I've been a member at PYE for a little over 6 months now! I absolutely love this place. I drive 30 minutes just to get here because the prices are better than anywhere I've found locally. All of the instructors have really unique styles so it's easy to get some good variety. I would give this place 5 stars, but as others have mentioned, the owner doesn't seem to be reachable via email or phone. The phone number listed on the website goes to no where. My friend had some issues with her membership and could not get a hold of anyone for months! Luckily, I was able to get the owners phone number from one of the instructors so that she could contact him. I don't understand why the correct phone number would not be on the website. That being said, when I did have a billing issue I reached out to rob via text and he resolved the issue in 5 mins. read more

I am still new to the Yoga scene. This is the hot yoga type where you sweat your ass off. (maybe literally too) Staff is friendly and instructors are very helpful. Not meant for super new beginners but you can always go at your own pace. So all levels welcomed and encouraged. Yoga room is clean and it would be good to bring your own yoga mat and towel. Limited changing rooms but for the indimate size it is sufficient for the place. read more

I bought a 20 class Groupon, when they first opened, good for 6 months. Everyone was really nice and I enjoyed the class immensely even if it was a bit overcrowded at times. However, I injured my knees in my 6th or 7th class. and had to take a long time to heal, then had the bad luck to injure my back in PT. I called a couple of times about extending the expiration of my classes due to injury and did not receive any response until I was emailed a blanket statement that Groupons will not be honored any longer. Ceasing to honor classes despite medical issues strikes me as a bad business practice, and while I liked them, I'm not inclined to purchase yet more classes I may or may not be able to redeem. read more

Poor customer service. I had signed up at this place over 4 years ago and attending 1 class. I just recently said to myself "I'd love to try this again, what was that place I went to"? Well I found it and signed up for their introductory offer for $39 and signed up for 3 classes. I received an email the night before from Rob saying that I am not a new member and not eligible for this offer. Ok, I reply back asking for a curtesy since I had attended one class several years ago, his response is as follows"Hi David, It is great to hear from you. since you last came our over head costs went up 300% and we have hired the best yoga teachers by far in the area. In turn, the prices we offer are different than before. We get requests like this everyday. We have full classes and a full parking lot so our new-client-invitation-discount is for people that have never been here before. please understand you are not the first person i had to decline this offer. I too search for deals, so i know where you are coming from. you have given the studio 39.00. for 39.00 i can give you a discount. with this money i can provide you with 3 classes with any teacher on the schedule. This allows you to try again for a discounted rate and prevents us from new client deal discount over use." First off I am a new customer and your overhead is no concern to me. I am not trying to pull anything over on anyone, if I liked it I would sign up. That simple. There is plenty of competition out there and customer service rates to me as high as the product you're providing. BEWARE! This is a decent hot yoga studio however do not sign up for the monthly package! My wife signed up for the automatic monthly payments because it was cheaper per class and was told she could cancel at anytime. We moved and she sent multiple emails and phone calls to the desk and directly to the owner to cancel and she did not receive a response. This went on for months until she was forced to contact her credit card company and cancel the payments. I even visited the studio in person and was told by the desk staff "I don't know how to cancel that" Be aware they will try to convince you to sign up for the automatic monthly payments and WILL NOT cancel it for you. I find it alarming that a yoga studio could practice such dishonest business practices. read more

Okay, I'm a believer...a tired and slightly sore, but super happy believer. I've done yoga, but "power hot" yoga I was a skeptic. Having said that I'm competative and like to feel like I've had a work out and Hatha Yoga and other "room temp" yogas were boring me. Yes, it's Power and Hot and therefore awesome. You will sweat more then you ever had in your life. You will be a little sore, but in a good way. You will be challenged. Unlike Bikram it doesn't offer the exact same poses over and over so you get a nice variation and each practice is a little different. After 90 minutes in 95 degrees with 60% humidity you will end up defaulting to relaxed...simply because you may be tired OR you may truly be relaxed. Results...awesome! Even my family can see the difference after 4 months. Reduced stress and firmer body parts (the part you don't want really jiggling). There's an instructor for everyone here. They have numerous. The yoga studio itself is basic, no mirrors. Nothing fancy as it is part of an industrial office complex turned into a yoga studio. Not huge...pretty small to moderate, but the class sizes are nice for that reason. You rarely have another sweaty yogi breathing right next to you. The only thing I would change if I could...class times. There's not an early one or an afternoon one on the weekdays. They offer morning and two evenings on the weekdays. The weekends have an early morning, but not an evening one which on Sundays would be nice. Especially in the summer...people are still enjoying the day and don't want to leave at 3:30pm to get to Yoga when it's sunny outside. They'd rather go at 6pm. Other then that it's a perfect Yoga studio. read more

