I wish I could give zero stars, Power home remodeling should be power scam and will screw you out of money remodeling. I had my door installed last year in October. The guys who installed it were super nice and really went above and beyond, however, they had to take some of my walls off to put a new header in to attach the door to. They put drywall back up but there are huge chunks missing from the drywall and they told me they couldn't finish the wall because they don't have experience. The installers told me to call Power and have someone finish it. When I called, I was informed that I would have to pay for it out of pocket because they don't have drywall experts....Yea how about not...I spent enough on this door that Power can pay for my drywall to be finished. That was my first super huge red flag. It took me a few weeks to realize that the kick plate we ordered didn't come on the door so I called about that and was told that someone would contact me to get that installed. GREAT! While waiting for the kickplate install, the keypad on my door started locking and unlocking itself, even after turning the automatic lock off. Called power back about that because frankly, I don't want anyone coming into my house while I'm sleeping. Thanks but no thanks. Flash forward to early June, salesman shows up wanting to give me a quote for our siding and windows...Now here is the thing, I told them repeatedly that I didn't want to throw any more money into their company because I still don't have the damage inside my home fixed, the kick plate still isn't installed, and the keypad is still not working. Anyways, the sales guy recognized my address and listened to my problems as I went on and on in a mad ramble about how disappointed I am with Power. He then takes pictures of the damage in my house and sends all the information to his field manager I guess and said they would be calling me. A week later I get a call from someone saying that they were working on getting a claim started and I asked: "for what". He tells me that I may have to pay a little money out of pocket for the inside of the house drywall. Yea again, how about no...He tells me someone else will call me soon but just in case I do not hear from them, I should call them (super great customer service guys...not). Jump to today, 8-19-2020, I call power to tell them that I haven't heard anything from Power, my patience is thin with them and I am close to calling a lawyer. The guy, I believe his name is Rich, sends me an email stating I need to send him pictures of the damage and missing kickplate and broken keypad. I sent pictures and now here I am writing a review that will probably get some automated message about "Oh we are sorry for the inconvenience, please call our customer service at blah blah blah. Moral of the story... For the love of everything holy, DO NOT USE THIS GOD AWFUL COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! read more

We decided to go with PHRG for our gutters, windows, and doors, and then added siding as well. Our home is a 1967 ranch style, and when we purchased it still had single pane windows and storm windows. None of our doors matched, and the previous owners liked to DIY and use freecycle. MANY things are a mess. We had 8 windows and 4 doors done, with 2 of the windows needing to be 2 in a single space due to dimensions. (think big living room window, we wanted to try to do a bay or a bow window, but the size of the opening and depth of the soffit would not allow it. not a deal breaker for us though) Every crew Power has sent out has been great and incredibly accommodating. I am a very anxious person by nature, and they have done everything to make me feel at ease. There were a couple of hiccups (plumbness of my walls, for example) but they were managed easily. Sales side of things could maybe use a little less push, but really thats sales anywhere, and I don't think anyone enjoys it. The siding is going up this week, I am very excited to see how my house looks all put together again. (will update when that is done) but as it stands, I am quite happy with their work. My windows block out a ton of traffic noise, and don't rattle with passing cars or helicopters. They also open and close, and can actually be cleaned easily on both sides, and the screens go up too, so you can pass something through if you need to. My doors are gorgeous, and don't show light around them like my old ones. My gutters are not running the wrong way spilling onto my stoop either, oh the difference going up to 6 inch gutters from 3 inch makes! I would absolutely use them again. I'm sure there are cheaper options, but when it comes to your home, cheaper is not always better, or comparable, or sufficient. You should see the DIY freecycle messes I keep having to deal with around here, enough to make your head spin. read more

