My whole closet, all the clothing I hung them next to... I unwrapped them and "aired" them out, but the smell was just terrible. Smelled like old take out and dirty carpet or something- just really bad. I paid almost $500 for this. These clothes were brand new, never worn. I didn't want to wreck them before my conference, but unfortunately, this cleaners wrecked them. One white blouse had a blue mark slashed through the back of it also. Later in the day I returned to use the laundromat and the same staff member showed me how to use the washer and dryer. I was there for just about an hour and left with a beautiful clean blanket. When a washer wouldn't accept my credit card management stepped right in to help. While I was there staff were constantly cleaning the machines and maintaining the space which is warm and sunny. The woman tore off the plastic and crumples up the paper it was wrwpped it and said that it didn't happen there and there was nothing they could do. It was rather large too. Do I take it to the dry cleaners or do it myself at a laundromat? I picked this laundromat because it was close and appeared to be not busy. Machines looked brand new and stainless steel. The washers were clearly marked for load size: 20, 30, 40, 50 lbs. I picked two 30 lbs snd as navigating the cc reader, they were up and running. Maybe took me 30' to wash both, dry the bedspread and I was off. Loved it! Made my day.
