I arrived unannounced and found her with the cutest hairdo I've ever seen. Her fingernails were painted beautifully and she had on a real cute outfit we had purchased for her some time ago. Kathy was clean and well cared for. She was happy and had a hug for all her caretakers. We grew up in P-burg and know many of the people both residents and care providers. I remember a time when there wasn't any place for the elderly and those needing assisted living. I say well done Philipsburg on taking care of your people. I've seen a few nursing homes and I only hope when my time comes I too can go to Granite County Nursing Home.

My elderly mother was discharged from the ER but was able to perform daily tasks, she probably should have been admitted to the hospital. I reached out to the hospital, to a social worker to get some help or resources regarding what we may be able to do in regards to her health and living situation but they didn't return my call. But hey, why return calls or come up with solutions to an ongoing issue when they can fleece Medicare for ambulance rides and ER visits. If you don't absolutely need to utilize this facility, I highly recommend going to Great Falls or Missoula.

A lawyer assigned to me got me out and moved to Dakota House in Missoula. When the staff there saw my injuries, they immediately called the police, who told me they believed me. Montana State Psychiatric Hospital The Montana State…read morePsychiatric Hospital is a sad and forlorn place where too many poor souls with "serious mental illnesses" (Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services) wander the halls aimlessly or lie curled up in their beds, some just waiting for death. The hospital lost its certification due to patient deaths and safety issues two years ago, and, according to the Montana Free Press, staffing issues and safety complaints appear to be unresolved. My sister, after being isolated in her room at a Missoula, Montana Assisted Care facility for three years due to COVID, finally became so depressed and lonely she tried to leave the assisted care facility on a snowbound winter day on foot. Restrained and sent to a local hospital, a nurse at the hospital got a court order to send my sister to the Montana State Hospital as "a danger to herself". The nurse did this despite a reported high incidence rate of "falls, chemical restraints and staff vacancies" at the Montana State Hospital. At the hospital, my sister, clinically depressed but not diagnosed with a serious mental illness, was frightened by her surroundings and most often refused to leave her bed. She withered away, losing approximately 40 pounds as she became increasingly despondent. Finally, our family rescued her. Although the staff at the Montana State Hospital does a valiant job in caring for residents, hospitals "for serious mental illness" should not be used as dumping grounds for individuals when local hospitals and the rest of the world do not want to invest in their proper care.

My friend has been getting ketamine treatments for chronic pain at St. James Pain Center. Her last…read moreappointment was scheduled for November25. On the 24th she was notified the appointment was cancelled because the elevator was out of service. She is an otherwise healthy and active 28-year-old, perfectly capable of taking the stairs down to the clinic. She was not offered that option, and her reschedule is over 2 weeks farther away. Because the elevator wasn't working? That is just plain stupid and inexcusable. She, and all patients, deserve a much better level of concern and care. Part of the goal and efficacy of ketamine is dependent on a regular schedule to retrain the pain source. Now she will endure her pain for that additional time and lose part of the treatment advantage. How in good practice and patient concern did this happen? Someone forget their Hippocratic Oath? I have to exercise all my will power to refrain from becoming REALLY unprofessional with these comments!

Well, the X-rays don't lie St Peters, but did you bother to do one and make sure? Nope! So I was taken here instead, to Riverwood Health. They were immediately concerned when they saw I couldn't walk any longer, and since I was laying on the floor groaning in pain, as well. I was taken back immediately and seen by a qualified doctor, who then gave me some great suggestions, did X-rays and prescribed pain medication and examined my back, which St Peter's did not even bother to do. Dr. Paula Colledge, at Riverwood was like: Omg....I have never felt a back like this! The muscles are like rocks! She was very concerned, and I was treated like a human being, whereas at St Peter's, I was not. I cannot thank this clinic enough, for taking me and my injury seriously, and doing something about it. Would this ever happen at St Peter's hospital or Clinic? Never. At least, not for me. Please, instead take your loved ones to Riverwood Health Montana, where your concerns and injuries will be taken seriously. Top quality care to be found at this clinic. Thank you again, Riverwood Health Montana!

Just another part of the horrible and very judgemental and dangerous St Peter's Hospital, where…read morethey judge you first, before any 'care' will be given, if at all. This place is just as useless as the main hospital. I was treated like something worse than worst Leper, ever. The main so called 'care giver' who caused all of my problems and misery is named Charlene Lewis. I believe she got let go at St Peter's, and most likely for incompetence, and is now at Benefis in Helena. Keep your loved ones and especially your children away from this woman. She did everything in her power to ruin my life and nearly succeeded. St Peters is well aware of what happened, but chose to do nothing as usual. Talk about lawsuit waiting to happen! Everything about this clinic and hospital is negative. The people that work there only care about getting paid. That is all they are in it for. Otherwise, they are mostly all incompetent, which is why St Peter's has the reputation that it does. All departments are run terribly and there is absolutely no accountability for any of them. People here are extremely judgemental. If you have an earring as a male, you will be judged. If you have tattoos, you will be judged. If you happen to be born LGBTQ, you are really judged and also called nasty names. By doctors and nurses!!! It has happened to me and to many others, and I have witnesses to it, so it can be proven true. Do not bother going here for anything. They will not help you and will do everything to harm you instead. It is just the way they operate at this place. Char Lewis even called me at home one time, and screamed obscenities at me over the phone. I recorded it. St Peter's is well aware of what she did but chose to do nothing but let her go, I guess. I certainly got no apology for all the damage and worse that she and St Peters Hospital caused me and too many others. The reviews speak for themselves. This is absolutely the worst hospital and clinic in the USA. Be very careful if you go there or if you go to Benefis instead, be wary of getting Charlene Lewis for a 'care giver'.
