We were able to book CAPEC months in advance, which gave us the peace of mind to book the trip knowing that we had reliable child care in place for the night of the wedding. The reservation process was smooth and easy. I spoke to Ebony by phone and she explained her services and confirmed that she could accommodate the size of our group. Once we decided to book CAPEC, we received a link to fill out all the necessary information online (i.e. allergy information and emergency contacts for each child). We then received a written agreement laying out all the terms and information we needed to plan ahead. Given that we had a large group of six kids, Ebony brought a second staff member, Yolaunda. The two of them came very well prepared with plenty of toys and activities for the kids to play with. As soon as they arrived at the hotel they had the kids engaged with bubbles, balloons, and musical instruments. They also did a great job of comforting/distracting the kids so that the parents could slip out without causing a meltdown. Throughout the evening Ebony texted us updates and pictures of the kids playing and enjoying themselves, which was very reassuring and put our minds at ease so we could enjoy the wedding festivities. When we got back to the hotel at midnight all of the kids were fast asleep. The next morning the kids told us how much fun they had with Ebony and Yolaunda, which is really the best feedback you can get. Thank you Ebony, Yolaunda and Children At Play Event Childcare! My daughter is 8 months old and starts moving her legs as soon as we get to her driveway! She loves going there and playing with all the other kids. Jess sends me pictures of her thru out the day of my daughter as happy as can be playing. The teachers all have attitudes and the director always backs what her teachers do. They never speak to you when you come in and pick your child. They NEVER SPEAK the parents at all. When I brought this to the director's attention she said The teachers are too busy watching the other kids to speak to the parents. Then when I told her that my child is the last child there at the end of the day and no one still speaks to me she said "well its the end of there shift" This is the worst daycare I have ever sent my child too. There are two good things about this school…read more.. Okay, there's probably more than that but there's definitely two that I know of for sure. 1. Ms. Vivian is probably dead and therefore no longer part of their staff. She was evil incarnate when she was working here (I should know, I had her for kindergarten). How the physical abuses got past the administration are beyond me, but this was a different time, and she was horrible. 2. Ms. Cook no longer works here either. She was a redheaded demon. No, seriously. I corrected her on her grammar when I was 12 or so (Mr. Matthews was a good English teacher) and she pretty much tried to shoot me with flaming arrows. Ever since then she would make up random things about me that were totally untrue just to get me in trouble. I hope she's dead too, really. Anyways, there still were plenty of great teachers here in my day; Mr. Matthews, Ms. Green, Ms. Ehardt, etc. But none of them work here now either. I guess since most of this stuff is irrelevant now, it's probably not very helpful. However, if you are considering sending your kids here for the Christian aspect I should tell you, they also did such a good job of teaching me to think independently that I experimented with Pagan beliefs in high school and definitely became an Atheist in college.

I felt safe and safe for my daughter to attend. She absolutely loved her teachers and the activities she did at 'school'. I really liked all the updates of what she did throughout the day including pictures and videos. Each day was a new learning and fun activity after morning circle time and I really felt like they enriched her education while loving on her and taking care of her. She learned to count, say ABC's and to spell her name all at 18 months! I think the daycare was run well and also felt she had a balanced diet for her meals there.

If you want your kids taken care of definitely look elsewhere. There is no engagement or…read moreenrichment, kids are not interacted with and set at table to color with a single color crayon. We removed my daughter in August and she still cries about the old school every time we drive by.
