I do NOT recommend working with this company. I have worked with many contractors over the years for various home projects, big and small, and this company is at the bottom. The sales team called incessantly and when a sales guy came over, he was the typical schmoozy sales guy, even to the point of shaming the customer, saying, Oh, what, you can't pay $141 a month. Despicable. It's not that I can't, it's that I don't want to use that money for your product. However, I'm the sucker that let myself get talked into it. Worst decision ever. I was told I could keep my screen door on, which I specifically asked about because I really like having a screen door. Yet when the work crew came out, they removed the screen door and said it could not be put back on because it was destroyed in taking it off and that is typical. So I was lied to by the sales guy. After the door was installed, the inside looked terrible - no touch ups were done. I was told by the project manager that they don't do touch ups. For a company selling a premium product, the job should be done impeccably and the customer service should be top notch. I was informed less than 24 hours before the project that they had to reschedule and then was told I would be called between a 2-hour time frame to let me know when the crew was arriving and I didn't recieve a call until an hour a half after the time frame stated. Overall, a HORRIBLE customer service experience, which is completely unaccecptable for the prices they are charging. Please use a small, local company, someone you can trust who has your best interests in mind, has integrity in sales and customer service, and someone who cares about you and your project. read more

I used Power Home to replace a few windows in my house. From the moment I asked for the quote, they were professional, did not try to up-sell me and took time to explain the features of the new windows to me. Once I decided to use them, the scheduling process was professional and painless even when I had to change the installation date. Everyone I spoke with during my call was professional and helpful. The window installer showed up on the day of the install on time. They were highly skilled and friendly. The windows themselves look amazing. Definitely more functional, sturdy, and nicer than the previous original windows. The Quality Manager came during the install and showed me how to operate all of the windows. He was friendly and informative. I would definitely use their services again. read more

I write this as I am laying in bed with the sound of a cricket keeping me awake as if it is in my room. We had our windows installed a few months back and could not be more dis satisfied with the quality of product we received. This by far has been the worst experience I have ever had with any major purchase. The installers were supposed to show up on a Monday morning before 10 am. I was calling their office at 10:30 and finally got ahold of someone after leaving several messages at around 4:30. I was told that the installation crew was rescheduled the following day, and I was supposed to have been informed. The next day installers were there and completed the install by 6 pm. Now the fun really begun. The quality of the windows is terrible. As we try to go to sleep, the noise from the street (2 houses away) is like I have the window open. I can hear every car drive by. I called and expressed my concern. They sent out 3 different Supervisors that concur with my issue. They replace 1 window. It doesn't get any better. They say that is all they can do. They don't know how to handle potential customers. Made an appointment with this group at a home show yesterday for this morning. They were eager for that free estimate. Had to repeat everything I told the guy at the show to his scheduling personnel on the phone even though he'd already told it all to him. Then missed their confirmation call this morning which came 30 minutes before they said they'd call, and called them back (in less than 30 minutes) at their 888 PA number (not a local number), spent time on hold, and had to repeat all my information to their answering department. Then got a call back 10 minutes after that saying they weren't coming out because I didn't answer their call and they've left for the day. All of this happened within the time window I was told they were going to call to confirm by the sales guy yesterday and well before they were supposed to be here for the appointment. read more

The only reason for 4 stars is the sales pitch, it was very informative but longer than I expected and I didn't like the "if you buy today...." tactic. I have had at least five companies contact me for windows. Power Home Remodeling was the only one to even get in the door. I have now had a sliding glass door installed (which I absolutely love) and have contracted to have ALL my windows done. Their product is untouchable, but that's not what got them my business. What got them this was, from the first contact by the foot soldiers, to the estimator, to the remeasure, to the installers and the Quality Control follow-up (Dave,) they were people of flawless character and professionalism. I contracted the people and found the product was up to the same standards. I put more emphasis on character and trust than anything and I will spread their word as far as people will listen. We needed to have all the windows in our house done. A salesperson happened to come by so we allowed him in. Fast forward six hours (seriously longest sales pitch ever, could have done it in one) and we decided we liked their product, received a quote and decided to move forward. Install was going fine but turns out they measured two of the basement windows wrong, so they would have to come back at a later date to do those. I came home from work to find most windows installed and was mostly happy with what I found. I noticed that the screen fabric was just generic screen when what we had been shown during the marathon sales pitch was a higher quality screen fabric. When they came back to finish the last two windows my wife mentioned this to them and was assured this was the premium stuff we were shown (most definitely is not). Regardless we were told that if they needed repair or anything they were under warranty so not to worry. So, I'm hoping they hold up but we'll see. Overall the experience was fine and the windows look great, but I wasn't blown away by the excellence or anything. read more

