We contacted Lee who was incredibly personable and made time to meet with us on Memorial Day. Since we are new to this first time parenting thing we ran a little late but Lee was welcoming and made us feel comfortable by saying "the baby dictates the session." When it came to the shoot itself, Lee was creative with her shots and incorporated us as much as possible. She additionally allowed us to bring in some of our own ideas. In the end, we loved the shoot and can't wait to see the final product. Not only were his pictures absolutely breathtaking but his overall professionalism with a personalized touch can't be beat. Jon went out of his way several times to accommodate our needs. He drove from Cape Cod to Boston to meet with us and offered to make the trip as many times as necessary. On the wedding day he was right on time and stayed later than he had to in order to get all the shots for us. All of my guests raved about how friendly he was. He also offered many wonderful ideas for shots, poses, lighting, effects and backgrounds. Jon is a very skilled photographer and has a gift for visualizing the end results of a picture before it's taken. Even now, over a month after the wedding he is in constant communication with us and guiding us through the ordering process with a lot of patience for our many, many questions. Jon also sent us our wedding photos on a high quality disc in less than two weeks! That is unheard of!!! His prices for his service, the prints and albums are extremely reasonable, after using Jon for our wedding I would gladly pay triple in the future. During my search for a wedding photographer I found John from Stainbrook Photography. Right away I knew that he would be a great match for us. His prices were very reasonable and he took the time to meet with us in person to get a feel for what we wanted beforehand. On the day of the wedding John captured every moment that was special to me, from my sons helping me with my shoes, to the expression on my husband's face when he first laid eyes on me that day. He captured all the tiny details from my wedding as well. He stayed with us for 6 hours and really did a fantastic job. John is kind, patient and just an overall nice guy. I've ordered mini accordion albums from him, as well as, wedding albums for our parents and our own wedding album. If you are in need of a great, reasonably priced wedding photographer - Stainbrook Photography is the way to go.

Being from Cali, all of our best family pics seem to be local or in Hawaii. Rarely would I consider hiring a photographer for something like this (that's for weddings right?) but hey, we were on vacation. And try as I might - I just couldn't capture that Massachusetts/East Coast beachy vibe I wanted. So I asked the concierge if there were any local photogs they recommended, and he said Nicole was the best. We met her the next day, and she was truly lovely. She suggested several locations, spent 2 hours with us, and we had a blast. But even better? The pictures were STUNNING. Not only did we have the perfect holiday card, but we ended up with the best grand-parent gifts ever (I uploaded the image on Shutterfly). Nicole was sweet, fun, & made us all feel like we had been friends forever. Even my teen boys were game & loved the pics. I've always believed that the camera lens can capture a spirit. What I have grown to realize is…read morethat a camera lens can in fact capture the spirit, but its the photographer that really presents that in print. More goes into one photo then just simply 'point and shoot'. Lighting, color, depth, personality, spirit (of both the photographer and the subject,) vision, artistic expression and heart. Nicole's photography is thoughtful and fun. She is truly a professional. She's willing to all kinds of lengths to get THAT photo. She knows how to get people's best. She allows people to be exactly who they are and get comfortable. Her photos are unique (not "cookie cutter") and warm. I dont know that people know the true talents of a photographer anymore (thinking they can do the same on the Iphone-I disagree). Photographers are artist, and professionals, and they spend a good amount of time with their subjects to try and get the kinds of photos that can live for ever for those clients.
