We got married on June 16 of this year and all I can say is that Deanne was great! I initially searched the internet to find wedding planners., looked at ratings and reviews, and Deanne seemed to be the best. I wanted everything to go as smooth as possible, and with a destination wedding I didn't really want to worry about anything. We started planning about a year ahead of time, and Deanne helped us with all our many questions, in a timely manner. She was always very polite and professional. Deanne even helped me pick out a babysitter for my friends with kids, so they could enjoy the wedding reception without worry. What was really nice about Deanne is that she would go the extra mile even before we had paid anything. All I had to do was send her pictures of what I wanted, and she was on it. Deanne kept good track of all my questions via e-mail and followed up with a phone call. She is a very busy lady, and I appreciate the time she took to answer all my questions so patiently. I think what some people might forget is that she really is busy, and has to do many weddings every week - she might not get back to you on the exact same day, but rest assured, she will get back to you and make sure everything is taken care of. I asked Deanne to set up our wedding license appointment which went off without a hitch. Later in the day she had set up two appointments for me for a trial mani-pedi and hair and makeup. The two ladies she had sent over were wonderful. They were personable, professional, and very good at what they do, and did everything exactly the way I wanted. They really made me feel at ease, and made very helpful suggestions about my hair. We also asked Deanne to help us with a rehearsal the day before the wedding. This was the first time I met Deanne in person. She was so lovely and professional. She gave me a big hug, and was instrumental in keeping me calm - because I knew she would take care of everything. She was great at coordinating the crowd - we had a rather large wedding party, and everyone knew what they had to do. She took the time to sit down with us after the rehearsal to go through and confirm each and every detail. Deanne had organized two shuttles to take the guests to the wedding site. All I had to do was give her a list of guests and where they stayed, and she made sure that everyone got on the shuttles and were at the wedding on time. On the day of the wedding, Deanne was there when I arrived with my bridesmaids at the estate - about 5 hours ahead of time. It was nice to know that she kept an eye on everything. The hairdresser showed up on time and did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. Deanne kept on checking in to make sure I was doing alright, and at the same time had to make sure that everything else was set up for the ceremony an reception. The photographer and videographer she got were amazing. They were great at getting the best shots out of everyone, and made everyone feel very at ease. All of our guests kept commenting that "these two knew what they were doing". Some times I didn't even notice the photographers, which was great, and when I look back at our pictures, I realize exactly how good they are at what they do. She booked a wonderful guitar player for the ceremony, and the minister was awesome. He kept on making us laugh, which really helped with the nerves, and our guests really seemed to enjoy it. His sermon was fantastic. I met the minister for the first time at the altar, and he did a great job of making me feel at ease. The food was absolutely amazing. The appetizers were world class and I couldn't have asked for better. The main course was exactly what I wanted, and our dessert out of this world. The catering company, and servers were very professional, and it really had a 5 star restaurant feel. Throughout the night Deanne kept on checking in with us to make sure that everything was going as it should, which I appreciated. My husband and I got married on 1/18/14, I've been meaning to write a review but things have been so busy. So finally, here it is! We started off knowing we definitely wanted to be married on Maui of all islands and after some research I decided to go with Precious Maui Weddings - I'm incredibly happy that I did! From beginning to end Deane was extremely considerate and thoughtful in helping me plan my dream wedding. She was always available whenever I needed her and if I had to leave a voicemail, she called me back within a few hours. We did most of our communicating via email and she was always very fast to respond. She made planning a wedding as easy as she could and was always such a huge help to me. I'm one to stress over every small detail, so leaving it up to someone else to plan it all for me, was a challenge for me but I was not disappointed the day of! We picked the Gardenia package but having a budget, she allowed me to customize it to my preference - we took away the bouquet and added a professional up-do. I wish I could remember the sweet woman who did my hair but I was in a craze that morning lol She did an AMAZING job though and it was exactly what I asked for. Upon arriving at our location (Po'olenalena Beach), I was greeted by our photographer and minster that helped put my stress and nerves at ease. Upon finally seeing Deane, she welcomed me with a very warm hug and a friendly face (which when you're super nervous, is the best thing ever to receive!). Our minister, Adam Gomes, was the kindest man and joked around with my husband and I to help take the anxiety off of us. I