Still 5 stars a month later - I have loved it and am going to continue coming here. Instructors are very helpful, everyone seems to care, and I get a killer workout every time! I like that each instructor kind of has their own style also, which is nice to switch it up! So far I have loved Sarah, Nanci, and Jenn ( whom does an amazing ab workout at the end ) - and am looking forward to trying everyone else too. My recommendation is to definitely get there about 15 mins early - these classes get filled! Especially the weekend classes. read more

I used to love this place, but my last visit has turned me away for good. When I first started going here, it was from a Groupon visit, FYI your allowed to use Groupons once every 6 months if you haven't been to the facility in the allotted time, and after they expire the business is supposed to honor the credit you paid to buy the Groupon. It had been a long while since I attended a class and decided I would use the credit from an expired Groupon, again its a Groupon policy that this paid amount is always honored. So, I signed up and headed into the studio and began stretching on my mat. Not ten minutes later, Rob the owner came in the studio and called me outside of the class in front of everyone. Once at the front desk, he began to argue with me that I was not allowed to use it, to which i argued back and even read the Groupon policy off of the paper I printed out. This ended with him saying, "well I'll give you three visits this way you're saving money but don't buy anymore Groupons for here." He actually ripped me off and did not credit me the right amount of three visits. Once I entered the studio after this, another person attending the class came up to me and said "let's talk after, that was ridiculous and I know a place much better than this." Also, I was so aggravated that I couldn't even enjoy the class after that. It really was just bad business and I don't know what the harm would have been if he waited until after the session and handled it with more class. Very disappointed in this place; what an embarrassing experience. I went to this studio because it allowed me to unwind and recollect myself after working in Boston and trekking through the commute. The only reason I gave three stars is because Nancy is a great instructor and really maintains the flow of the class. read more

This is neither yoga, nor instruction. I am a yoga practitioner of over 14 yrs, including some astanga teacher training at Kripalu. At the class that I attended, there was very little instruction and the intstructor, Rob, kept his eyes closed most of the time making it impossible to instruct students. There were no adjustments made in postures, a vital part of a class. There was a tremendous potential for participants to injure themselves due to the lack of instruction and adjustment. Making up poses such as the one called, "Lounge Lizard", is pure quackery. Interesting that there is no documentation of Rob's yoga training or credentials on the website or in the studio. I have come back to yoga after a long hiatus. I had surgery on both my wrists. The poses I use to do with ease have become a challenge to me. Even poses I thought were easy in the past have become difficult. I do what I can in my practice-- as yoga is a very humbling practice. I hope to become stronger and more balanced both mentally and physically. I know it's a Power Yoga class-but sometimes I wish they offered intermediate classes as well. I just read a review that was posted 5/26/16 from Ryan M and the exact same thing happened to me & I never wrote a review but now finding out it happened to another person I felt I needed to tell all. (I shortened it to make it a quicker read) I started going to the studio when it first opened and got to know the owner, Rob and the staff there. I went 3 to 4 tines a week. After being there a while my schedule changed and had to stop going as much. I was reluctant to buy any kind of class package because of my schedule change. So I started paying as I went. During this time, I shared with Rob, the owner, of my schedule change through small talk before class. So he was well aware of my inability to attend many classes. One weekend I went and there was a new girl behind the desk. I told here I am paying as a walk in and she quickly told me that there was a new special deal that might work well for me. After we figured out it was she then told me I could just do it for a month and then cancel it. I told her ok but I wanted it to be canceled asap. She said ok but she did not know how to do that and that she would just talk to Rob when she saw him. I left it at that knowing that Rob knew me pretty well and that I would of never bought a month by mouth payment plan bc of my schedule change so i was not worried about it not being done correctly. My month ended and just could not fit yoga in any more and stopped going. Low and be hold a few month had passed and I noticed on my credit card there were 3 months worth of charges from Rob. I Just assumed it was an over sight and gave Rob a quick email to tell him. We exchanged a few emails back and forth and the last email he sent me was telling me that he was not going to credit me the 3 months because he was sure that he was in the room the day I signed up for the month by mouth payment & I never said any thing about cancelling it. I say how ironic because if he was there in the room when I signed up than the front desk girl would of been able to have processed my credit card and not have had to asked Rob later. At that point I decided it was not worth my time to ping pong back and forth with a shrew business man. All I can say is WORD OF MOUTH GOES A LONG WAY. read more

