They broke their contract with us, then ghosted us…read more We contacted them looking for a lawn mowing service here in Georgetown. They came out on short notice, we agreed to pay them extra because our lawn was overgrown and it was short notice. While they were here they said to us verbally that they'd meet or beat any competing offer for lawn mowing. We told them the lowest price we'd been quoted, they agreed to meet that offer. We agreed on them coming by once a week to mow at an agreed price, with the bill to be paid monthly. They didn't come by the week after that. We called them, and they said they were very busy and would be coming by on Sunday. Okay. That's agreeable. Well, then on Sunday they call and say that they are raising the price they're charging us each week to mow by $10. We reminded them that they'd agreed to match prices of competitors, but then they denied doing that, saying their new, higher price was their absolute minimum price for mowing a lawn of our size. Okay. Well, we didn't want to have to find another mowing company, so we agreed to the change, and told them we'd expect them at the agreed time on Sunday. That time came and went. They never showed up. As we'd communicated with them several times via Facebook Messenger, we've tried messaging them on Facebook, FB says they saw the message, but they never replied. We've tried calling them, as we'd also been in touch by phone, every call since has just gone to voice mail. We realize we've been ghosted by them. Then, after all this, I left a negative review on Facebook about how they'd treated us. They FINALLY responded to us after that, by telling us to find another lawn care company. We already had, because they'd been ignoring us. They are extremely unprofessional. Don't hire these folks, you can't rely on them.