In June Power Home Remodeling employees were going door to door. I scheduled an appointment to have my siding looked at, as I was curious at how much replacing the siding on my house would potentially cost. This was my first mistake. The appointment day arrived and the quote and explanation of siding replacement took over 2 hours. As this was a quote for work on the exterior of the house I didn't prepare to have someone in my house that day - I took the day off to get things pack for an upcoming interior remodel. The salesman asked to come in and sit down and for some water. I found the whole thing very invasive. I told him I wasn't interested in having work done the time frame given to me as I was remodeling the inside of the house. After he FINALLY left Power called me every day, twice a day from June until today (almost November). I can't speak to their work, but their sales tactics are quite over the top; borderline harassment. Today was the first day I was able to actually get a hold of someone to be removed from their contact list. read more

1 star because they are good at deception, positive reviews are written by themselves. Entire company's personnel is practically under 28 yrs old. I'm a retired General Contractor and did not mention that when they came into my home. I've never spoken to such unqualified so called "home improvement professionals" in my entire 58 yrs in the industry, did not know the proper installation procedures of the products he priced me. Just kept trying to sell me on their company name which I have now researched in their hometown of Philadelphia and the reviews are unbelievable, maybe they should change their name. As a last resort the fellow tried using scare tactics to sell claiming that my windows and roof could leak onto my electrical and cause my home to burn down while I could be sleeping. I have left continuous messages at their corporate office with no return call to explain the sales tactics used to try to get my sale. No experience, no knowledge and just deception. read more

Horrible people, horrible prices, horrible company. Unfortunately, I was misled into purchasing products from Power Home Remodeling... The prices were definitely a little steep, but that was okay because of all of their "Guarantees/ Warranties/ Blah blah blah"... I was reassured by all of this because not just 1, but 2 different employees on their sales staff, came to our home and lied to our faces about the quality and "Warranties" that their products are backed with. I'll be honest, they train their employees pretty good to put on a show in your living room... But don't be fooled. You'll likely regret the quality and workmanship of these Power Home Remodeling products from they day they're installed. After we had been swindled in, they set up the day of installation and sent an installation crew of 3 men in the middle of May, (On their kids graduation day to boot)... So of course the installation was rushed, and there were definitely things that should have been done differently. But leaving multiple dents in brand new seamless gutters from shoving the brackets in them, or making a downspout extension an inch or two shorter than they should be... are probably on the list of things that should not have been missed. However, the workmanship of their (likely subcontracted) installation crews should be the least of your worries. Don't spend thousands of dollars or overpay these guys for any of their products based on their outstanding "Guarantees/ Warranties"... They're a joke. They will use these terms and promises in verbal conversation to suck you in and have you believe that you'll be covered for anything, "Lifetime this and lifetime that"... Please do what I didn't, if you're even considering using Power Home Remodeling, I suggest reading heavily into their Warranties, Conditions, Etc. before signing anything! Believe me, I am not the type of person to bash companies on the internet, being a business owner myself... However, I hope in writing about my personal experience, that it will convince others to look more into this company and everything they're trying to sell before using them. read more