was a little nervous about choosing a photographer I didn't know or wasn't able to communicate directly with - I chose Todd Mizomi of Island Production Group and I couldn't believe how BEAUTIFUL our pictures turned out. He is an extremely gifted photographer and listened to my every want and need. I had a few sample pictures from Pinterest (of course) and he did his best to replicate them in his way. At one point, he was laying in the dirt and grass just to get the perfect shot! We received our sample pictures to review the week we were still in Maui and after choosing the ones I wanted, we received the actual hard copies no more than two weeks later. We did pay extra to purchase the CD with full copyrights, which I would recommend. I honestly can't say enough GREAT things about Deanne and her crew, I would do it all again with her in a heartbeat. If you're currently planning your wedding and still unsure of who to go with, I highly recommend Deane! It was absolutely perfect and truly my dream come true... Gregory and Priscilla A. October 17, 2018 We'd like to thank Deanne of Precious Maui Weddings and her awesome team for putting together a wedding more beautiful than we imagined. We're typically laid back people but even still, planning a wedding is going to be stressful. However, this was not the case with the help of Deanne and her crew. She was always prompt in her response and went out of her to make personal connections with the both of us. All we wanted were a few email exchanges, but Deanne felt it important to work out certain details over the phone and she was right. We booked about a year in advance with Deanne for whom we chose because she had outstanding reviews and the most affordable wedding packages in Maui that we could find. She gave us the option to customize packages and even suggested cheaper options to alleviate unnecessary items in our wedding packages that we weren't sure if we would need. She is a busy woman, but for very good reason and made sure all the details of our wedding were handled in a timely manner. On our wedding day, we had the lightest rain, it was great, but Deanne was worried that we might not be fond of having a wedding in the rain so offered to try and get the location moved to a drier site. It was just comforting for us to know that they were willing to go to great lengths to make this day as special for us as possible. As for her team, our minister Adam was so easy going making us feel relaxed and even cracking jokes appropriately to create that iconic care-free, Hawaiian atmosphere while still maintaining his composure and offering his touching words. Frederick & Jennifer of Marbelle were on the video and camera shots and when we say they did amazing, we mean it! They worked with us like we'd been friends for years and getting in shots without us realizing, so smooth and professional these two were the perfect dynamic duo; and the photos were stunning! And thanks to Paul for the tunes and Merriman's for hosting the event. The wedding was on Merriman's lawn, on a cliff overlooking the ocean. We had 30 guests who fit comfortably on the lawn and didn't even realize that business was as usual inside the restaurant though there were a few spectators, but we didn't mind. The beach is just a short stroll across the lawn where we had our last photo shots against a sun-setting backdrop. We concluded the evening with a reception in Merriman's cabana area which could accommodate more than the 32 of us that it did, and the basic setup was elegant enough that we didn't need to spend tons of money on extra décor. Our wedding ceremony took place at Makena Cove, Maui, on Sunday January 17, 2016. Precious Maui Weddings had initially made my shortlist after doing some extensive Internet research for our destination wedding, because of how concise, inviting and professional the website looked and the information was presented, combined with the actual packages pricing and descriptions. And when a friend from work recommended them from experience, I did not look further. Ours was to be a small, simple, but meaningful sunset wedding ceremony with a couple of guests and groom's 2 children present. I chose the Pakalana package with some a la carte selections (upgraded bouquet and extra leis). Deanne was very professional, yet friendly and approachable as she called me back and explained the process and timeline. After our initial phone call, easy communication by email followed when it came to selecting the date and beach location, bouquet style, leis, etc. Deanne encouraged any questions, fully supported the selections I already knew I wanted to make (Makena Cove and incorporation the children into a part of our ceremony), and even made recommendations when it came to restaurant choices for our dinner after the ceremony and suggested time for reservations. Deanne made sure all necessary information and documentation was sent to me in a timely manner, and arranged for our wedding license meeting with the appropriate officer closest to our condo. I had decided to give up the impulse to control everything and to fully trust Deanne with coordinating the whole thing... so that our job would be just to show up. And she did just that. I do not have any experience with PMW's bridal hair styling (I went to an independent hair salon), but I did choose to have the bouquet and leis prepared by Deanne and they were beautiful, the bouquet was beyond my expectations. It is apparent to me that for her business, Deanne cooperates with some great, professional people: