Shitty customer service The men didn't wanna be there after the move items were missing

Moving with Pratt was flawless; I can't recommend these guys enough. Everything happened when they said it would, under the price that was estimated, and all of our belongings arrived in pristine condition. Additionally, the team at Pratt went above and beyond in entertaining our toddler during the process, and dealing with a car whose battery had died in transit. The bottom line is that Pratt was amazing, and we'll use them again without hesitation. I would highly recommend this company above others. read more

I had new carpet put in my living room Oct. '19. I needed them to move the heavy furniture out of the living/bedroom. They kept in a truck 2 nights at their facility. They moved the furniture back in 10/17/29. I had to leave for work at 9:00, so I had to estimate how much to pay them before leaving, so I made the check out for a little more than the first reported time 2 men had done on the move to the van, because I also asked them to also bring some stuff upstairs that I had been able to move down myself with the assist of gravity. Anyway, as I left for work after leaving the rest of the furniture in their charge, I armed my security system at 9:00 am in the morning, as I always do. All during the move there were recordings of them going in and out, including downstairs. So, they get done with the last piece and closed the front screen door. Guy 1 left at 9:18, guy 2 left at 9:19. I had written the check for time spent up to 10:15 am, not knowing how long it was going to take them. I never received any refund back for the extra hour they charged me. They even wrote on the contract that they left at 10:15--liars! My security system busted them. Also, guy 2 used the bathroom downstairs and left dirty, wet fingerprints all over the seat. They were working in conjunction with Georgia Carpet Works in Pullman, WA at the time. Another great move Friday 08/07/15. Same MO, No monkey business. The moving team arrived on time and delivered all items damage free to my daughters new apartment. Pratt stored the items also for the summer and made for a much better transition for the move vs renting a storage unit and moving the items yourself. Appreciate all the hard work of Team Pratt Moving & Storage. Yes I will be using you'all again.. I recently moved from Moscow,ID to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan utilizing the services of Pratt Moving and Storage. My goods were loaded on 8/14/18 and per contract they were to be delivered in Michigan sometime between 8/20 and no later than 9/3. My goods were not delivered until 9/6. When my stuff was delivered I found that EVERY item of furniture was either scratched, gouged, abraded or torn. One wooden storage cabinet from my shop had all but come apart and was propped against something in the truck in order to keep it from falling apart. My Laz-Boy recliner was not even covered with anything which probably helps to explain the 7" gash in the material. The rest of my furniture if it was covered at all was covered in PAPER wrappers! Oh, I did find that they used 3 ratty blankets that looked as if they might have been purchased at Goodwill. These were your regular bed blankets, no moving company pads were used at all! I have been promised that I would be paid $100/day for each day that the shipment was late. I have yet to see that money and upon inquiry I was told that my case was being referred to a specialist for review. Really? I'm no specialist but this seems clear to me. Yet another Mayflower delay. I also received an email that I was to be reimbursed for for $497 which I assume is for the damages that I incurred. It is a mystery to me how they came up with this figure. I was told in the email that this would be credited to my credit card. It was finally credited on 9/13. I am 100% dissatisfied with this amateurish and irresponsible moving company, Pratt Moving and Storage and Mayflower. Tim K read more
