Great yoga studio. The instructors are fantastic and very supportive. No two classes are the same. My only gripe is that it often fills up (esp on the weekends) which can make it really uncomfortable since you are only 1-2 feet away from the person next to you and then more late people come in and you start to think oh boy.... I highly recommend getting there early for a weekend class. Weekday classes will offer you more space, but don't get there late, otherwise you may end up being on their live stream for people following the class from home. It's a great workout, and the heated room is amazing for sweating all the toxins out of your body. They offer monthly specials periodically. read more

I have tried really hard for a few years to like it here and could never put my finger on exactly why I didn't like it. I always leave feeling awesome (it's hot yoga who wouldn't?) But time and time again, I really just feel like this is not a welcoming place I want to be practicing yoga at. I attended class a few weeks ago and the instructor made an announcement at the end of class about people talking negatively about each other in the locker room area and public spaces. It was basically a lecture for the class to stop and it was really awkward and gave off negative energy. It is just not the vibe I am looking for and rubbed me the wrong way, so I will be seeking another studio elsewhere that has less drama and negative behavior. I truly hope the environment here changes because I think it has a lot of potential to be great and it's just unfortunate. read more

This studio must be doing well. Stopped by a little after 7:30 PM on a Monday night to find out about membership options. 3 women were inside chatting. As I approached the door one shouted "we are closed" as another made a motion waving me away with her hands. I thought the least they could have done would have been to open the door to let me know a better time to come back...but I guess shouting and waving me away is just as good as I quickly understood what sort of environment they must offer. I found it very strange for a yoga studio and small business in this economic climate to be so unwelcoming to a potential client, but if they are so quick to turn away a potential new customer they clearly don't need the business, so good for them I guess. read more

Amazing! I've been practicing hot power yoga north of Boston area for about 3 years now and was ready to try somewhere new. This place is super hot and feels great if that's what your looking for, sweat pouring 10 minutes in! Instructor was great, very clean and comfortable atmosphere, and great energy overall. Hot hot hot. I was really looking for a TRUE hot power class, one that makes you sweat just thinking about it. This place fit the bill. I went in on one of those blustery Boston-area nights when the powdery snow was whipping all around the parking lot. It's the kind of wind that wants to take your face off--you know what I mean? It was really nice to go into Solstice and sweat up a storm. The instructor was Carleen, and there were some newbies to a power practice there. She was really great at supporting them while giving everyone else a really good power flow. She is great at motivating everyone. Hot power classes (when done right) can get REALLY challenging. It's only hot enough for me when I want to run out of the room! After class I changed my top, and you really need to, and I was just sitting there dripping. Awesome. If you're curious about hot power and feeling a little scared, they also have intro classes taught by the most wonderful and lovely Jeanne Magazu. She is a truly great teacher and person. The dead of winter is the perfect time to go check out a power class. Take it at your own pace. Leave time to find the place; it's a bit tucked away in the warren that is Market Street, Lynnfield. read more

Love the instructors, the classes, the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the location. The design where the bathrooms are is not ideal ( you have the cut through the yoga room to get to them- therefore they are not accesible when a class is in session) but that's beyond their control. I'm a big fan on hot power yoga and Solstice is fantastic. I went to Empower (its sister studio) in Beverly for years but this location is now a lot more convenient. Space is beautiful, clean and the teachers are amazing. Love it! read more

Practicing at this studio for almost a year and a half. I love it and look forward to the classes each time. Instructors and participants are always supportive and friendly. I have tried only a handful of the instructors, but each time I am pleasantly surprised with a kicka$$ workout. They always have something "new" to try...for example, the Hip Hop Flow class. I haven't tried it, but who doesn't love a good jam sesh while you are stretching out? I'm overall impressed with my progress and I try to make a class one time a week, sometimes two. If you are new to yoga or hot yoga, it's tough at first, but I highly recommend giving it a try. It's definitely worth it and you will see progress. read more

I love this studio!! I've been coming here for a year now and every class I have taken has given me a good workout/detox. The instructors are great and the classes are reasonably priced. There is a student discount too as well as a $5 "happy hour" class on Fridays. Definitely one of the best yoga studios around!! read more