we were fortunate enough that she selected Minister Adam Gomes (great personality and wonderfully authentic style) to perform our ceremony, as well as the talented and skillful Ceasar from LIZADA Photography to take some fantastic pictures to commemorate our special day. We had so much fun, thanks to Deanne's choices! To any couple considering a Maui destination wedding: I have full confidence Deanne can take care of the details for you. When my husband proposed to me we already knew we wanted to get married in Hawaii - it was our dream vacation we hadn't been on yet and combining it with our marriage ceremony couldn't have sounded more romantic and beautiful. Immediately we were overwhelmed by all of the vendors to choose from and planning from a distance in a place we had never been to before. Deanne with Precious Maui Weddings came well recommended on a website I frequented and from the moment of contact I felt I trusted her, didn't feel pushed into contracts (like many others) and that she 100% enjoyed what she did and wanted to make this day exactly what we pictured and dreamed of. Deanne went above and beyond in ensuring she was meeting all of our needs throughout our entire year of contact and lead up to the wedding. Throughout the planning process she would respond to any inquiry I had within a day or two and always felt assured everything was as it should be. Once we arrived in Maui she phoned me the day before the wedding just to touch base and ensure all the little details were worked out. She was so calm and soothing and completely made me feel great about everything. She suggested as many people try and find the location as possible the day before to ease the stress which was the best advice we could have been given - thank god we did, we all got lost that night!!! The few people who didn't know where to go in advance called Deanne and she walked them through getting there....... I had no clue of any chaos on the day of, she took care of everything before it ever even made it to me. Right before the wedding she gave me a great little pep talk and perfect advice on making sure to just focus on my FI and be in the moment. She was there at every step to make sure my dress was positioned perfectly throughout for the perfect photo opportunity, my veil was nicely tucked into my dress to avoid the whipping in the wind and even gave my husband advice that if it were to get loose to gently hold the small of my back with the veil lightly pressed so it wouldn't get loose..... seriously.... she thinks of EVERYTHING!!! I can't say thank you enough, I would definitely recommend - she was worth every penny!!! Vendors used through Deanne were Liz with Kiss the Bride, Marbelle photography and Adam Gomes - all of them were amazing. They created the perfect dream wedding day for my husband and I. This is a long over-due review. Today marks the 3rd anniversary of my Hawaiian wedding. My husband came across Deanne from Precious Maui Weddings and contacted her right away. We are from Canada and had just a little over 10 months to prepare for this August wedding. Right away, she had made a long-distance phone call to communicate with us. From then on, she emailed, called and sent snail mail when required. We are also planning a Canadian wedding in the fall of the same year, so we sometimes didn't get to answer her correspondences right away. She was very detailed, thorough and patient with us. She had all the answers right away and she communicated them to us in a very peofessional manner. She was very prompt in giving us all the information we needed. She accomodated every small and big changes I had made close to the date. We were planning on bringing our own minister (my husband's bestfriemd) and it turned out that he can't perform any weddings outside of Canada. So Deanne suggested that we get our minister to perform the wedding but get a Hawaiian minister to sign all the paperworks to make it all legal. So we decided to get Pastor Adam to sign and also to perform a Hawaiian blessing in the wedding. It was a beautiful bible verse in the Hawaiian language. It was breathtaking. We also had requested an extra tier to my cake 2 days before the wedding. Being thousands of miles away, we didn't really expect everything to be perfect, since we know we will be seeing everything for the first time when we get there, but PERFECTION was what we got. From the harpist, make up artist. the photographer and videographer and dj. Everyone was so professional, friendly and went over what was expected of them. The ceremony place was decorated beautifully. The reception site was more than gorgeous, Gannon's lower lawn. The reception was over a sunset view and the food was to die for. Yes they were a little on the pricey side, but it was so worth it. Our guests are still talking about the crab cakes and the mahimahi/steak entree we had from 3 years ago. Ofcourse there were minor mishaps, like the cake had a small crack in the front. The restaurant gave other drink options to the guests when we already paid for unlimited soda. Also, I had wanted hydrangeas on my bouquet but didn't have them. But all of these didn't matter because what we got was so much more than we expected. Overall, I highly recommend Deanne and Precious Maui Weddings to those who want a planner who will go above and beyond what is expected. read more

