My non-profit contracted Posh & Prim's event design and planning services for a foundation reception we held at our annual convention. Erika, worked with me exclusively, supported by Paige to curate a phenomenal event. My organization was fortunate enough to contract them early enough that they ended up saving our event from its original location. Her team began working for us before we officially signed and she was an angel. Perhaps the most valuable thing we did was work with their firm because they ended up bringing us to our new location and helped us source all lighting and décor vendors. We worked directly with Erika and her team managed all vendors for the event which allowed us to focus our attention elsewhere as there were many moving parts. Being able to leverage her local vendor relationships kept the event on and under budget as well as gave our foundation partners a world class experience. Our goal was to host an upscale event within our budget - needless to say, we succeeded! Erika's event design, from floral arrangements and lighting, to my favorite enhancement--the hanging acrylic buffet went above and beyond our imagination of what our event could be! She often took initiative and created a robust blueprint for the space and over-delivered on her contractual obligations (i.e. stage area for speakers, designated wall space for slide shows, etc). We weekly touch-points leading up to the event and even daily check-in as we got to the week of the event, and she was always available for our random needs in between times. Having us a client was not an easy undertaking but Posh & Prim never wavered in their professionalism and continued support and interest in providing us with all that we desired for our event. I looked at other florist in the area and found similar prices. I decided to use Englewood due to the connection with the funeral home. Their web ordering page kept reverting to the default for my sympathy card. Took me three times to get it correct, very frustrating. Originally, I added a tip, but on the bill they added so many service fees I removed it during one of the times I had to correct the sympathy message. They were kind to tell me that the flowers had been delivered on time, but for the $17.99 delivery fee plus a $7+ service fee, it was less than a pizza delivery service would do... for much less $. The flowers were the only ones at the service (people in Lawrence obviously know something I don't) and they were never placed with the casket (which is the funeral homes fault). My family who attended the funeral were on the look out for the flowers and of course they were a major topic of conversation. Once people found out I paid $120 for the bouquet with $39 in additional costs. They were all very verbal about telling me that I got ripped off. They all said the flowers looked like a $30 bunch from the grocery store in a vase. For next time... with a different florist. I'll not order online. I'll call and ask what is freshest and what can I get for the amount of money I want to spend. Or... I'll call a relative and have them pick up a bouquet from the grocery store.

I called Flower Loft and asked that the arrangement look like flowers from a country garden, specifically in a white basket to include IRIS and SUNFLOWERS as the main theme. With NO lilies. I gave the name of two similar examples I found online from other providers and she looked them up while we spoke, and said she would have no problem replicating them. My sister and I were extremely disappointed and a little upset to see the mish-mash of bright and clashing colors that looked more like confetti than a cheerful remembrance arrangement for family. It lacked balance, rhythm, and unity. It was filled with ROSES of every color of the rainbow, and worst of all it was dominated by white LILIES. There were NO SUNFLOWERS or even an appropriate substitution of similar color. One had to look very closely to even see the couple of small, Asian IRIS. My sister commented that the basket was not white and that it looked "beat up".
