No matter how much business I brought in, I was never treated respectfully & even turned away by him when I was having a piercing emergency. I walked in to get tatted spontaneously one day, and they tatted me a few hours later! I didn't have a specific artist in mind, however it was costly. I have many tattoos, and was charged over 200 for a tattoo that took less than 10 minutes (this may be due to my artist being a guest or visiting one). You pay for the cleanliness and level of artistry, so I would go back one day! Do your research on artists as well unless you want a very basic tattoo that doesn't require a sketch! read more

I called ahead of time asking about how much it would be for back dermals and belly button piercing. They gave me a set price, which I loved, I hate worrying about whether it'll be too much before getting there but having that transparency beforehand made me even more excited about getting my piercings. Dermals are $85 each so for my back $170 and then the belly button was $65. For me that was reasonably priced. I went in with my sister in law to get her back dermals as well and we were both attended by Joey. He was PHENOMENAL from beginning to end. He answered any questions we had, was very patient, during the piercing he let you know what he was doing before he did it. I got both of my piercings done that day and it took literally maybe 20-30 mins. Most of that time was him measuring my back dermals, he's a perfectionist !!!! They couldn't be nicer. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted very nicely and asked what we were in for. My boyfriend and I came in together on a whim. We were both looking for different things. I showed an artist what I wanted and they drew something up within 10 minutes. This place was pretty cool I got my nose ring changed - twice. The first time was a hoop that kept opening (which costed me $140). When that didn't work, I had to purchase another ring, one with a flat top that costs just as much. Otherwise, nothing negative to say about the business or workers. Friendly staff, reasonable prices (the same things are typically $20-$40 more at the place around the corner), and everyone is knowledgeable. She had to sign documents and show ID to prove that she was 18. The place is cleaned. Masks are on and every work station is sanitized. It was her first tattoo and I have a few . I went in for a small nose piercing and walked out a satisfied customer! Upon walking in I was​ greeted b Josean and assisted. The shop is cash only so I had to go to an ATM, but was serviced upon return. Josean prepped and cleaned all materials and explained each step of the process from start to care. We naturally discussed our backgrounds, previous piercings and music-I believe it was the artist's way of making me comfortable and calming my nerves​. Shop was clean & the people were really nice. The 2 stars are for how comfortable they made me. Because of that I let my guard down, & took a leap. It was my 1st tattoo. I had pictures of what I wanted & what I DID NOT want. I was very clear about what I hated. The outline they showed me was great as I was VERY clear that I didn't want it to be heavy or to have shading. If they had stuck to the outline I approved I would have loved it! Just light & simple, it didn't need to be colored in. I got what I didn't want. Really heavy & filled in with shading; plus bonus shading above it, and a random shadow for the middle - so part of the pattern has a shadow while the rest doesn't? it was heavy-handed, clumsy, & the shading didn't follow the tattoo (or physics). The edges are uneven although the outline they put on me wasn't. I keep it covered at all times. I don't want anyone to see it. I got my first tattoo on my birthday & for Christmas I'm starting tattoo removal treatments since it's so dark and heavy it would be hard to cover without blacking out my ankle. Then I'll do more research to get the art I want instead of the mess I have. I've got a few artists in mind once I get rid of what looks like a drunk night on the town in college. Unfortunately I was sober, & asked why it was so dark as soon as I saw it. I thought the "dynamic shading" was a smear of ink on the surface that just needed to be wiped off. Unfortunately it's on there. Make sure their art matches your style, & don't trust that they will step outside their preferred style to do the art you want (or listen to your requests about shading) just because it's on your body. They won't. I think if what I wanted matched the style they do everyday this would have worked out differently. Because the shop was clean and the after care instructions were clear it healed quickly & easily allowing me to set up the removal ASAP. read more

I got my nose pierced my Josean several weeks ago. While I waited, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Josean helped to calm my nerves, and explained every part of the procedure. I would have given 5 stars had I received some type of after-care instructions, or saline solution used to clean the piercing. They overcharged me for piercings. I walked in about 6 months ago, there was only one piercer present at the time, and was charged $200 for two piercings. I wasn't familiar with prices at the time, so I wasn't aware that it was so expensive, but after speaking to some friends after, I realized that I was charged way way too much. I am not a fan of negative reviews but I feel a sense of duty in writing this so others may not suffer the same fate as I. Mm hmm. I went in to get my septum pierced and worked with Jose. He was very gentle, amiable and professional. However, he pierced my septum too high on one side and came in low on the other - my left to right - causing the horseshoe ring to be very very crooked ie showing on one side more the the other. When I asked why it was crooked he said "it always is". I thought okay, he wouldn't lie to me. It's unnecessary to since this is obviously difficult to do, the truth will set you free blah blah blah or you might get a bad Yelp review! He charged me $60 ($10 more than what was quoted) and I tipped $20 cause that's just what you do. It was really bothering me as I looked at it throughout the day and I decided to visit another piercing parlor in NYC the next day after work and they confirmed that it was very crooked and not even close to pierced straight. Solution - take the ring out, let it heal for 3 weeks and then have it done again!! $80 down the drain. read more

Good, clean shop. Completely overpriced. I paid $190 for line work on a piece that was only a few inches. It only took maybe 20 minutes MAX. That's ridiculous. Base charge is too high as well. They didn't even tell me what the base charge was, nor was it posted anywhere. They also didn't mention the hourly fee. Went there on my 18th birthday to get a septum piercing. It was my first facial piercing (I've had my helix and my ears pierced) so I was very nervous. I was initially sent away, being told that the piercer wouldn't be in till 5pm. It irritated me but I waited then went back. I then was seated in the back of the room, with Thrasher, the piercer. He was nice enough and explained everything he was doing which reassured me. Everything was clean and he measure my nose which was nice. The piercing looks great. Went here about a few months ago. I was the only one there, so I was seen right away which was major plus. Only problem I had was that I was told the minimum was $90 and would be charged no more than that because my tattoo was extremely small. Only to be told that the price is $95 after I was finished( even though I planned on leaving a tip.). Then later to find out the minimum is only $80 (a $10 difference, it's the principle at the end of the day.) Overall, I love my tattoo.
