So glad we found Jack and his team at Infant House! We tried to install 3 different baby gates on…read moreour own, but none worked for our staircase. They were either too wide, too tall or not compatible with our wider than average banisters. I called Infant House and spoke to Jack, who was very helpful and assured me they could find a solution. Jonathan came out a couple days later and installed two baby gates and a few kitchen cabinet magnetic locks (best ever!). He was very professional, explained everything he would be doing and worked diligently to install the gates. His ingenuity resulted in a functional and streamlined baby gate at both the top and bottom of our stairs. Save yourself the time and stress and call Infant House from the start! I know our needs will evolve as our family grows and we will absolutely call them again in the future.

Scheduled an in-home consultation with Infant House and was quickly reached out to. 2 things that…read morereally rubbed me the wrong way: 1) Nowhere on Infant House's website did it mention that the consultation would cost anything, much less $125. I even double checked the emails they had sent me to make sure I didn't miss anything, and nowhere in their emails did they mention it either. I called and asked for a refund and they apologized, but simply told me they could "use it towards the cost if we purchased the full service". 2) The "in-depth 1.5 hour consultation" lasted 30 min, was driven by my wife and I pointing things out and asking questions, and genuinely felt underwhelming. Throw in the fact that it cost $125, and here I am now writing my first negative review on yelp ever. Super dissatisfied with Infant House. Just save your money and look up basic baby proofing guides on the internet and you'll be way better off.

I moved into my new condo and just like everyone else in today's world I decided to get security…read morefor my new home. I spent time and did my research and purchased 2 cameras. One for my door bell and the other over looking my entrance. Online they make it clear to tell you that you need Wifi( which was no problem) This is the catch , they don't really mention how significant it is for you to have control of your own electricity. For some reason now a days many homes have their breaker box outside or not in a private secure place. If they cut off your electricity, you no longer have WiFi therefore you no longer have cameras. My breaker box being in my patio was pretty much accessible to the public. Therefore I decided to get a home monitoring system. This is the other catch, home monitoring system alert the police if someone breaks into your house. Now a days burglars are using the key numbing system to break into your home You will need to look it up for details but basically they put a blank key into your lock and copy your key. You open the door just like anyone who had the key and therefore the home monitoring system has no reason to be suspicious. I also got shutters but the person installing the shutters makes up the code for your remote and they can tell anyone. If someone has the code to your electric shutters, they can open them just like you do. I would like to bring this concern to light to the shutter companies. Why the owner of the shutters is kept in the dark about which code the worker has chosen. Why should the worker know your shutters code and not you. Would it make more sense if the owner of the shutters got to pick the code in a private manner so that no one else would know their shutters s code? So that idea was out the door because the people installing my shutters made friends with the people keeping the grounds at my condo. I might not be lucky with alarms but I am lucky in that I have really nice people for my HOA. They allowed me to get security gate and I am thrilled about it. First they look great, there is a physical sense of security and you feel like you have protection. The man that installed mine is named Victor. He is soft spoken and is gentle in his ways. He listens and remembers what you needed from him. Nothing can put those gates out of service. The only thing you need to be careful with is picking your locks for the gate. Remember key bumping. Victor will put as many locks as you want. And you pick your own design. There are some special keys that are prone to key bumping. Do your homework on the internet. Also you can add some bicycle chains around the bars. After spending a lot of money and a lot of time , I have come to the conclusion that security gates are the most reliable form of security for your home. By the way , Their prices are reasonable and you don't have to keep making monthly payments. I will send you some pictures, it's night time right now
