The manager did test drive it, but then claimed he couldn't feel or hear anything. He said the ladder rack made too much noise. Then he admitted he never tested it as I described. Then he claimed it must be the rear brakes, not the front brakes. (After claiming he didn't feel anything). Then he showed me the work order which was for the front brakes, and not the rear ones which he tried to blame it on. The noise and jumping are obvious, the whole front end shudders. We went to the 2 GM dealerships in town and they were only able to see me in 2-3 weeks, even though they knew we were 1200 miles from home. Their only recommendation was to go to the Toyota dealership across the street. We were lucky enough to find Dayton Transmission. We told Robert over the phone what our situation was and he told us to come in and see what he could do. Although he couldn't fix the problem he was able to do a transmission flush and change the filter which would at least help get us home. We asked him if there was anything near by where we could walk to eat or if there was a taxi service. He said there wasn't.
