We were able to book CAPEC months in advance, which gave us the peace of mind to book the trip knowing that we had reliable child care in place for the night of the wedding. The reservation process was smooth and easy. I spoke to Ebony by phone and she explained her services and confirmed that she could accommodate the size of our group. Once we decided to book CAPEC, we received a link to fill out all the necessary information online (i.e. allergy information and emergency contacts for each child). We then received a written agreement laying out all the terms and information we needed to plan ahead. Given that we had a large group of six kids, Ebony brought a second staff member, Yolaunda. The two of them came very well prepared with plenty of toys and activities for the kids to play with. As soon as they arrived at the hotel they had the kids engaged with bubbles, balloons, and musical instruments. They also did a great job of comforting/distracting the kids so that the parents could slip out without causing a meltdown. Throughout the evening Ebony texted us updates and pictures of the kids playing and enjoying themselves, which was very reassuring and put our minds at ease so we could enjoy the wedding festivities. When we got back to the hotel at midnight all of the kids were fast asleep. The next morning the kids told us how much fun they had with Ebony and Yolaunda, which is really the best feedback you can get. Thank you Ebony, Yolaunda and Children At Play Event Childcare! Jess sends me pictures of her thru out the day of my daughter as happy as can be playing. The teachers all have attitudes and the director always backs what her teachers do. They never speak to you when you come in and pick your child. They NEVER SPEAK the parents at all. Then when I told her that my child is the last child there at the end of the day and no one still speaks to me she said "well its the end of there shift" This is the worst daycare I have ever sent my child too. There are two good things about this school…read more.. Okay, there's probably more than that but there's definitely two that I know of for sure. 1. Ms. Vivian is probably dead and therefore no longer part of their staff. She was evil incarnate when she was working here (I should know, I had her for kindergarten). How the physical abuses got past the administration are beyond me, but this was a different time, and she was horrible. 2. Ms. Cook no longer works here either. She was a redheaded demon. No, seriously. I corrected her on her grammar when I was 12 or so (Mr. Matthews was a good English teacher) and she pretty much tried to shoot me with flaming arrows. Ever since then she would make up random things about me that were totally untrue just to get me in trouble. I hope she's dead too, really. Anyways, there still were plenty of great teachers here in my day; Mr. Matthews, Ms. Green, Ms. Ehardt, etc. But none of them work here now either. I guess since most of this stuff is irrelevant now, it's probably not very helpful. However, if you are considering sending your kids here for the Christian aspect I should tell you, they also did such a good job of teaching me to think independently that I experimented with Pagan beliefs in high school and definitely became an Atheist in college.

Our daughter turned 2 this past week and comes home singing songs she learned at school, can say the alphabet and count to 10. She knows all animal sounds and is getting to know her colors and shapes. We appreciate the notifications from the Sprout About App throughout the day and the updates from Ms Kerry and Ms Serena on how our daughter's day went. Just wanted to add an update to this review, that my daughter has moved from Toddler 1 Room to the Twos Room and the teachers in the Twos Room (Ms. Kathy, Ms. Celeste, and Ms. Valerie) are just as amazing as Ms Kerry and Ms Serena. They have helped immensely with potty training our 2 year old and with dropping the pacifier at nap time. I can't thank them enough for their dedication, patience, and kindness.
