist, Thank God!. Requested my dental records transferred to my new dentist office 2 weeks ago. Sherry, the receptionist insured me that she would give the info to Dr. Wenger to sign off on the transfer. I called to make sure that my records were transferred today because my new appointment is tomorrow. Spoke to Sherry again, she told me that it would take 72 hrs. to have my records transferred. NO MA'aM! I told her I called 2 weeks ago and this should have been done. She then told me I needed a letter to release my records. She then told me, after I informed her that I had a dental appointment tomorrow, that I could come in today to pick them up. No problem, I wrote the letter requesting my records. Then after I get there to pick up my records, the only thing Rose, I am assuming she is the head disaster in charge, kept repeating is "there is a $25.00 charge for your x-rays". Again, no problem. I stood at the reception desk for about 15 minutes when Sherry came back with a copy of my x-rays. Hmmmm, I then asked where was the rest of my records, treatment plan, Dr.'s notes etc. That's when Rose interjected in a rude unprofessional manner, not even looking me in the face said "the Dr. will have to sign off on the release". I told her I had phoned 2 weeks ago and that this should have been already done. Still not looking at me said "who did you speak to, I can reprimand them." I then told her that at this point a reprimand would be fruitless, seeing that "you" should have been on top of this. When all this back and forth was going on, the waiting room was full of people. A lady, who was in obvious pain was standing at the window to ask how long it would be before she would be seen and (Rose) acted like she didn't know who she was! The lady had to repeat her name 3 times after Rose kept mispronouncing it. The lady told me she had been there for 3 hours waiting to be seen. Finally, I paid the $25.00 to retrieve my x-rays and Rose obviously was annoyed and making faces. She told me "You should just have your new dentist phone in tomorrow and request your records". The office staff is clearly overwhelmed and frustrated and it shows. I am sooo glad I won't have to endure the incompetence from this office staff again! Dr. Wenger, I understand that you get paid from insurance carriers and personal ;patient care is the last thing you are concerned with but what happened to good old fashioned personal consideration and concern for your patients. Your office should be reported to the State. Your facility (converted house) is dirty and and your staff needs training on front office etiquette. BTW....I am a professional staff trainer by trade. Wow! is all I have to say as my closing statement.

After 45 minutes, I finally was called and did very uncomfortable x-ray on my teeth. After that, the dentist cleaned my teeth within 5 minutes and applied some really weird cream on my teeth that tasted and felt EWW! I would never go back again! The old reason that I went there was it opens 7 days/ week. Also some weird people chat to me in the waiting room. I tried to ignore them, but they did not get the hint.

Dr DiVincenzo is An Amazing, Gentle, and Caring Oral Surgeon!…read more I am absolutely terrified of dentists and oral surgeons, but Dr. DiVincenzo changed my experience. From the moment I met him, he was transparent, reassuring, and made me feel like I truly mattered as a patient. His kindness and professionalism immediately put me at ease. I had an extraction on Jan 27,2025 and felt no pain at all--he was incredibly gentle! That alone was impressive, but what really speaks volumes is that I trusted him enough to return the following week for two implants. That says everything about the level of care and skill he provides. Dr. DiVincenzo creates a safe, comfortable environment where you feel heard and cared for. If you're looking for an oral surgeon who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely compassionate, I cannot recommend him enough!

My trade union provides ASO Dental Insurance. On the surface, it seems like a first rate plan. It…read moreallows for $2,500 a year in dental work with a low deductible of $100. This seemingly great plan, however, falls apart upon closer scrutiny. The primary problem is that it pays dentists an incredibly low rate for services rendered, making it practically impossible for them to cover expenses, let alone make any money. Consequently, few dentists accept it. I've moved a few times in the last decade and whenever I visited a new dentist, I often ended up in a neighborhood that had seen better days, with a dentist who appeared way past his or her prime, in an office that appeared a rent payment away from going under. It was never a positive experience. Because I dreaded dragging myself to these dentists, my oral health deteriorated to the point that merely brushing my teeth would often result in gums that became a bloody mess. That all changed when I found Dr. Paramo and her office Hudson Family Dental in Jersey City. Since becoming Dr. Paramo's patient, my oral health has improved dramatically (no more bloody gums) and I actually look forward to dental visits. Getting my teeth worked on by Dr. Paramo is as easy and pleasant as it is to look at her (she's quite pretty). If you're reading this in the Hudson County area; stop reading reviews and make an appointment. You'll thank me.

