I spotted Love From Minnesota as I was sitting at Caribou Coffee, which is steps away. After finishing my drink, I paid this store a visit. I like a store that also has Rochester items. I liked the tea towel that pinpointed where Rochester was. When you mention Rochester, most folks think of the city in New York. Nope, that Rochester doesn't have the Mayo Clinic like the one in Minnesota does. There were Christmas items on sale, from socks to ornaments. The pine cone hedge hogs with Santa hats were adorable! There were plenty of sweatshirts and apparel flaunting the state. I loved a geode in state form. It was cool. It also has general gift items, such as punny gnome socks. I spent quite a bit of time browsing everything. I may have to go back and get the cork coaster set that declares one's love for Minnesota. It seems fitting that I should have them. There's a decent amount of parking, but the area around the gas pumps is a little too cramped for me. I have little experience with the gift shop and pharmacy, but the pharmacy does have a drive-through window! Outside the gift shop is an area that sells potted and hanging plants. Inside there's a small eating area between the gift shop and convenience store. The convenience store is fine, but the only thing that really stands out to me is the variety of drinks. I like places that have a lot of oddball brands and flavors. On my last visit I got a can of Lift Bridge Cream Soda, and the flavor was 'mini donut'. It was strange, but it was also very good, and very mini donut-y. I've always found the service to be friendly. I rate this store above average for having the most amount of services of all the similar local places.

The store is in the subway level and very close to the Mayo Methodist Hospital and I passed by it everyday. I had some time and needed a little "pick-me-up" and levity one afternoon. This store has some really amazing and fun items that put a smile on your face. You can find gifts for yourself, friends and family here and the ladies working here have some great gift ideas depending on what you need. The current one was 50% off garden stakes and spinners. They sell amazing dish towels that are really special. I had surgery this year and bought a large mug/bowl with a handle that had a lid that sets on the top. My husband put food in it so I could easily carry it and microwave. Lots of gift options: clothing, blankets, jewlery, spa items, knickknacks, etc... They even have chocolates and food items. Stop in - it's worth a trip!

Although the coupon that was in the most recent community ed book for 20% was expired, she gave the discount anyways because of that error. I appreciated that!
