Please keep in mind that this review will be about these classes. I think it's incredibly generous to offer this trial as it allows you to check out several types of dance styles and instructors. They have an app, which I found to be really easy to use. They clearly label which classes are part of the trial and provide confirmation and reminders. The schedule accommodated work schedules and if weekdays were too tight, they had classes on weekends as well. They have 3 studio rooms and they had a person checking people in which could let you know where the class you were taking would be. One studio was large and the other two were about half the size. Each has its own bathroom which was nice. I tried a few Bollywood classes, Latin dance, a barre class and a Tahitian class. While the Bollywood cardio and Latin classes were the most popular, the instructors were all very patient and energetic. The Bollywood cardio class wasn't geared to really teach moves but more for you to follow along as best as you can and hope you get it before the next move. My personal goal is to stay on beat and try to get 60-80% of any class I take which I was easily able to for the classes. There is plenty of parking and the rooms are clean. When I have some discretionary income I'll definitely come back to buy a package so I can keep shaking my groove thang.

When contacted requesting the money back since THEY canceled the class, they cited their "no refund" statement not considering this should only be applied in case the client changes their mind. They offered a different date and credit only, I have no interest in nor I can attend and said they're voiding my payment (not refunding and keeping it) as I have no interest in doing business with this type of professional anymore. Just be aware if the class is canceled by them, you are not hearing from them, much less ever seeing your money. It's not the amount: it's the principle. Unprofessional, inappropriate and simply wrong.

While there are likely people here training to dance professionally, there are also people who are just here for fun. But, I like that the classes are at a level that create a challenge and keep your brain moving as you move through the choreo. I hate a boring class and this wasn't the least bit boring at all. The class moved quickly! The vibe was good and it feels like there's a nice community here. I love the variety of options they have and I'm excited to try a pom class next. The studio is located on the second floor of the building. Parking in the area is tough. Although the studio has a parking lot, there are very few spots. There are paid spots across the street, but it's tough to find a free spot, so leave yourself some time.

We were warmly greeted at the door, bought two small glasses of wine for a donation and mingled in the foyer with Zaquia, who also doubles as a yoga teacher at Sculpt Fusion Yoga where I teach. We chatted up some new friends and met some friendly Visionary staff. The performance space is intimate - with chairs set out no larger than six across and only a few rows deep, with the back rows on risers. Performers entered through a curtain at the rear and well-timed lighting in a variety of colors illuminated the performance. The show itself was a modern dance exploration of identity, relationships, connections and misconnections with music that echoed a past Americana that perhaps only existed in our imaginations. I found it visceral, poignant and heartfelt. Chun P. is not really the modern dance type - but he enjoyed it and we're both planning on coming back to Visionary for another show!
