Very clean, well priced, organized and sweetly staffed. I will always remember my only stop at this shop. I was shopping nearby in the heat of August and was denied use of their ladies facilities. I'm in my 70's, use a walker and am on diuretics My ride had left to run errands so I was stuck. The ladies at the Perfect place were not working but preparing for a special sale. I was warmly welcomed even though they were closed and spent some time gathering gifts for friends little ones. My grandchildren are unfortunately too old for this shop. I asked where I could purchase water and was graciously handed a cold water bottle I should have posted this a long time ago but the "other shop" was brought up in conversation--never again! Large store with a nice layout, but super expensive for what they are selling. I shop consignment all the time for my kids and this is the priciest secondhand shop I've ever seen. $10 for a slightly faded Gymboree dress when anyone could easily buy something new at Gymboree for that price during a sale. No thank you. They have a large selection of children's shoes, but again, prices were very high. They were selling a well worn pair of Keens for $25. That's about half of what you would pay for new Keens, but for $25 they shouldn't look like some kid wore them daily until he outgrew them. I wish there were more children consignment options in Westerly or a stronger buy and sell FB presence. Practically Perfect has been around for a while, so obviously some people like them, I just don't see what the allure is. read more

Cute store with a fantastic selection of gently used children's items. The staff are friendly, helpful, and ask fair prices for the goodies they sell. There is always a treasure to be found. They offer a come back coupon with purchases, an added plus. Be sure to check the sales sign of the day and shop by the tag colors for the lowest prices. read more

Dropped off hundreds of dollars worth of boxes of brand new items with tags from Gymboree and Babies R Us. The owner was "on vacation" at the time and they said they would input my items later and they had no way to give me a list of my consigned goods. Very big red flag #1. I had a list myself so didn't say anything - but felt uneasy nevertheless. Two weeks later, still no call from anyone at the store. Red flag #2. I called several times before getting a message from the owner who said they had tried to call me (uh no they did not). Still no update on my items as "they haven't been put into the computer yet". More weeks go by - I call, and some items were "put out on the floor" but they claim most were still in the back room due to manual labor shortage. It is now MONTHS later - and I have not received a single call from anyone there with an update on my items. Outrageous and unprofessional behavior. I have dealt with various consignment shops and have NEVER been treated this way. The fact that they "can't" give you a printout or summary of your consigned items is CRAZY and very suspicious... then no follow up on sales??? I saw a few negative reviews from other consignors but hoped this wasn't the case. Please - stay AWAY from this consignment shop. Dishonest, lazy and rude staff. Unprofessional to the extreme. At this point I have no idea where my items are. read more

This is by far my favorite place to shop for my grandson. The store is immaculate, the prices are more than fair and the clothing is as good as new.... If not better ( recent new article from a retailer had a hole in the sleeve). I stop by frequently and always find something special. The staff couldn't be nicer. Love this place!!! read more

Consignment stores pull from large areas--they even publish a brochure with statewide listings and locations. Traveling long distances, I, an older consumer, am often denied use of a bathroom. Owners, like this one, give off "attitude" that somehow my request is unreasonable. They get snotty, tell lies about the bathroom being "out of order" (where are they tinkling?), or act as "victims" because of their small septic system. I DON'T CARE--I NEED A BATHROOM! And I've traveled a long distance to reach YOUR store! That's why I loathe this particular store--they don't care about you or me, they just want your moola...grrr! read more

Staff is nice and the store sells nice things, but the prices are crazy for consignment. Lucky Brand 2T shorts there for 26.00, went to TJ Maxx the same day and saw the same shorts with a matching shirt for 12.99, 1 Born Free Glass bottle there 8.00, just bought a 3 pack at Target for 13.00. Not sure why everyone seems to like them so much, the prices are crazy. read more

A clean shop with friendly and helpful staff. They welcome you and your child and want to know you. However, they are dishonest, unfortunately. I consigned numerous clothing and equipment in September, went back in October I had $122.00 in my account, used 12$. Went back in November I only have $48....... wondering where my money went. Very unfortunate. To top it off I had to keep my eyes on my children while being rang out and numerous items were pink tag items but because I wasn't there insisting the pink tags are 40% off I didn't receive my percentage off. Disgusting. This is also the second time this has happened, they didn't take the percentage off. So it's not a fluke I feel it's something they choose to do. If you remind them "oh yes of course" but if not it's your loss. Let's not forget they're super expensive on used items!!!! One used out of season onsie is $4.50! What! Their strollers used and banged up are $100.00-$500.00. Doesn't make any sense. The place has 2.5 stars for a reason folks. It's very unfortunate because I love how clean and friendly the business is but I will not give my hard earned money to dishonest people. read more

I absolutely love this store. I had a bad taste in my mouth from some crummy consignment shop experiences (see my review on Twice is Nice in Mystic, CT). Point blank, I'm a nice person - if you can't at least fake a smile while I'm spending my money in your store, then why are you even in business? At Practically Perfect Consignment they're ALL so sweet. I went in there first when i was pregnant & ended up dropping a bit there in preparation. I came back several months later after I'd had my baby and they actually remembered me and what i was looking for - so that right there was impressive. Each time I've gone back, it's like visiting a friend or extended family. Their store is spacious, very well organized, their items are in perfect shape & reasonably priced. They have killer sales - especially the biannual stuff-a-bag sale! This is the ONLY consignment shop I'll ever recommend to anyone because i KNOW they won't be disappointed! (They sell baby & children's clothing, baby & children's bedding/decor/furniture, maternity items including a small selection of nursing attire/undergarments, costumes, a few full priced locally made gorgeous baby items, books...) read more
