The place is clean and organized. The owner is methodical. The pricing is okay. But she is also rude and tries to argue with you for no reason. She does not communicate well. Does not really smile and she is unfriendly. I like service with a smile. So just saying. She also is so worried about risk, liability and complaints that she is vague about any question you ask her--even general questions. I have been there about 20 times in the past 6 years and each time I go, I sense a disconnect and scorn from her for no reason. I dont get it. I give my business to a lot of people, and have good relations with anyone I give my money to. My usual tip is between 20 to 30% --but when I go there, I just dont feel like tipping anymore. Each time I hope to see a glimmer of customer service from her, and each time I am disappointed. I even told her it was my birthday the next day, and she said NOTHING. Totally dismissive of my requests or comments and non-communicative. She needs a lesson in setvice with a smile and communication. Meh. She also it seems tries to price gouge a bit when she can. It is noticeable when she forgets that she has quoted a different price before. Walked away a bit unhappy with the attitude, not necessarily her "work". read more

I'm so glad I found this place on Yelp! I love getting my brows threaded and was hoping to find a no frills kind of place and this spot came up as one closest to me. I've been here twice and both times have been great! I get my brows threaded and it takes about 5 minutes from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave. They also offer you aloe vera at the end to help with any swelling. This shop is your typical-sized brow threading shop with about five chairs and a few workers. Have frequented Prachi's salon for years! Knew her prior to her opening up this salon, when she worked at another salon. She is very sweet, always flexible and accommodating, on my last minute needs. The salon has minimal decor and, importantly, is very clean. She does great eyebrow threading , waxing, facials, etc. Plenty of parking. read more

Any time I need my brows threaded, I go here. Prachi has had this business for 6 years now, but has an overall experience of 18+ years. Every time I go, it was a pleasant experience. Even with walk-ins, the service is pretty fast. All ladies there are nice. Prachi is the only one who does waxing & she's amazing. Today, I went in for Eyebrow threading, tinting, and a Brazilian wax ($25 first time, then $35.) Everything came out to be $54. European wax would charge me a minimum of $65 per wax. Could hear the other person on the other line yelling. Once she finished her call, she resumed playing music, asked how I was and had me sanitize my hands before service. Did not go wash her hands after mopping the floor and just used bottled sanitized from the counter. Associate said she doesn't make shape, just threads around what is there. Was nervous to get my brows threaded because one recently started thinning and not growing back in spots and it's been years since I've had my eyebrows professionally done as I was trying to grow that one back in fully. The brow artist did a great job making my non uniform brows look very similar, and making them nice and clean and arched as requested. My only complaint is that it looked like a part of my upper left brow was missing after my session. When I get my eyebrows threaded I only ever come here and I drive about 30+ minutes. The ladies here a nice and attentive, it's clean and quaint. *****DO NOT RECOMMEND***** I have been a loyal customer to this salon for over a year. Despite a few bad encounters I continued to support this business. However, today was the last time I will be attending this salon. I went in to get my brows done, the person who helped did not show any customer service etiquete since I walked in. I was specific on what I wanted, however, I got the opposite. She threaded my brows in about 2 minutes and left them very thin, after I specifically asked for a "clean up only" no shape. Usually, they guide you on when to hold and let go of your brows, however, she didn't even try. She just threaded. She handed me the mirror and when I expressed they were very thin and was not what I asked for her response was "no they're not". She did not take any responsibility and adamantly stated "they're not thin". She did not ask how she could fix it, or any suggestions on how to address it. My brows were left uneven, thin, didn't offer cooling gel and was unable to say anything. It's taken me months to grow out my brows and she carelessly disregarded what I asked for and messed up my brows. I paid for the service and left. Very unhappy. read more

This place is the worst. They fucked up my eyebrows. They are so loud in asking for tips and getting people Embarrassed. On weekends they will do a half ass job to get more customers. I stopped coming here a while ago. I waited a long while to write this review as the incident really frustrated me. Had an extremely rude encounter with someone working there - not Prachi. She attempted to "shoe" me out after arriving 20 mins prior to closing. I told her I drove a while, needed my brows done for an event, and the place was empty anyways. She angrily agreed to thread my eyebrows. She cut my skin in a few different locations of my brows to where they had small blood - size of a thin needle. Felt like she was doing it on purpose. Then cherry on top, my eyebrows looked terrible. I went home and tweezed the rest myself. I don't remember her name, but she had what looked like vitiligo. I have a few places in south Orange County (Westminster and Costa Mesa) that I try to go to when I'm in those areas. Frequently, I don't have the time to make a trip down there, so I go to Prachi Threading to at least get a bit cleaned up. I like Prachi Threading because it's not super-far from where I live. Parking is simple since it's in the same shopping center as Ralphs. Price for threading for regular customers is $7, but I think they have a special for new customers' first visit to be $5 for threading. The shop is clean. The staff is nice and professional. The actual service is okay, in my opinion. I get more of a cleanup than a shaping because of my light brows, but my eyebrows are beginning to look more like straight dashes instead of curving. Sometimes, there are a few strands that don't get picked up, so it's not always a great cleanup; I may have to tweezer the remaining ones when I get home. Waxing is decent. No waxing is ever painless, and they do thread off any remaining hairs that don't get picked up from the waxing. But I always get ingrown hairs afterwards despite my typical care of not wearing antiperspirants or anything that can clog up the pores. Overall, it's okay, and I'll probably continue to visit due to convenience and being used to the salon. They also have a stamp card, so a few more visits until I get a free threading! read more

I came to yelp and found this place. I don't regret it at all. I forgot to asked for the ladys name but she was helpful. It was my doing lips and it hurt like a b**ch but she said after the third time i will get use to it. I told her I just want my eyebrows clean because last time I had them done lady messed them up. First time getting my eyebrows threaded (I know) and it was such a great experience! My sister and I were actually heading over to Boston Market for dinner at around 7pm but noticed a sign that said "Free eyebrow threading" and immediately headed over to scope it out. Prachi (the owner) greeted us and was able to squeeze us in before closing up the shop for the day. It was also their first day of grand opening so they had some goods laying out for customers to munch on. The actual threading experience hurt like hell for me since it was my first time...but the result was amazing! Not sure if you can tell in the pictures, but in person it was definitely noticeable. She started with giving me hand sanitizer and used some herself, which is great to see to avoid extra germs from touching your face.
