I recently dropped off 4 of my husbands shirts which all stated machine wash. When I picked them up I was told they dry cleaned them without even calling me. Forty five dollars later for 4 shirts. Their policy is if the shirt is a brand name they will dry clean instead of laundering regardless of the care tag. Beware and be prepared to dish out the bucks. All of the mentioned shirts have been laundered by them or myself many times in the past so I was more than surprised. It would've been nice to have been told, either way I will not be going back. This laundromat uses a money card and is not a coin operated laundromat. However you can only load the card with dollar bills or debit/credit but the card leaves $0.25 and there's no way to add another $0.25 to use the last $.50 for 10 minutes in the dryers. Dryers run you $0.50 for 10 minutes and washers 4.25, 5.25, 6.50 or 7.50. There's no attendant on Sundays but there are signs with contact information if you need help. I most likely won't return as I am trying to find a placer closer towards Saco and South Portland but I figured I would try it out as I was in the area.

I get a lot of "special attention" markers on the shirts, especially the older ones. The only mistake that they have made is that once their factory damaged a shirt by ripping it in the front, so I lost that shirt, but overall destroying one shirt in 4 years is not bad and I have used cleaners that damaged shirts at a far higher rate.