Steer clear of this place if you can. My son is currently seeing Dr. Ayoub for dental appliance…read moretreatment. They double and triple book appointments so you end up waiting long periods of time. I've gone in 4 times and each time my wait was over an hour past my appointment time. The place accepts medicaid which is probably why its usually crowded and not well kept. Old plastic chairs. Not really aesthetically beautiful for an office. Once they called me to reschedule because they had booked too many appointments for a particular day. However weeks later when I called day of to change my appointment because I had an emergency come up, they told me I would be charged $50 to cancel. It didn't seem fair that they can cancel on me and have me waiting for a long time each time I come in but the second I cancel, I am charged. I didn't have a choice but to pay the $50. As far as the actual work I don't have many complaints. Dr. Ayoub is nice enough but I wished he was more thorough in explaining to me the process and answering my questions. I can tell that when you are very busy with so many patients, it can seem annoying to answer questions from patients. Still I wanted to be in the know when it comes to my sons healthcare. Because we began here, we are finishing out his treatment here but will not be returning for any future dental work. My son had a private insurance now and so we can afford to go somewhere with better service and care.

I called earlier in the day for emergency visit due to excruciating pain, the man I spoke to who I…read morethink was the doctor told me I would be going to the right place bec they specialize in gum issues/periodontist. I know it was the dr , bec when i arrived the only one there was a nice lady who took care of the front/assistant and the male doctor. The dentist was very informative but pushed on dentures /implants. I went in as emergency patient for pain in my gums . I know i need a lot of dental work thats needed to be done. But the pain wasnt really taken care of until the end of the visit when i asked him what about the pain, what can he or i do for relief? He hesitated at first to give me prescription then gave me a script for antibiotics bec I asked for a solution to solve my emergency visit . The whole time I was there the visit consisted of just talking about treatment plans and the outrageous prices. And he cannot really do anything right there and then not even a dental cleaning.,and if i need a cleaning to relieve the pain I have to make an appointment bec his hygienist wil be the one to do it and if i do the implants, it's also another person who will do some parts of it. The deep cleaning will cost me thousands and implants to about $50k.The whole time nothing was done but do a scan of my teeth, which i agreed to do thinking he can do something to releive the pain after seeing the scan right that time which cost me almost $400 added to the $145 for the emergency visit fee where it was more like just a consultation. Almost $600 out of my pocket with no solution to my pain. I also wasnt to crazy about the lay out of the dental exam area..they are only divided by "glass" partitions and no doors..you can see & hear the doctor/patient is doing & discussing ... breaking patient confidentiality/hippa . And vice versa the others can also hear and see whats going on with my visit. The patients that left before and after me ,i can tell were disappointed too leaving bec all i heard from their discussions were the high prices for procedures and they just left right after within minutes the dr talked to them . Im going to go to other dentists for second opinion. The only thing good i got out of the emergency visit was a scan of my teeth , and know what my future options may be even though I felt he kept trying to push for implants. I work for doctors and when theres an emergency the doctors try to solve the issues first either by doing a procedure or give meds to help the patient instantly...then talk about future treatment plans without it being the main focus. Why tell me im going to the right place bec they deal with gum pain when the dr couldn't do anything and if i didn't ask for meds, i would have left the office with nothing to help relieve it. The only thing I liked about the visit was the nice assistant, she made me feel less anxious being in the dentist office and the dentist was upfront what the treatments options are. Im just disappointed that he couldn't do anything to relieve the pain without me asking for meds at the end and mainly just talk about expensive treatments! Why accept emergency patients and not do anything to help relieve the pain. I should have just went to hospital ER where they would have probably given me meds to help with pain right away.

I'm sharing this painful experience not just to protect my rights, but to advocate for transparency…read moreand accountability in the dental community--for the sake of future patients. On June 3, 2025, I underwent LANAP surgery at this clinic for teeth #11 and #31, referred by Dr. Andrew Andrawis. Unfortunately, the experience left me with more harm than healing. No proper imaging was conducted prior to surgery--only two low-resolution X-rays of tooth #31 were taken on the same day. Tooth #11, which was also treated, had no imaging at all. What I did not know at the time was that the surgeon, Dr. Marina Mishriky, is Dr. Andrawis's spouse--a relationship that was never disclosed. I was not given alternative treatment options, nor was I informed about existing bone loss or the potential need for bone grafting. I paid $2,382.32 out of pocket for a surgery I was told was "less invasive" and "just as effective." Over the following weeks, my symptoms worsened--severe swelling, pain, and infection. Despite repeated phone calls between June 9 and June 23, I received no meaningful follow-up. My concerns were dismissed by staff. When I finally reached someone, I was told no doctors were available until days later. I ended up in the emergency room at 1:00 AM and received IV pain treatment. Later that morning, I was treated by another provider, Dr. Nancy Kim, who had to perform an emergency flap surgery. She documented serumal black calculus, active infection, and 5mm of bone loss--evidence that the original LANAP procedure had failed to clean the area and possibly worsened the condition. To make things worse, when I requested my records, I found inaccurate and misleading clinical notes, including false claims that I declined follow-up care. My request for corrections was denied. When I asked for transparency, I was met with condescension and dismissive responses like "we're not worried about formal complaints." This is not just about poor service. It is about violations of basic medical ethics--undisclosed relationships, lack of informed consent, neglect of follow-up care, and resistance to record correction. Patients deserve better. Dental practices like this one should be subject to greater oversight. I am still recovering physically and emotionally from this experience. I hope no other patient has to go through what I did.
