I stopped in over the weekend to grab several paint samples because, admittedly, I'm a little indecisive when it comes to picking colors. After trying a few at home, I still couldn't make up my mind -- so I went back today and picked up four more samples. Each time I visited, the staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions. A special shoutout to Jacob, who went above and beyond by carrying my purchases out to my car for me -- such a kind and thoughtful gesture that you definitely don't see at the big box stores, where you're lucky if you can even find someone to help you! Recently had a plumber doing a tile shower for me and he was having a terrible time drilling through the tile to mount the shower frame. I handed him my Bauer heavy duty drill (from Harbor Freight of course) and he was shocked how fast and easy that drill finished the holes in those ceramic tiles. I love the selection of so many items at such low prices. The return policy at Harbor Freight is excellent so I never worry if something I buy there doesn't work out. Best of all; you don't have to chase down help at their store. They help you anyway they can... Just tonight I stopped by there (Richardson store) to get some things I saw online but one of the items was not on the shelf. A young employee (think his name was Dominic) went through a big search for me and found the items in the back. And then I almost walked off without my wallet, but he quickly saw it on the shelf and told me. Harbor Freight is a clean, well organized, well stocked store with very affordable prices and employees that always offer excellent help.

In April 2025, I purchased five different kinds of Dizzy Pig seasonings while picking up an order…read moremy wife had placed for some chlorine. I collected the chlorine from the front desk and made a separate purchase for the seasonings. I didn't use the seasonings until this weekend when I fired up my smoker. It was then that I noticed the "best by" date was from May 2023. While I understand that a "best by" date is just a guideline, two years past that date is quite excessive. I called the store to request an exchange but was told "NO" due to their 30-day policy, which I understand. However, the "manager" repeatedly informed me that seasonings don't expire; they just lose their smell, potency, and flavor. He emphasized multiple times that they were not "expired." Having cooked for over 20 years, I know what happens to seasonings past their prime. When they lose their intended qualities, I typically discard them as they no longer serve their purpose. So, I ask you this: What do you buy seasonings for? The smell? The flavor? The potency? All of these attributes diminish over time. The fact that this store sells products with dates from two years ago is quite concerning. Since the manager offered no assistance, I will be leaving reviews to inform the public that this location sells outdated products and is inflexible with their "policy."

Explained cleaning and what they do as they own the smoker I got. We had to order and I knew exactly when the order needed to be in, when the store would receive it and what day was pick up. It was ready a day ahead of what they said. We got there about 5 min prior to closing but were so nice waiting til the truck arrived to load it (SIL was getting off work and rushing over). Even though it was after closing they loaded it and I never heard a harsh remark or saw a roll of eyes. Definitely will always see if I can buy from them as needed.

I came here early on a Saturday and was very glad to learn that they open up at 8 o'clock in the…read moremorning. I needed some parts for a faucet that I am rebuilding, and this was the only place that I knew of that might have what I needed. I am not an expert in rebuilding faucets or the parts but thankfully, these people are! I came in and had my old parts with me, and they knew exactly where to go and what to get to fix what I needed. I had my parts in no time and some guidance on how to perform the repair. It is almost impossible to come in here for the parts section and not be lured into the show room. In fact, it's a big open gateway from the parts area to the show room and so it's kind of natural to wander into there. When I did that was when I was met by a sales person named, Mariam. I have a kitchen faucet situation where the faucet that is in my kitchen that needs to be replaced is kind of an old-school faucet, and I have had difficulty finding options to replace it and yet I want to replace it with something similar because of the holes that are drilled in my granite countertops. Mariam was quick to find me solutions and even had a few different options that I can go with. She was knowledgeable and helpful and very pleasant to work with. I have not yet fully decided what I'm going to do, so I held back from ordering one on this particular visit, but I will not hesitate to come back either for the parts to rebuild my old one like I am doing with the bathroom faucet or buy a entire new faucet.
