It was an entirely PAINLESS process from waiting room to leaving. I was in the chair fast, Mark explained all of my options without a sales pitch and he had my filling done n 40 mins. I had a series of bad dental experiences in another state that scared me off. I went to Dr. Jim for a consultation and scheduled my appointment for two weeks later. It was nice to know what price to expect (by attending his consultation first). He is friendly and personable and works efficiently. I fully trust his skills- I think he loves what he does and he is very good at it. His staff was also very nice. They were sensitive to my TMJ and let me rest when I needed to. I was in a private room and got to watch television while my crown was being made. I recommend them 100%.

I needed to be fixed fast since it was affecting my speech. After investigating, he had referred me to an oral surgeon but invited me back for regular dental visits. I did in fact, and a few months later they found a soft part of my last wisdom tooth. I came in and he and his team worked on cleaning out the decay and filling the tooth. I was amazed by the way the anesthesia was given, I didn't feel any pain when she shot my gum. Dr Stevens worked quickly to get my tooth fixed. Even better, there were some cancellations and I got in for a first time appointment within two days. Despite the current environment, I felt good about the precautions that are in place. You've got to call from the car to check in before entering, stand on opposite sides of the lobby from other patients, traffic flows in one direction, and everybody has on masks (some people even two or three). Overall the office is clean and modern with the latest equipment. Will was my hygienist and was fantastic. He was incredibly thorough, explained every detail/reasoning behind each step, and kept up good conversation and laughs throughout. Although a short time with the dentist, she was thorough and informative. I don't know if anybody will ever look forward to the dentist, but this spot made a solid first impression!

I went to Dr. Straub throughout high school and college. He was always professional, quick and I…read morethought he did a good job. I had extensive orthodontics that were being done by another office and when I'd go in for check ups he wasn't condescending about what they were doing which was nice. Their office was also accommodating and non-judgmental about our family not wanting fluoride treatments. My dad loves Dr. Straub since he's done a lot of his oral surgery. In his words he's, "fast and painless" - important things for oral surgeons. On the other hand, my sister has TMJ issues and Dr. Straub was never able to fix anything for her. He tried a number of treatments but none were successful. I'd recommend him for check ups and surgery but not for TMJ.

My mom's 18th birthday present back in the day was a full set of upper dentures. I have an older sibling who has dentures. Ugh. So I sucked it up and headed here upon the recommendation of my dentist to increase the upkeep on my still kinda pearly Irish chompers. Dr. Joe is a really nice guy. I did some research on him and found out he went to Harvard, which, if you mention it, he waves away as though it's nothing. He and his staff were very careful to explain everything that was going on, and what I needed to have done, while tedious, was not bad at all to deal with. They are great about keeping on you about checking in with how you are doing as you heal up. Other than it seems like most patients I've seen are at least 20 years older than me, and are being picked up after their appointments by their children while I can still drive, I am adjusting to the fact that there is no shame to getting some additional dental help. It's even kind of cute seeing all these who are around the age my parents would be if they were still around.
