I called early in the day to find out about a septum piercing. I wish I was told in advance Kimberly who does the piercing doesn't come in until 3:30. I went earlier only to find that out. Came one late night in accompanying someone for a piercing and a tattoo. The gentleman tattooing approached us to assist. Unfortunately, we got there near closing time and couldn't get the tattoo done as someone was already on the table getting worked on. He explained how he was the only one tattooing at the moment and could not start another piece this evening but was more than happy to help us when we return. We asked if a piercing was something he can do at the moment and without hesitation he took us right in. He pierced the upper ear and did a great job. Went here a few months back to get my ears re-pierced. The place was clean with sanitizer and wipes at hand. The plus is the friendly staff! I ended up going back some time later to have my earrings switched out. Jessie took care of me and was great help. I'm not great with pain and she made sure I felt comfortable and was super chill. My husband's tattoo was nearly 20 years old. It used to be an alligator walking on skulls (I know your saying that picture doesn't show that lol). My husband is African American with medium brown complexion. So, she had her work cut out for her. You cannot see the original tattoo AT ALL. Plus, SHUT UP if his tattoo isn't the most amazing work of art. The details... THE DETAILS!!! I knew she would do a great job but the end result was so much more then he/we could have ever imagined. Jess worked for nearly 8 hours straight on his tattoo and she was worth every second in that chair and every dollar spent. I could write a novel about how amazing Jess is. Came here when I was 18 now 5 tattoos and 4 years later do not regret taking a chance. When i did my first tattoo I went only by how close it was to home. However i was lucky and got Jessie as my tattoo artist. Jessie made me feel comfortable and explained thoroughly about the after the care. I usually come randomly and yet she still remembers me. Jerzey ink is a chill spot in harrison, nj. The staff is one the friendliest I have been around. They take their time to cater to what the consumer wants. If you are into getting tattoos from flash sheets, they have a wide variety to choose from. They also (periodically) hold flash sales. For example, their Halloween flash sale was any small tattoo for 31 dollars. The decor has a skateboard shop feel with decks hanging on the walls and graffiti everywhere. It is pricey but the art work is worth it. read more

Jess has been doing my tattoos and piercings since I turned 18. I have eight tattoos in total, two of which I didn't get done by her and regret that I didn't. She has done all of my work for me, even touched up/corrected the two that she didn't do. She is the best there is!! I travel about forty-five minutes to get to the shop, but the drive is totally worth it. The shop is super clean, the other staff members are really chill, tattoo work/piercings are priced fairly, and plenty of parking is made available. If you're looking to get work done, big or small, go in and ask for Jess. I promise, you won't regret it. She's the best out there!! I never had an issue with my piercings or tattoos healing! They healed up 1-2-3. A couple of my tattoos even needed to be touched up after they were completely done healing, and she did it at no charge. She stands by her work 100%!! read more

I had went into this parlor for what most people would think are simple tattoos. I had asked for Old English font on my knuckles. The manager had set me up with Sebastian. I spelled it out for him and he had stenciled it on correctly. I checked, everything was fine. He then started to make minor adjustments, didn't speak much. He tattooed me, I paid generously and went on my way. Moments after I left the parlor, I checked my knuckles and the tattoo was spelled wrong. I ran back in hysterically. The manager, Javier, had assured me he would fix it. He said he would white it out and fix it with no additional cost. I set up an appointment and he did as promised. Javier had insulted my hair and attire multiple times in the presence of other customers which had made me highly uncomfortable. I had to stay due to my situation. He said this fix would take multiple visits. The next time I called to schedule an appointment, Javier had rescheduled multiple times and then ignored my calls. I would not recommend this parlor to anyone. Not only was I disrespected, but now I have to spend hundreds of dollars to fix my tattoo. read more
