Needed to reach out again for our continued issue. There is a back unit built on a garage so this time, they went through that plumbing. Discussed potential future fixes for current minor concerns and for now, found a plastic piece in the pipes that could be what's been causing our ongoing issue. Also, just over time, these pipes got greasy from grease that can get down the sink from even just cleaning dirty plates. Our 1st and quickest option was a jet flow process. We did this and it did clean out the pipes and got that plastic piece out. We are continuing to monitor our situation and discussing future needs for the pipes anyways but per usual, Always Ready Plumbing and Drain was amazing. I have to give this company some big love because it's so appreciated to find honest, reasonably priced, prompt and super caring plumbers... or for any service for that matter. Our water heater at our Lake Arrowhead home decided it was time to call the mortician and we made some calls to local plumbers and were told that even though their website says they are open on Saturdays, we would be required to pay a $360 'emergency fee' that would not be applied towards our service. We decided not to gamble on getting our water heater repaired since parts would need to be ordered and we didn't want to wait, we just wanted to get a new one. Local plumbers wanted in the $4,500 range in addition to the emergency fee. That didn't sit well so I looked further out down the mountain and called Always Ready and they weren't kidding! The owner, Richard, answered after we woke him up, provided sensible answers to our questions and quoted us around $2,600 for a new 50 gallon water heater - and they could get to us in 2 hours. Robert and Jay were super professional, extremely polite and got our old water heater out and the new one in without skipping a beat. We were blown away by how painless this was. The good news is that these Always Ready dudes really are always ready, even on weekends, but the bad news is that they will charge you twice as much as normal if you call them on a holiday or a weekend. I learned that the hard way. We had a sewage system back-up on a holiday weekend and they came to our rescue right away. They couldn't find our clean-out on the property, so they simply built a new one, which turned out not to even be necessary. My regular plumber was unfortunately not available at the time, and he called them to complain about their prices after they had charged me $3,000 for a $1,500 job that wasn't really even necessary. To be fair, Always Ready did refund $500 to me after my regular plumber talked to them, but they were still $1,000 over the standard price-tag to install a new clean-out. Yes, these dudes will show up for you when no one else will, but they will charge you double on a weekend or holiday. So bottom line: Please utilize these guys only as a last resort and only if your regular plumber is not available, and be prepared to pay double the going rate. read more

I called them for the backed-up drains in my bathrooms. I had another company out a few weeks back who "blew out" the shower but wanted to sell me on a complete repiping job that would be done through the walls of my house, which they mistakenly assumed were drywall! When I told them my walls were plaster in this older home, and that they'd be lucky to even find a plasterer AT ANY COST they got more subdued. This time when the drain plugged I called Always Ready partly for their location and availability, but mostly for their Yelp ratings. I wasn't disappointed. Ray ended up being here about 2.5-3 hours, even had his manager Ray bring out a better machine to clear the blockage. He spent time patiently explaining an alternative "pipe rehabilitation" procedure that didn't tear into my walls, along with financing options.
