Omar and Jeff were fantastic to say the least. After the most HORRIFIC experiences within the past month, my boyfriend and I were spent; both mentally and financially. Empty promises to say the least, hard credit checks OVER AND OVER AND OVER followed by no responses AT ALL, down payment after down payment for cars that were NOTHING at all like the listing, salespeople, and pictures promised.....and then a breath of fresh air. We received a phone call in the evening, and the day after we were driving home in our new car. Omar was so responsive, honest, and direct. There was no cat and mouse games, just fantastic customer service. My boyfriend and I couldn't believe it to be true. We were honestly waiting for the ball to drop. Stay away. I wouldn't even buy an air freshener from this dealership. I bought a vehicle here 4 years ago and it was a terrible experience. They sold me a vehicle that needed a catalytic converter but for almost a month denied that was the problem. They kept promising the issue would be resolved and I'd have my truck back in one day. They had my truck for two weeks and only replaced an o2 sensor trying to cover up the real issue. I dealt with Jason for weeks trying to find out what was happening with my truck and I never got a straight answer. After I called him a liar because he kept promising my truck would be done even though the part was back ordered, he called me and started cursing me out. To further prove how terrible this dealership is, I asked for a second key because they only gave me one. They told me I'd have to go to the dealer. The day I got the vehicle home I was going over everything again and found the second key in the glove box. My daughter had an appointment to rest drive a car that was advertised on their website for $12,888 but when we got there the salesman had a price of $13,500 on the website which went up overnight (not a trustworthy sign) after test driving the car and seeing the cosmetic damage on the rear bumper I offered him $12,000 and was willing to put down 40% and finance the rest. However, when the salesman was calculating the payment he started with $16,875 when it should've been $14,000 (12,888 + sales tax). It's annoying that he waited until the last moment to reveal this information and then tried to play it off. After reading multiple posts at many review sites regarding their falsely advertised prices (while shopping for truck), I called them to ask about this directly. According to many reviews, this dealer advertises their cars at considerably lower price than their actual cost. The listed prices of ALL their cars is actually the balance of the price AFTER a $2500 down payment. Which means that they are advertising each of their vehicles at $2500 LESS than their ACTUAL price! (Which they won't tell you) I called and the lady I spoke with was very polite, but trying to talk around my question.... I asked her if this was the case and she asked me, "Well what site did you see the price (of a car)?".. I told her at a few, including your's. She said that's because we offer different deals. After more of the same, I asked her straight out if that if a car is listed on your website $15,000, will the cost be more than $17,000? She then said again, well this is why I'd ask you to bring in the ad, because we have DIFFERENT offers. We went around and around with this. The closest thing to an answer that I eventually got is that "It's possible but it depends". Having all the info that I needed , I thanked her and said goodbye...... This dealership was by far the rudest and hardest to deal with used car dealership I have ever dealt with. Hard to get people on the phone, and when you do, they tend to be rude. Asked for some pictures directly to a sale associate, after 5 days of not receiving them, and 2 times calling in and failing to reach said associate, the sales associate became disrespectful and indignant over his own failure to provide the pictures he promised . Called back a few days later to speak to the manager under the assumption that I had just got a bad sales rep (Jeff), and the manager (Bill Christos) was as rude as the sales rep. Dealing with this dealership is the poster child for high pressure, low competence service that used car salesman and dealerships are stereotyped as. Gus gave me an out the door price of over $15,500 for a car advertised online as $10,850. Tax, title, license, registration, etc. should have brought this to no more than $12,150. I questioned it and was told that the internet price was only honored if I financed through them. I essentially Gus what I thought about that sham, and he laughed at me, then tried to tell me that "everyone" charges those fees. I telephoned this company to inquire about a car they have listed for 13.5k. The woman told me, tje car is available to see today. We went and inspected the car, and decided to buy it. When we went inside to meet the sales rep. He had an additional 3,400k in the column. I asked him, where THAT came from, he said "that's the astrik" He would sell me the car for the posted 13.5k if I gave him a 3,400 down payment. I came home, and read the reviews on this company, and realized, they are as shadey, and misleading, as anyone can be. I questioned the astrik, commented to him, that they're actually willing to post a price, then confirm that the car is there for that price, and have me take a trip from my house, only to switch prices. The sales person had all the details written on a piece of paper about the cost and other financial details but refused to show it unless we do a background check which was so unethical. 2. Peter, the finance guy, ripped us off on the finance part by putting higher amount as sales price than mentioned (he made us fool by adding the down payment to the total car cost instead of subtraction which was 10k). Since it was our first time car buying experience, we did not observe those minute details on the piece of paper but realized later. 4. Later when we went to take the delivery, everyone was so unprofessional and made us wait for about an hour saying everyone was busy even though there were absolutely no customers. I wish I could be give them a zero. My Fiancé literally just gave them the down payment and check engine went on. We found it was the catalytic converter. We are from out of state so it's drive to get up there. They owed us a foglight so we took they day off of work to come up to get it fixed. They don't have a mechanic there on weekends. The salesman has the mechanic run the code and it came back as the catalytic converter like we had stated previously. He said he was going to figure out through our warranty if he could get Infiniti to cover it. No phone call back so we followed up. They were still working on it but told us it was safe to drive. Today I literally almost got killed because the "it's ok to drive" catalytic converter stopped and a semi truck almost hit me. So apart of calling News 12 in both NY and NJ and calling the Better Business Bureau in NY, we are both fuming. So lucky my mom decided to stay home while I ran an errand. Scheduled an appointment to go look at a truck they had on the lot. Told them we'd be coming from Northern Rhode Island and had a 4 hour drive out to the dealer. They called me a hour into the trip to verify that I was still coming, we got 45min from the dealer and I get a call that they sold the truck. I understand it's first come first serve, but if you know you have a customer driving 200 miles 1 way WITH CASH to buy a vehicle from you, you would think you could atleast hold the vehicle for the day. Apparantly the owner of the dealer was aware I was coming and gave the OK to sell it to the other guy anyway. It's sad how good people can be at convincing you of how good a car might be. Above all I know and understand that you take a risk at everything you buy from anyone. Nevertheless my wife went and brought a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta from Power Motor Group and sad as it is not even ONE week later it was problems. First the car started turning on weird making a loud noise. Two when we take it for a run to open it up the car is struggling while being be floored and then the check engine light begins to flash. We call and inform Bill of the issue and they make it seem like it's our fault. I then plug my computer into the Ecu and find out a p0303 error on the vehicle. Lack of better words the car has a cylinder 3 misfire. This code just doesn't pop up. So I believe the inspection sticker was just thrown on the car. Furthermore, I finally got the car dropped off on Memorial Day. Communication is key is a successful relationship and sadly this business lack simple communication. We didn't hear back from them until Wednesday saying when you coming to get you car. So Thursday the car was picked up and check and the code was gone. And that leads to the third Three one Friday morning after picking the car back up long story short the DAMN CAR DOESN'T START. So we car Bill and inform him and he saying that I have to tow it over there. We ask since we having so many issues with the car could we just exchange it since it hasn't even been a week or just get our deposit back. His response is no if you return it I will sue you.
