When I'd called Swatch (Omega's parent company) they said they'd charge $450 just to look at the watch and additional fees would be added on from there. Mike at Knight Watch examined the watch, realized there were some definite challenges with it. Initially Omega said they did not have the parts but he was able to continue to push to the original source company. He got the parts, fixed the watch all for less than the fee Omega said they'd charge just to look at it. It's a privilege to work with true craftsmen who have the highest levels of integrity. This family run business is one of the few remaining places practicing actual horology. The expertise and care with which their work is treated is wonderful to see. The store is small and neat with wonderful pieces in the display cases, and work is completed quickly and competently. This really is the only place in town you should go to for work on your precious time piece (especially Rolex). Mailing stuff to Rolex and Omega takes months and the work is a crap shoot (believe me I've done it enough times and cursed almost every time I got my watches back). I checked out other jewelry places in town and mostly was met with "yeah I don't do that but I can mail it for you." It was very refreshing to meet people that: 1) understand your time piece, 2) know what went wrong, 3) can easily repair it without destroying your treasure. All the thumbs up.

The owner and artist has decades of experience in design & creation of jewelry. About seven years ago the shop moved from its long established location in downtown Colorado Springs to Old Colorado City. He is now at the corner of 17th & Colorado Blvd. He does seem quite modest and I don't find a web presence. If he treats you like he treated me (and he didn't know me from Adam) he'll treat you like he'd treat his own mother. One thing I can guarantee you'll get here is honesty - that was pretty apparent. Almost all metal and jewel work seems within his competence, certainly platinum, gold & silver in any of their iterations, and any stone, cut or otherwise. Obviously I like his style. The instructions posted outside the building said to text a number to check in, so I did, but never received any automated response or acknowledgment. When it was time for my appointment, I sent another text, called the number, and waited outside the door, yet no one responded. While trying to figure out what was going on, I noticed a couple walk into the shop. A male employee was speaking with them and could clearly see me standing outside the glass, but made no effort to acknowledge or assist me. After waiting and attempting multiple ways to make contact, I was completely ignored. Overall, the experience was very unprofessional and disappointing. Based on my experience, I'm genuinely surprised by the high rating this place has received.