After a few bumps with the initial product and some frustrating delays, I finally connected with the right people at Power Home Remodel, and I'm truly glad I did. What could have remained a disappointing experience was completely turned around by a team that genuinely cared about making things right. Once I got through to management, they responded quickly and with real urgency. I was especially impressed to see the Vice President of Operations personally on his knees, working hands-on to resolve the issues at my home. That kind of leadership is rare, and it shows just how committed this company is to its customers. But what really stood out beyond the fix was the attitude of every person who came out to help. Started with Power to get an estimate for new energy efficient windows. We are planning to upgrade ours in the next couple years and wanted to gain exposure to a lot of companies, prices, and products before then. After talking with the sales rep, we ended up purchasing a new front door. The one we had was in bad shape and we couldn't be happier with the new one that was installed. The entire process was smooth, easy, and informative. Communication was very thorough throughout the entire process. We were kept up to date on everything and the installation was very easy. The day of installation went very smoothly. The guys were on time, with a phone call that morning. They were efficient and fast, but thorough during the actual installation. They did a phenomenal job cleaning up, I honestly think it was cleaner when they left than it was when they got there. When they were done, they explained what they did and the features of our new door. Overall, we were very impressed with the entire process and the obvious quality of their products. We have gotten a couple other estimates on windows since and while Power is a little bit higher price, we confidently will choose Power when we do replace our windows because of their employees, the ease of everything, and high quality product. read more

We had a very good experience with Power Home Remodeling. The in home visit to show us the window products was very informative. Our rep Patrick was very knowledgeable about the products and the various options available. He discussed with us the different pricing options and how we could complete the work in stages instead of one large project. We purchased 8 windows and a sliding glass door. We wanted to see how well the company performed in all stages of the ordering and installation process. We are very impressed with the fact that they do not sub contract out the work for installation. The installers are employees of Power Home Remodeling. That was very important to us because we have had major projects done in our home that took months to complete because of all the different contractors involved. Everything went well with the installation day. There was one problem with a basement window measurement. The company got right on the phone and had a rush order done for the basement window. We are very happy with our new windows. We are so impressed with the product, the installation and the warranty that we are having the remainder of our windows replaced next month before winter arrives. read more

