I called KOA to see if I could see new psychiatrist. I got in fairly quickly and again, I am listened to and being dealt with as a person, with the focus on my mental health. It is such a relief to know that I have someone I trust. I have looked in to some of their group therapy offers from the therapists, but so far they haven't worked with my college and work schedule. No one greeted me, I went up to check in and was treated like a nuisance. The doctor was even worse. She didn't adjust the height of the machine that measures your prescription so it was way too high and I had to crane my neck, ended up with a bad prescription as a result and will now need to revisit a COMPETENT optometrist. Didn't do a dilated eye exam, despite me past history of eye issues and her being told this. My contacts I got from her office didn't fit my eyes properly, so again something I have to pay a provider who knows how to do their job for. I thought after my appointment that maybe they were having a bad day the office or something, but alas, when going back to pick up glasses they were just as rude as the previous visit. No smiles, rude, acted like customers were just a nuisance. Clearly a toxic work environment with bitter non customer driven employees. I can't believe there aren't more negative reviews, I guess people around here don't complain about poor service, but I do because I believe people deserve to know. Please save your money, time, and sanity and go elsewhere!
