Very pleased with our Katchaleaf pool cover for our kidney shaped pool. Just wish we had done it sooner. Our pool is surrounded by 40' tall live oaks which drop huge quantities of acorns, leaves and other debris, especially in the Spring. I was impressed how our cover was custom fitted and manufactured right on site at our house. The entire project took five hours. The cover has a high quality and very attractive appearance. And I thought the cost was reasonable. The cover is guaranteed for five years but it appears to be high quality and I expect it to last much longer than five years. Another big plus for us is that the leaf cover gives me peace of mind when our 13 pound dog is in our back yard. Purchased cover 4/14/23. Put cover on October 2023, it was great. They give you a storage roller that makes it very easy to handle. Took cover off May 2024. Rolled it onto storage roller and put it on side of house. October 2024 time to cover. After unrolling there were spots that looked like the material hid gotten hot and melted. Tried to install but in pulling cover to stretch and hook into anchor(s) the material tore. Still wouldn't stretch enough for 2 of the anchor's to connect. Contacted customer service and they avoided contact which immediately made me a bit nervous. Bottom line is they don't replace custom pool covers. The best offer was to take it to Houston and have their people look at it and maybe patch it. There thought was that I had done something to cause the issue. I decided to purchase anchor hook extensions and patching materials and fix it myself. Bottom line is I like the cover but just know that if you purchase you're on your on if something goes wrong. PLEASE LOOK AT OWNERS REPLY. I already spent 20 minutes on the phone with them. They believe that this could only have been caused by something I did. Just be prepared for this if you buy their product and something goes wrong. read more

I had my Katchakid fence installed several years ago to help make my back yard secure for my grandkids when they visit. I have a multi level concrete deck around the backside. Due to settling over time, the concrete had sagged towards the back. I had a different contractor inject something under it to bring it back up to level. They had removed the back portion of the fence to complete their injections. Afterwards the hooks and eyelets of those fence sections didn't meet up to be able to hook them. I called Katchakid and they were able to get to me in a couple of days. Carlos and Dre were on time, professional, and quickly made the necessary adjustments to close the gaps and hook the sections together again. I highly recommend Katchakid. read more

We used Katchakid to install a net and cover for our pool. The system looks sturdy and easy to install and remove. Carlos, our installer, took a bunch of ropes and made a beautiful net that will help keep the Grandkids and pets from getting into the pool without us. He was also able to make our pool cover the same day as he had a sewing machine and could use it, so our order was complete in one day. We moved into a new house and I had zero experience with maintaining a pool. Having small children, safety was the top priority, so we shopped for different safety net options. From the very beginning, KatchAKid stood out. I entered a request for a quote through their website and got a call the same day from the Sales Exec, Bob. He came to give us an estimate on cost the very same day and was prompt and professional. He answered all my questions and wasn't pushy about anything (as some salesmen can be). I called some other places but they really didn't show the same kind of courtesy and that made a difference. As it turned out, KatchAKid was also the best priced option. Anyway, to top it all off, I had a lot of questions about pool cleaning and maintenance. These were general questions that had nothing to do with the safety net, but Bob patiently answered these questions and gave me good tips from his own experience owning a pool. Hard to get that kind of courtesy and free advice from people these day unfortunately, so I really appreciated that. The net will be installed in a couple of weeks, so I will update the review at that time with our experience with the product, though I feel confident we made the right decision. We had to push back our date of installation over 4 times on them because our pool was not fully completed, they were very patient with us and understanding. In between my first contact and installation I had to reschedule due to the speed of the pool going in and had a few questions. They were always immediately responsive. Also, office staff were very friendly and if they didn't have an answer, they got one within 24 hours. The technician who came to install was one of the nicest people I have had in my home to provide services. He was friendly, professional, informative, and made sure everything I was looking for was done. I had to leave and he even texted me a picture once it was finished so I could see how it looked. Did a lot of research since I have a 2 yr old NOT water safe toddler. Decided on this based on track record, other reviews and flush mounts in pool deck...others seemed to have raised mounts which will inevitably... for my family... result in stubbed toes as the kids run around the pool deck 5 stars for katchakid product 5 stars for the black crank thingy which makes putting on and off the cover much easier than the standard pulley system 5 stars for Bob in sales 5 stars for Ana in the office 5 stars to the install team 2 stars for the cheapy PVC pipe roller...feels flimsy and never stays put when I'm rolling up my net...plus always seems to get caught on the edges and cant roll in the last 5 yards so just have to pull it up manually onto deck. You'd think with the cost of the net, they'd invest more in product development to provide customers a better roller contraption than something that looks pieced together -50 stars for the leaf cover (katchaleaf)....do not recommend this! This is basically a huge PITA and is a second net cover on top of your katchakid. This was not covered in depth in the sales pitch... i assumed it was all integrated...not two completely different covers with two different install and removal steps. It's meant to keep the leaves out...but it is such a huge pain I will never put it back on. This is because you have to manually unhook this net before you can unhook your katchakid and roll it up on the roller. You CANNOT roll up the leaf net onto the roller (that's what the installer said) so it is very time intensive to remove it...plus the hooks they use are poor design and are always catching on the loop on the katchakid net...giant...pain...in...the ***... I would not get this again if I had known what I know now. The bag they give you to store the net in also looks/feels cheap. That said...I would get the katchakid again, and the black crank thing to protect your babies from the pool. read more