I love this studio. I will try any studio and I tend to drop in at different places rather than go to the same place all the time. I find myself here more often than anywhere else. It's the sweatiest hot yoga I've ever been to, not including Bikram (which I dislike). Almost every class has been great and some have been exceptional. One night I dropped in on a class focused on handstands, which was amazing, as I've been specifically working on them. Highly recommend. read more

I went to the 730 class on Tuesday night and absolutely loved it! The instructor was great! The staff was super friendly!

The people working there were so nice and inviting. They are doing a deal 9 classes for 9 dollars, what a score! I forgot my hair tie only to find they had a bowl of new ones to give out for those who forget. The room was dark and candle lit which was so nice and relaxing. Teacher was awesome and showed us some new sets that we didn't know while giving us a good stretch and great work out. We left sweaty and happy. Will be back! read more

Loved everything about her and really respected her knowledge about the positions and when to rest. My back and neck were sore before going into class and now they feel great. Agree with Ryan M. This yoga studio started out great with incredible instructors including the owner Rob who all offered great classes. HOWEVER, a similar thing happened to me with the autopay that I was unaware of when I paid for the first group of classes. I signed nothing to have an autopay and by the time I realized I had automatically been charged it was about 2 wks into the month of paid for visits. When I emailed them kindly asking to stop the autopay and to be reimbursed for the first autopay that I was unaware of and missed most of, Kelsey responded that she had stopped the autopay and ignored my request to be reimbursed. I emailed again asking to be reimbursed given the circumstances. I got no response to this email and sent another one (nothing rude just asking if I could be reimbursed). Well I was appalled at the patronizing, rude response I got from the owner Rob. "We have made it very clear proper English comprehension. Kelsey explained it to you and we provided a 3 foot sign in front of you when you signed up." Well Kelsey had never explained it to me, actually disregarded my question. I never saw anything about autopay on that sign. And I never signed anything to have autopay. He went on in his email and ended it with "All is approved." Based on my personal experience and reading others reviews I'm pretty sure Rob's business ethic and yoga practice don't quite match up, which is too bad because he's a good instructor just needs to learn to cool it when doing business. Loved the facilities and had an amazing hot yoga session!!!

I am moving to the area and decided to give this a try. In three words, "I love it!" I was looking for something to help with my anxiety, hypothyroid and muscle soreness. I tried bikram a few times and it just wasn't for me. I was excited when I saw heated power yoga and a video of Rodney Yee on the site. After the first class I was sold. I would recommend this to all levels of yogis. The instructor is awesome and makes your practice fun and relaxing, rather than stressful. The only issue that I have is the class schedule. I wish there was a 7am class or perhaps a noon class. It's still new, so maybe in time... Give it a try!!! read more

I was sold after my first class. Rob the owner is a healer and has great energy and it's reflected in this healing space. All of the teachers are wonderful and I truly feel their mission to help the community. If you go at your own pace and not at the pace of your close by neighbors on the mat, you should have a great time just being in your own body. Had heard great reviews and wanted to try this place. Called to get more info. Extremely disappointed with the front desk person (it seems he was the owner Robert or something like that). He couldn't offer any recommendations given the diverse classes/types/instructors they offer for the slightly faster pace or power yoga class/ instructor I was looking for - despite describing in detail my requirements. Kept beating around the bush with uber standard yoga marketing spiel and finally got frustrated and said this studio is not for me! Way to go Mr. Owner! Instead of being a good business man and knowing your business inside out to offer recommendations or being honest and saying he can find out more and call me back he took the easy path and just shut the communication!!
