At night the park was quiet and the sun set right on the water which obviously was a lovely attraction to many. People gravitated to the beach to sit and enjoy the view. The beach is sand and has benches. Camp sites are spaced apart nicely. Streets are paved and with plenty of width to maneuver. The park shares public access to the beach and boat ramps so there is some added traffic during daytime hours but they have a separate road so they do not drive through the campground. It's about 1.7 miles from town and there are several lovely private homes along the lakefront. I would camp here again in the future. Beautiful large lake that is clean and inviting for lots of recreation.
