He was incredibly responsive over email and phone calls, always getting back to us right away and answering all our questions thoroughly. He really listened to us and made sure to capture all the footage we wanted. As stressful as a last-minute hire can be, I always felt like we were in good hands with Chris, and for that I am forever grateful. On the day-of, where we met for the first time (!), I knew we made the right decision: he was polite, friendly, and funny. He had some great ideas about how to capture everything, and worked wonderfully with our photographers. Best of all, we hardly noticed his presence (super ideal, since you don't want a video camera to be in the way all the time) -- and yet when we watched the video after the wedding, we were amazed at how much footage he caught that we didn't even realize he was around for! He had remarkably fast turn-around time so we could show my grandparents, and even went above and beyond to make us a beautiful short film in addition to our long full-coverage video. Everything is so wonderfully shot, with such great lighting; it just shows how great of an eye he has for capturing the right images and all the different emotions everyone has. We were especially impressed with his editing skills and how he was able to splice the footage together in such a way that it really told a story. I can't believe our luck at finding Spleeny Films, and will recommend him to any friends and family getting married in the area in the future. Words can not explain how happy my wife and I are with the product that Chris has delivered to us. Not only was the end result even better than we could have ever imagined, but the way he worked around our requests during our special day was phenomenal. Chris is a professional in every aspect...He arrived early, had plenty of cameras, extra batteries, worked around our schedules during and after our wedding to deliver the end result, and he even had a backup pair of shoes with him when one of his broke! The photographer we hired (not connected to/or recommended to us by Chris) was a different story. She made everything go her way and made it tough for Chris to get certain shots that he wanted, but you would never know by the end results. Our photographs look alright, while our video was breath taking. I can recall seeing our photographer quite often throughout the night, but only once spotted Chris. He is very ninja like. They are professionals and their equipment is legit! And now the BIG day...Yuki & Derrick arrived at our hotel early to setup their equipment in both the Groom & Bride's locations. She listened to all my questions and concerns and her pictures are gorgeous. As a bonus, her prices are entirely reasonable, especially in the expensive world of headshot photography. Also, she's not happy unless you're happy. It's an all-around, nice situation to be in. Sarah has a knack for capturing the raw moments in life. My mother insisted and offered to pay for this, of course I couldn't say no. She found grape video from doing research online and viewing the sample videos they had on their website. The first thing that sold me was the sample video on their site, and I hadn't even met them yet. When we went to sample their videos and see what kind of work they did and pricing Tommy sat us down (us meaning half my family, we're Mexican so you know everyone wants to tag along) :o) Tommy was very accommodating and showed us some more samples. After viewing the sample videos I knew I needed to have them at my wedding. I couldn't wait to see how they would capture my day. I was a 7/7/7 bride and luckily was able to book them on the spot. A year passed and my wedding day arrived. I swear I blinked once and it was all over. Everything I had stressed about for over a year over in an instance. i never even had the chance to look at the centerpieces on the guest tables. My one advice to all brides: You MUST have a videographer, and if you can get grape. They were able to capture every single moment of my day. I was so happy to be able to view it later and notice and see all the details I had missed on that day. The videographers were professional, on time, and from the video quality very experienced. I also have to commend the behind the scenes folks (the editors) for doing such a wonderful job of putting it all together. Great qualities: Flexible, let my mother pay in payments. Speedy turnaround, I had the video within two month. Very impressive considering I got married in the middle of July.

Because it took so long to get Danyelle had promised us a free gift with the album to make it up to us, but we never received anything. When I notified her it was the wrong color, she promise to fix it. It has now been another additional year of me nagging her with promises to get it fixed and nothing in return. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed to the point that sometimes even looking at my wedding photos makes me upset.
