Oh my donut! We expected to grab a standard maple or pink frosted, but were blown away. Maple came in light or dark, ours was light and delish. And instead of pink frosted, we opted for chocolate frosted honey nut. A wise choice! We were too late for fritters, so we'll have to come back. read more

2 Donuts, 1 maple and 1 apple fritter = $6.50 for TWO donuts. Apple fritter was dry and tasted like it's been on the rack for weeks. I do not recommend going here prices high and flavor low, VERY low All I wanted was a donut and coffee for my drive out of town. The coffee was good, I made it myself and probably saved $5.00 the donut was thrown out the window, probably still there I believe even starving wild animals wouldn't eat that nasty thing. This spot is super good! They have excellent staff who are warm and welcoming even really early in the morning. Their fruity pebbles donut is my hands down favorite and made me feel pure nostalgia. The doughs consistency and texture was uncanny and the marshmallow glaze really did something special with the crunch of the fruity pebbles. What a delightful place to walk into! We were immediately attracted out by the big donut out from (a big sign). They had a large variety of donuts and the man behind the counter( presumably the owner) was very knowledgeable about all the types of donuts. I ended up getting a pink glazed with sprinkles- which I believe to be strawberry. It was delicious and fresh. You can tell this guy knows how to make donuts. My mom got an old fashion buttermilk with chocolate. It can be described as perfect with just the right amount of chocolate. My mom was debating the chocolate or just the regular and he ended up throwing in a regular for free- just Incase she didn't like the chocolate. If you want the most moist, happiness-filled doughnuts in Steamboat, look no further. It's a divey little doughnut shop with some chairs and tables to sit and visit at. We just stopped in for some of their doughnuts while we walked around. The owner greeted us & even threw in a few doughnuts as he was closing soon. Open from 6am-until they run out, we came just before 1pm and there were still plenty. The doughnut holes are light, moist, and wonderful. Truly the most fluffy, sweet doughnut hole I've ever had. I'll never get Dunkin again. The regular doughnuts were great too! Even the jelly & the coconut ones were amazing. They had my tried and true, rainbow sprinkled doughnut which I devoured. A light cake, good amount of sprinkles, simply wonderful. This doughnut shop is in a great spot, just off the main street. It's worth visiting if you're walking around and want a sweet snack. This a noticeable improvement over the previous ownership (milk run). Picked up half a dozen donuts, and was pleasantly surprised at how much fresher everything was than before. The previous owners did not fry the donuts fresh each morning, so I had given up and just gone to City Market as it was much cheaper. Pricing is fair for the area at $1.50 each for standard offerings. I don't expect them to be grocery store priced, but do expect high quality, which I got. I tried cookies and cream (the old staple!), Triple chocolate, old fashioned, chocolate glazed, and blueberry. The C&C is still the best. Main area for improvement is getting the cake donuts a little more moist. To quote Ahnold...I'll be back! read more