I'm hoping I'll one day be able to change this review (I'm sure Power HR has great windows), but we just cant get past their unprofessional sales people that come to our home! We bought our house one year ago and knew it was a fixer upper, so we invited a Power salesperson to come and give a free estimate & pitch of their service. After nearly THREE HOURS of pitching their company, they gave us the quotes but we just didnt have the $18K to complete the window projects on our house at the time. Fast forward one year to today and another door-to-door Power rep stopped by our house. We were a little scarred from last year's 3 hour "seminar" but we also know our windows are in desperate need of repair, so the rep said since we're technically repeat customers, he'd have a salesperson stop by this evening and just give us the updated quotes. Well, the salesperson stopped by and the very first thing she said she needed to do was remeasure all of our windows. I told her all we needed were new quotes and that we knew her product very thoroughly already. She said it was standard procedure and that she'd do it "real quick". I conceded and after 15 minutes, she came back to our living room with our measurements AND her full duffle bag of presentation materials. My husband updated her right away that we knew Power windows and their great quality, we just needed updated numbers to look at because we wanted the rest of the evening to ourselves. This salesperson continued to give us her pitch: they were the #2 window company in sales this past year, they were voted in the top by Angie's list, their windows cancel up to 80% more noise, etc. I stopped her again during this pitch and bluntly told her what our budget was and asked which windows should be our priority to fix. She gave us a number that was above our budget, and my husband blatantly left the room as he was quite frustrated at this point that this woman would not listen to our requests. The woman and I went back and forth on prices for about a half hour until she finally just called us out and said "It sounds like this project isnt as big of a focus for you if you guys are willing to walk away over $300 in our price differential. I mean, I get to go home to my own house at night; it's you guys that are letting rain and snow leak into your walls." At this point, I had had enough. We got into an argument about how she didnt listen to our requests and she left without leaving us an updated quote, and the new numbers she had written down she crossed out before she left. So yes, may be high quality windows, but we'll never know since their sales team has been so disrespectful with our time and budget requests... if you have them over, allot at least 3 hours of your day for the pitch! read more

We went with Power windows Denver to do our bay window, front door and sliding door and bathroom window. They were professional from the beginning to the end. I was a little nervous spending so much money on a project but they financed it so we didn't have to pay ANYTHING up front until the job was done. I also spoke with other neighbors who have used other companies and Power's price was the best price by far. The quality of Windows surpasses all others. The second selling point was the warranty for the windows. If I sell, the next owner still has a lifetime warranty! There was a hiccup with the initial install but I called and spoke with Steve and he fixed the problem right away. It was mostly a communication issue. So the day of install went great. They were professional and FAST!!! They cleaned everything as soon as they were done. All done in one day. Dave came by to go over everything with the windows. We checked the quality of the work together and he registered the warranty with us. The look of Windows changed the look of the house. I was awestruck! I 100% would recommend this company to anyone looking to replace windows. Everyone worked with us and I never felt pressured to buy. I hate pushy salespeople. This is a high quality company with a strong work ethic! I am so happy with my purchase. read more

So disappointed. Was so impressed with the in home estimate and all employees. Courteous and professional. But my windows haven't even been installed yet and numerous problems. BTW, I'm writing this review while waiting for the crew to arrive and begin the installation. We were give a 2 hour window (really) and they've even missed that. A 2 hour window. They are late. At this point, 40 minutes late. I do not find that excusable. Even if the installation goes well and I like the windows I am already soured on this experience. I would not recommend the company to any friends or family. AFTER you purchase their windows customer service seems to not be a concern. Again, thoroughly disappointed! read more

The whole process has been so easy and efficient from the sales pitch to the quality insurance! We are so happy with our new windows and look forward to using Power again for future products! I cannot stress how poorly my wife and I were treated at the end of our sales pitch by this company. We were nice enough to allow them to measure windows and doors and after running thru all the options we had to let them know that we are not ready to commit to any price. We then got a sales pitch about finance options and the standard sales options which are nice to hear. But after two hours at my house and being told numerous times that we were not ready to commit the sales women grabbed her items and stormed out with not even a pleasant good bye. I will never use this company for any remodeling. If you cannot sale with good service how will I ever trust you to remodel with good service. Please don't allow these rude people to waste your time, move on to the next company that will treat you and your family the way they should be. read more

Contractors that did the work - new windows throughout and gutters-were amazing. The project managers Jeff and Paul were great to work with and accomodated our schedules for the install. And the window installers were great- very patient with shuffling furniture and taking the time to make friends with the dogs ! Down side however.... were the quality control people that were sent out after the first portion of the window install. He was nothing but a high pressure-- very high pressure salesman. While the home and the financial decision belongs to my son. I live in the home and was listening to this person try to push my son in to spending DOUBLE the original amount of the windows and gutters. For a new roof and new doors (2). When I asked some very intelligent, logical questions about the roof.... he treated me as if I was stupid. If I have one recommendation to the Power Management people.... get better sales people. I have no doubt that these guys deliver a high-quality product and do the work they promise - however, they use high-pressure sales tactics and insist you set up an appointment (which other reviews said, can take 3-4 hours of your time.) The sales guy said I shouldn't cancel the appointment, because doing so "makes him look bad." When I did call and cancel they were accommodating and I told them, if I was interested down the road, I'd call them. I have received 3 calls from them since then, with no message. I had to block their number. I'm sure they get a lot of business because they're sales people are over the top friendly, but their pushy tactics really tuned me off in the end. read more