Do not use this company. Terrible sales person named Matt M came to our house on a Saturday, aggressive, condescending, asked very invasive personal questions that have nothing to do with remodeling, won't respect people's time or take no for an answer. You would think they would know if the homeowners are clearly annoyed they won't buy anything from the company. The guy we were to make the appointment with had no common sense and wanted our life story before even making an appointment. It's like their mantra is to intentionally take up as much of your personal time as possible while annoying you the whole time. We ended up cancelling the appointment and the guy on the phone was indifferent to any complaints, turns out they were going to send a window guy when they were trying to schedule us for siding anyway. Know how to read your client, this hard sell aggressive pitch does nothing but tick people off. All it tells me is the whole company is run this way, (given the number of similar complaints) and ensures me that I will have nothing to do with their company ever. From the moment we opened the door to see if we were interested in a quote, we scheduled an appointment and to our surprise, Evan came to our door and gave us an HONEST look at all our windows and insulation, he showed us the examples of the windows, how the heat deflects and the water runs away from the house instead of into the house,, we were sold, Evan was like a part if the family by the time he left. Evan scheduled the measurements for the windows. Antonio was on time, professional and took measurements, explained what we needed to do to prep for the install. We needed HOA approval, Natalie prepared the package for me to submit ONLY because my HOA doesn't allow contractors to submit package. VERY EASY!!!! Once the approval came through, INSTALLATION was scheduled. Installation day was STRESS FREE, Miguel and his crew were PHENOMENAL!!! VERY PROFESSIONAL and I didn't have to CLEAN UP ANYTHING!!! They cleaned up after the job!! I wouldn't go to anyone else for siding, doors, windows or installation. This was the best experience with Power Remodeling. We needed some good quality windows. The first young man. Cole, that came to our door was so friendly and made us feel like family. The next person came with all the information about their company and product. He even brought a demo window so we could see ahead of time what we would be getting. We never felt pressured. We decided to get four windows at this time. The windows came in a few weeks. The crew that installed them were so good at what they do. They work great together. They installed all four in just a few hours. They didn't leave a mess. They were all so friendly. We will definitely have them come out for our future windows. These windows have noise cancelling which keeps the noise down from College Ave. These windows have a lifetime warranty, which can be transferred to new owners. These windows have all the bells and whistles. Easy to clean from inside. They have safety latches. They have an argon gas inside to insulate windows. Our homes windows were original to our home which is now 15 years old. The windows had fogged up between the panes and were drafty. Our front rooms were so cold in the winter we couldn't even use them. We found Power Home Remodeling through Angie's List and met with Phil soon after. The price for 9 windows was very competitive and compared well to Anderson's product. Phil did the initial measurements and a couple weeks later a team came to confirm the original measurements as part of the company process. Our windows were installed yesterday and the installation guys were awesome. They were very polite and did a beautiful job. Water damage to the window trim was even replaced. The installation took all day and the guys worked until 7 pm to finish up. There was a piece of something from the manufacturing caught between the two panes on one of the windows and an replacement was ordered right away. Power Home Remodeling did a great job on our new window installation. Their product is very good and their pricing was fair and competitive. Their partnership with Pella Windows to produce some very nice, functional windows that are easy to install. The amount of heat penetration these windows are able to reduce is amazing for energy efficiency. They also reduce noice from the outside by a huge margin. We are very happy with our new windows and loved that they come with a lifetime transferable warranty if we ever decide to sell the house. The door sales man, Brandon, and the siding professional, Kcie, were both so very awesome. Brandon, being a door knocker, was courteous of my time, friendly with my baby, and respectful of my husband not being home at the time. Kcie, the siding professional came by to talk to us about our siding options. She was knowledgeable about the products, real about costs, and super friendly with our baby and our three dogs. It was a pleasure meeting them both. Their rates are great, their customer service and warranties are top of the line and I cannot wait to do business with their company! I highly recommend this company. They do many charitable contributions for example Alex's Lemonade Stand and are one of the few companies that offer a 12 week paid maternity leave which I fully support. Hooray for a company that truly delivers everything they promise! We heard about Power Home Remodeling while shopping at Sam's Club and signed up for a free estimate. The estimate took longer than we expected but we were sold on the lifetime, transferrable warranty (on both the product AND the installation) and the price was competitive. Every step of the project went smoothly and Power Home Remodeling communicated clearly throughout the process. We were assigned a project manager named Paul and were able to call him with anything that came up. During installation, once the old trim was removed, the installers found that two of the windows were ordered too small. I LOVED that they made the choice to re-order windows rather than try to make the small windows work. Danny and Loray and James and Juan are great installers and cleaned up everything thoroughly. I've never once bought anything from a door-to-door salesperson, nor do I trust them. I was approached by Power and offered a free quote for windows (mine were builder-grade and terrible), so I entertained their offer. Having received quotes from Champion in the past, I thought for sure this would be a waste of time. I was wrong. They quoted me a very reasonable price for 12 custom Pella windows. They also state many times, "you don't sign till the job is done and you're satisfied." This is true. One of my windows was shipped the wrong size. They installed 11, then returned a month later for the last unit. I didn't sign till the last unit. The installation crew was fast and cleaned up everything! I can't believe the quality of the windows and installation. I feel I got a $40k job for a third of that. read more

Working with Power was an easy and enjoyable experience. The sales team was polite and friendly and completely straight forward. We worked with Patrick on the sales team who was very understanding of our time restraints and was even willing to leave and come back later when we needed him to. Scheduling our measurement appointment was quick and easy. We had a minor hiccup with our install appointment where the appointment didnt get communicated with the crew but the office employee didn't attempt to make any excuses and was incredibly apologetic. She got us a new appointment for the next week and the crew showed up with no problems. Worked with knowledgeable sales staff to determine needs for our 1920s craftsman. They were able assist in recommending various styles for our new Queen Ann's windows while also analyzing need for new gutters and attic insulation. We decided to go with just windows on the initial install but are considering gutters/attic and new front door for future. Install very easy completed in the timeframe discussed with only few finishing touches the next morning. Initial sales reps, measurement specialist, installation team and follow up consultant were professional and respectful. They all definitely know what they are doing and care about the product they deliver. Would surely work with them again and recommend their services to friends/family and colleagues in the future! read more
