I'm in the I don't usually do review camp unless I've found a gem that's almost too good to be true so I want to share the wealth here! My flume device alerted me that I had a leak at 0.02gal/ min and for the life of me I couldn't find the leak so I called in the expert! Daniel and Wesley came over and we came to the conclusion that it's the water line under the driveway between the main and the house and they gave me an estimate on the spot that was so reasonable that I didn't even bother getting a second or third quote from others. I had such a terrible experience of dealing with "extremely popular" plumber before on yelp that quoted me over $3k a whole day job to replace a water regulator when the next guy did it for 1/4 the price in an hour. Just a quick chat with Daniel and Wesley I knew they were already completely honest, super easy to work with and best of all, finished the job like they were never here! I spent a great deal of time and money keeping my house nice and curb appeal worthy (think hiring people to power wash driveway and roof and regularly have all windows cleaned) so I let them know please don't cut into the driveway and save my plant! They were the third plumber I hired to fix our main drain blockage. The previous two plumbers only cleared a single section where tree roots had intruded, but the overall issue was never fully resolved. Daniel and Wesley came out promptly on the first day and provided a clear quote upfront. They started by locating the main drain line. After opening up a section of brick in the backyard, they discovered it was completely filled with concrete. Once they broke through the concrete, they were only able to locate a T-pipe that was not actually connected to the main line. They then used a sewer camera along with running water to carefully trace the line inch by inch. After a very thorough and methodical search, they finally located the true main drain. They opened up another section of brick and concrete, exposed the pipe, and used a hydro jetter to completely clear out all the tree roots. Our drainage system is now working properly again. The job was complex and required them to return on the second and third consecutive days to fully complete the work. They were persistent and committed to solving the issue properly. After everything was finished, they also carefully placed the bricks back in position. In addition, they helped locate three other drain outlets that had been covered by grass for years. Daniel and Wesley work extremely well as a team, and both are professional and friendly. Their pricing was fair and transparent, and they honored their original quote with no surprise charges. I originally called for a free consultation because I noticed some warping of my drywall and was concerned there was water dripping from a leaky toilet. Called and scheduled an appointment for a few days later. The day of the appointment, the employees gave advanced notice with an ETA and showed up on time. The employees looked into the issue and offered paid services to provide a fix. They explained what they thought the issue was (toilet was not fully centered/seated correctly) and the proposed fix (repositioning). I appreciated that they tried not to damage or remove flooring more than they needed to when they were fixing the issue. They also gave some guidance on patching up the wall (we had ripped out some dry wall to figure out how much water damage there was before deciding to hire a plumber). The whole visit took about 2 hours. Overall, I am satisfied with the service and would recommend to others. read more

Practical Plumbing I recently purchased a 100year old home and with that said anyone I call for plumbing or water etc. is over priced or will not want to even touch the house as it can become a bigger problem. I Brought in a handyman to spruce up a few things, he found a leak behind the wall and said it was out of his expertise so I should call a plumber. I called my realtor asked if She had any recommendations. She recommended Practical Plumbing as she had done business with Daniel in the past . Daniel came out and on my handyman's word he fixed the leak were it was recommended. Because it is an old house he recommended I keep an eye on it and if the issue got worse he will come out and check it out again. The leak came back and Daniel was able to find the problem and was able to fix the issue accordingly. In another plumbing issue outside my house I knew exactly who to call. I called Daniel, he and Wes came out fixed the pipe that was leaking outside, removed some unnecessary pipes that were being brought in from another area that was put in by the previous owner. Plumbing prices are always stressful and expensive but their price for the job they did was fair. You might take a chance searching for cheaper but you take a chance on quality and reliability. I am sure many others would charge more. They dug over 3 1/2 feet and jack hammered a small boulder sitting on top of the broken main line. They got down the narrow deep hole to reach and repair the broken PVC pipe, filled the hole, replaced our landscaping rocks and cleaned up like nothing ever happened. On September 25, 2025, Practical Plumbing (Daniel and Wesley) arrived and assessed the leak dripping from my TV room ceiling (first floor). They inspected the upstairs master bedroom and return. They gave me a fair quote (inspection work estimate-----rolled- over to the repair) prior to any dry wall cutting. After shutting off the water, they made entry to ceiling and determined the leak was from cooper piping just above the damaged source. They explained the short and long term (house +30 YRS.) future consequences for my home's plumbing system. After settling up, they emailed me an invoice detailing the work completed. Wesley and Daniel just came to my house to give me their opinion on a jerry rigged gas line that was fed off of my water heater into my fireplace that was done by prior owners. I am a first time home owner and wanted to just make sure everything was safe to use. These gentlemen came on time, gave me a 30 minute heads up phone call and went above and beyond with service. Not only were they honest in telling me that there was nothing to be done and that my fireplace was safe to use (they could have easily lied to get some business), but they went around the entire house checking all my gas appliances for leaks, saving me the trouble of having the gas company come out. On their way out, I wanted to ask their opinion about my garden hose water spigot that was leaking, they took a look for free and told me how to easily fix it by myself without making the excuse to charge me to fix it themselves. I want to post a review for these guys because they were an absolute blessing to my family and I. it's always a total nightmare when something goes wrong with anything plumbing related and I needed this fixed fast. My water heater started making these crazy sounds it literally sounded like explosions and my water wasn't getting hot or would barely last half way through one shower! I started searching for nearby plumbers and after the fifth call I was done. The quotes I was receiving were absolutely outrageous and I just couldn't afford it. I started losing hope and trying to find an alternative route until one of my good friends recommended these guys to me. I figured I'd give it a shot.