We just finished getting our windows replaced and the whole experience has been wonderful. The salesman was at the house for a few hours and really went into depth with the whole process and explained everything we would need to know about the windows. After that, we had a pre-installation guy come in who furthered explained the process and even found us some extra savings!! It was easy to set up a date for the installation. We had 14 windows replaced so they were here for 2 days. After the first day, they left the house clean without anything left in the way. Our original windows were 70+ years old and not all of them were fully functional, so we are excited to see the cost savings and be able to easily open and close the windows for the summer. (No air conditioning for us!). Overall we couldn't be happier with how simple and easy the process was and the windows look great! read more

If you value your home please go with someone else. Do not go with Power Home remodeling. Now if you're looking for someone to damage your house and leave you holding the bag  I would absolutely go with power. Well we had windows installed in mid March. They damaged the wall next to the window.  We talked to the company within a hour of the damage being done. Had to wait a month for them to even look at the damage. They said we could have someone fix it. We called several contractors but couldn't get anyone to agree to it because of the material that is used. Its a brick type material. Power then sent a contractor they use. He came out said maybe he could do it but would call us the following Wednesday. We called and texted several times  and nothing. Finally got ahold of him a week later  and he said he can't do it  unless he tore apart the entire kitchen wall cut out all the brick and re drywalled but left  the connecting wall alone  with the brick  only by the stove .  If you  could see how that would look it would see it woukd look ridiculous . To top it off  there are photos being taken in 5 Days of our house  and it is going on the market in 8 days .  At this point who knows what we will do. Thank a lot. Wasted 2500.00 on something we should have done ourselves. Atleast we would have taken more care since it is our house. We will probably have to wind up giving an allowance for it losing even more money. And to boot we're still trying to get ahold of the warranty department. I've also posted on their Facebook page and got told contact the warranty department... LOL what a good idea. I regret ever letting the salesman into my home. read more

The sales pitch was great and the salesperson was very knowledgeable. However, once we signed up, the quality of personnel dramatically declined. The individual who did the onsite measurements was not experienced and didn't even measure the impact of the top window correctly - we wanted a left hang and he said it wouldn't fit (which was incorrect). We had questions about our door we wanted and he couldn't answer them, so we cancelled the door. The actual installation was HORRIBLE. Caulking looked as if 5 year olds had done it. There was glue on my rug and on the outdoor patio. Metal pieces were left. A ceiling fan was broken (and replaced). The sales pitch explained how all the install crew was employees which was a huge part of why we bought the windows - DON'T FALL FOR IT. In the end, a project manager came out, agreed with the issues, and they did make everything correct. The actual product is good - the windows do a better job of keeping out the heat and the cold. But the actual experience of installation was the worst we've ever had, and we've had the whole house worked on. They are *very* expensive windows. I would say check out Andersen before you go with their "you have to decide now" pitch. I wish I had read more reviews before signing on. read more

On Monday April 31st a sales representative stopped by my elderly brother in laws home as he just happened to be in the neighborhood. This was about 3:30 in the afternoon talked about siding and gutters pushing a particular gutter product. My brother in law expressed he wanted the same colors that he currently has. The rep told him they only had 2 colors available. When my brother in law expressed he only wants the same color or no work! After 2.5 hours of talking The sales person left for an hour so my brother in law could eat. Came back around 7pm and still pressured him to buying. Gathered sensitive information for financing qualification from him, as well as his girlfriend & had them sign agreements and finally left at 12:30AM! I just found out about this and will be calling corporate offices on Monday to report suspicious elder fraud abuse as my brother in law and girlfriend are both on disability and this is unexceptable behavior by a sales rep to keep 2 elderly people up that late to close a deal! read more
