He told me he was the owner. Completely rude older man and had zero compassion towards his customers. To make a long story very short. I took my car to get inspected there. They called me to tell me it could not pass inspection unless they remove my fog lights. Because there is no power to them and they had a tiny bit of condensation in them. Also over $1300 for a new exhaust from the cat back because of a hole the size of a dime. They told me to fix the fog lights "the cheapest and fastest way" (quoted directly from them and their pictures) was to remove the lights. They returned my car not inspected, and no lights. I took it to a real mechanic who is very honest with what the customers need. Trust me, I got lucky finding him. Finding a good honest mechanic shop these days are extremely rare. I had both the muffler welded the fog lights reinstalled and put in the new $2 dollar fuse. All together paid $137.00. The reason the lights did not work was because a fuse was blown. A $2.00 fuse. So I got charged $153.00 to take the lights out. When all it simply needed was a $2 fuse? Come on now. I was lied to and taken advantage of. Taken them out was clearly not the cheapest fix. I very nice and respectful calling the owner. I wish I could say the same for them. My wife and I will never be back and neither should any of you. If you're looking for a good honest mechanic, this place is the complete opposite of that. They have zero customer service. And the owners do not care at all. This place is definitely not for the people. Sadly I ran out of ways to correct the issue. I hope this saves some of you. Don't get ripped off and over charged as I did. So glad I didn't let them get me for more. But they will try with next one BEWARE!!!

They said if the check engine light came back on again to bring it in. Well Tuesday it did. Guess what another 700 it needs. We have been going to done right since we moved here. Never have I felt taken advantage of. I said to the person I have 4 kids and need some sort of reassurance this 700 will prevent it from crapping out on the Highway. They replied " you are asking me to be able to look in a crystal ball". I don't feel like I am I just would like to know I won't be in next week again. They said the car looks like it's never had a tune up which is weird because I've taken it to them since I bought it in 2019. I'm not sure what they missed or maybe I didn't ask the right questions. But I definitely feel like something is wrong. I told them to do the repairs. Unfortunately since that's the only car that fits all of us we don't have time to get a second opinion. I handed them problems with a 1990s Dodge Caravan and Ford Taurus that should have ended with either of them towed to a scrap yard. Anyone else would have given up. Greg knew that my family was on a budget and we were not in a position to buy, so he was honest about what HAD to be done, what SHOULD be done, and how much it would cost just to keep us safe and legal. He made sure to keep our bill managable and explained problems to us in simple English. All the work was done promptly and correctly. The few times there were delays, someone was on the phone to me with updates. They not only completely removed the rust, but deciphered where the rust was coming from and told us about the problem so we could get it fixed by a window repair company. They had the truck for two business days and kept us informed with emails and pictures of the work being done on both days. The truck looks brand new in a spot that was showing some age beforehand. Long story short - their head mechanic didn't know how to check oil properly on her Nissan crossover? (name escapes me) Three times in the shop and they tell her the oil is over full. I go in, act dumb and ask if they could show me how to check the oil since I got blamed for it anyway "your dad is over filling it" Stooge pulls dip stick and proclaims "see overfill again by twice" Me - "flip that dip stick over" Dude had no words because the other side had NOTHING on it because they drained 5 quarts the day before because "it was overfilled" I promptly asked the gentleman "if you toss a stick in a bucket of oil, is it possible to only get oil on one side of said stick?" Note: these cars/engines have an oil drain back hole directly above the dip stick which covers it with oil several inches up the stick, on one side. Even a moron knows to wipe the stick and reinstall to check and look at both sides. A not-so-certified village idiot should know these cars are best checked after they have sat awhile, regardless this poor village idiot was happy to run out 5 minutes after we arrived and check it without ever having a towel in mind. Way to go imbecile. Needless to say, it never left the place and the motor was hammering because they told her to run it and I want putting oil in it again for them to blame me for overfilling. A few days later we stopped in and find in an attempt to get the warranty co to pay for a motor, they blew it up. The one lucky actually told us what they were doing. Obviously totally oblivious to the fact he was saying they were trying to commit insurance fraud. Good luck if you go here or if, like my kid, AutoMax sends you here because their shop is backed up. These geniuses will fix your vehicle right up like Dewey, Cheatum & Howe, attorneys at law would fix you up on legal issues. Well, that statement isn't fair. My car broke down (transmission failure) on a road trip, and I pulled off into Leb-Myer's lot on a Sunday night. I stayed at a nearby hotel, and went there first thing in the morning. They started taking a look at it and gave me a ride back to my hotel. They even drove me to go get lunch. Once they figured out the problem, they worked hard on it and got it done much faster then expected. Even though they close at 5:00, Brent (the fantastic owner) stayed until 6:30 to finish up the repairs so I could get back on the road one day sooner and avoid having to stay in town for another night. They kept in touch about their progress and never made any big decisions without asking me what I thought first and offering to set me up with a local transmission specialist in case I wanted a second opinion. In the end, the bill was quite reasonable and much lower than I expected. I couldn't have broken down in front of a better mechanic! I just wished I lived closer so I could come here regularly.
