The story: We were looking for a used suv that had AWD, low miles, comfortable price, and seated seven. ( we have a teen daughter and are always driving, picking-up, dropping-off her and her friends. ) So we were at Ebersole Bros. and we met sales consultant Barry Fornwalt. Barry was nice, approachable and knowledgeable on all the cars we looked at. But most importantly he was not pushy nor was using those sales lines like, "let's crunch some numbers", or "let me talk to the manager". In fact he didn't hover at all. He let us browse and come to him when we chose one to test drive (there were 3). *One didn't have AWD, *the other was great but it had no ...'je ne sais quoi' to it. And the *third was great too and had style. We test drove the three, Barry answered all of our question & concerns. So we decided we would think on it. Add it to the list of other dealerships and cars we liked. A couple days later as I drive through my own neighborhood I saw an *suv and I thought 'huh, we never looked at those'. A Google search showed a nice one at a dealership close to us. It met all our parameters and I even liked the color. Only thing was we wished to buy from Barry and Ebersole. So we called Barry, explained the situation and he said "no problem. We'll buy it off of them and you buy it off of us. Same price". I think it took a couple of days but it was very well worth it. So in closing, if your looking for a pre-owned car or truck check out Ebersole Bros. and ask for Barry Fornwalt. *I didn't disclose the suv brands mainly because I didn't want to sway anyone's opinion one way or the other.

Thanks to Moisess Trujillo, she is now out an additional $1000 for car repairs that were not disclosed at the purchase. Not even 24 hours later, the jeep would not drive, and the so called issue of dirty gas that we were warned about as the "only" thing wrong? Not even close. Everything from rusted out wheel bearing, to broken grounds in the oxygen sensor ciruit, our mechanic says that this vehicle is going to be nothing but problem after problem with pricy fixes. We are so disappointed with this jeep and not happy feeling like this company took advantage of us as well as a young girl. If they had gotten the jeep looked at as they claimed, there is no way it should have been sold. I will not be recommending this company or ever be willing to do repeat business with them.

While they didn't have the exact tool I needed to get the job done, they were able to improvise and get the hitch securely put together. I would have been in a hell of a bad spot if it wasn't for Route 61 Auto, Truck & Equipment.

During a roadtrip, we hit something on the highway that damaged our splash guard on the underside…read moreof my truck. I was dragging it for miles before spotting it when we got off the highway for a rest break. A man in the service center where we stopped saw my troubled face and came out to recommend Jeck's. We drove down and told them our plight and they immediately took us in. They removed the damaged splash guard as it wasn't worth trying to save and he replaced a couple of clamps that he saw had rusted away. Then he checked our tires when he thought one was low. Now there are service centers that might take advantage of an opportunity like this but not here! Jeck's is proof that there are still good and honest people in this world. The bill was next to nothing! I don't usually tip at car repair shops but I told them to keep the change! If I was local, this is the place that would be servicing my vehicles! God bless!

Hubby was going to order the taillight from a dealer to the tune of $60. Me, being the tightwad that I am insisted we search junkyards first. Our other son suggested Tri-Town and I'm thankful that he did! While Tri-Town does not pull the parts for you (you do it yourself - bring your own tools) they "probably" would for a fee however I didn't confirm this. Thankfully the "grounds" are pretty organized. Honda's in one row, Chevy's in another, and so forth. We had no problem finding the 1996 part we needed to the tune of only $15!!! While there we also grabbed the mirror he needed as well. Both parts came in at only $35, much less than the dealer price for just the one! As a female it is hard to get excited about a junkyard but I've been to many in my day and this one is like no other. Most of the cars here weren't wrecked (had blown engines, etc) and were late models. The grounds weren't overgrown and the cars were arranged in a way that not only was it easy to find what you needed, but also easy to navigate around the vehicles. I didn't see any "critters" or webs but it could be because it's still cold. There was a port a potty in the "yard". They also had wagons you could borrow to carry your loot. Since it snowed last week the grounds were muddy and I was glad I removed my heels beforehand. Regardless of the weather I would strongly encourage proper footwear when visiting. The young owners just took over the property in June 2017 and were still making improvements. They also buy cars. I'm not sure what their payout would be but it's nice to known if you have a hoopty with a blown engine or transmission laying around. Definitely worth a visit for interior parts, moldings, seats, lights, bumpers, and the like.
