I recently contacted Top Notch Rooter & Plumbing due to a leak under the kitchen sink. I initially spoke to Frank who immediately scheduled an appointment for someone to come out that afternoon. Put out for a quote on Yelp, Frank was the third plumber I talked to he was at my house in 30 minutes. He had to do a Hydro jet service. He was at my house for maybe 45 minutes . Top Notch Plumbing was my last of four quotes, and I'm so glad they came out. Before I even mentioned the price from the previous companies, Frank Valdez laid out a complete plan, details on what would be done, and pricing. VERY GOOD PRICING. There was no haggling, no pushy sales tactics, just straight-up "here is what we can do, and how much we can do it for." Long story short, they won the bid and were at the door two days later at 7:00 AM. I got a whole-home re-pipe (two bathrooms), and it was completed on the first day in about six hours. The patching came the next day and was completed in about five hours. I hope this review saves consumer time and money. It's important to me to protect my money, but I also understand business requires a profit - or why do it? Top Notch was fair in their pricing. For transparency, below are the other four companies that came out. I have listed them in order of most expensive to least, and with some side notes for insight. First Class Plumbing and Rooter - By far the most expensive, excessively expensive. It took me less than a second to realize I was being overcharged. Top Tier Plumbing and Rooter - also excessively expensive. Option One Plumbing & Rooter, Rancho Cucamonga - more reasonable, however, still on the high end. I enjoyed working with the staff at Top Notch Plumbing to have some plumbing work done on my 47-year old home about a week ago. Frank gave me a good price and the work was done well and done quickly. I do prefer to give my business to local independent companies rather than large corporate entities whenever I can. And they definitely proved themselves capable of handling the various tasks I contracted with them for, with everything being done to comply with code requirements. Carlos worked very hard digging the deep trench in the hardpan soil in my Yucaipa yard in order to fix a "belly" in my sewer pipe and install a new clean-out because the one I had was buried so deep nobody could ever find it, and it was cast iron. The clean-out was also moved inside my planter so it is more easily located now whenever it is needed. I do appreciate all that hard, dirty work very much. I had some hydro-jetting done as well, both on the main sewer line and outside my kitchen. Then he also did a few improvements on the inbound side, putting in a shutoff valve where the main water line comes into the house and adding a few improvements to how things were set up for my water heater and ice maker. Everything was cleaned up nicely afterwards. I would for sure recommend Top Notch Plumbing based on my positive experience with them, and I won't hesitate to use them again if I have any more plumbing work to be done. read more

The pressure valve union broke. I'm a diy kinda guy, but i could not find the parts to fix this problem (house is 35yo). I could see the old galvanized pipes were very rusty. I asked how much to fix and the plumber $2000. I told them that seemed like a lot. He said he would check on something. Called me back and said he could for $1000. I, at that point, had lost trust. I still paid them $89 service fee. I had another plumber out who fixed a valve, not the overflow, as well as several other items, for $625.