My husband and I recently got married in Maui and thankfully we came across Deanne from google and reading other reviews. I live in CA and have never been to Maui so I was a bit nervous trying to plan a wedding thousands of miles away from home however Deanne made it such a breeze... from giving us suggestions for location, reception, marriage license appts, and even minor details like how to ship my dress over seas she DID IT ALL! We finally met Deanne on our wedding day and I felt like I knew her so well because she is very easy to contact and she gets back to you if she misses a phone call or email rather quickly. Her daughter Brittney is also very nice and was there the day of our wedding. Now onto the BIG day! Deanne gave us perfect directions finding Makena Cove Beach as it is very hidden aka Secret Beach :) She arrived on time and brought an amazing crew with her the Officiant Adam Gomes is such a kind and wonderful man! Request Adam if possible because he was so funny and added laughter to our day. Our photographer Ceasar Lizada - one word AMAZING! He took such stunning photos of our wedding and I couldn't be more grateful as those were the memories we flew back home with us and will continue to look back on throughout the years! I am very particular about photography and he was the perfect match, I was seriously blown away with his work and professionalism. We were able to view our photos 2 days following the wedding so that was a plus! Also the videographer Todd did such a good job on the video and he was so nice. I love our wedding video- it is about 20 mins and we will be having a viewing party with our family members that were not able to make it, trust me they are dying to watch the video. All of our family (30 people) that attended the wedding thought it was so beautiful and are still wondering how I planned a wedding in Maui and I said "all thanks to Deanne and the team." Wish I could give 10 STARS!!!! Married 4/12/14 Polo Beach Wailea, HI Where to start... mmm the beginning. My then fiance' and I wanted to have an intimate destination wedding on the island of Maui. We had never been to the Island before and were planning a whole year out. I stumbled upon Deanne and Precious Maui Weddings by googling wedding planners in Maui. After reading a few reviews and visiting the website as well as seeing the prices, I immediately called. That would be my first PRO- I was able to get an overview of packages and make decisions of what to add or take out. After playing phone tag a few times early on with Deanne I discovered the best method is email, we scheduled a call and we began planning. Deanne is very professional, detailed and makes GREAT recommendations. she asked me where I was going to be staying and how many people we expected. We orginally planned on staying at the Fairmount in Wailea and was hoping for at least 25 guest. She recommended the perfect beach and we picked out a package and made some tweeks to it. The process was easy peezy. Throughout the entire planning, Deanee kept in touch at least once a month, I would send her ideas for bouquets, or ask her for recommendations on places to book receptions etc. She made me feel like I was her client and her friend. I truly trusted her and I am so glad I did. We ended up getting married at the Polo Beach on April 12th 2014, my package included a harpist, videography, photographer, flower circle, leis for my 34 guest and DOVES.. it was the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced. Deanne made my wedding day so relaxing. She told me what to do, when to do it, and I had no worries, she was my unofficial MOH making sure my hair was ok, jewerly was straight ,bouquet was perfect. Her attention to detail was AWESOME! She even scheduled someone to do my hair and make-up as well as my sister one of my 6 bridesmaids, they did an amazing job. Last but not least the videographer delivered our wedding DVD before we left the island, he had finished a day after the ceremony. My husband and I wanted a small, intimate beach wedding in Maui. We had both been married before, and raised our kids. Now, it was about us!! I came across Precious Maui Weddings while googling maui weddings. I liked their website right away, as well as their reviews.. I felt it was very professionally done, and liked what they had to offer. I called Deanne with many questions. She was very accomodating right from the beginning. We luckily had several months to plan, so was able to take my time to plan our wedding just the way we wanted it. My communication with Deanne was pretty much by e-mail. We talked only a couple times by phone. Her responses did not always get back to me as quickly as I would have liked, but we got it done. She made sure I was ok with what she was planning for us. We talked in detail about flower colors for my boquet, and the leis. I even sent pics with what I had in mind. They turned out really nice. The cake was really pretty too. She had it delivered to Sorrentos Restaurant where we ate after the ceremony. My hair and makeup was done in my hotel room by DJ. She was very nice, and did a good job. Arrived right on time We chose Makena Cove for our wedding. It was so gorgeous!! Deanne, the minister and Jennifer the photographer from Marbelle were already there waiting for us. We decided on a sunset ceremony. The weather was perfect!! The minister was a native, and wonderful. Loved his personality. The photographer Jennifer was awesome. She took 214 digital pictures. Said we would get them by e-mail in a week, but actually got them in about 3 days. We were very happy with the pictures. She was great. Never made us feel rushed. Just kept taking pictures. She probably would have taken more, but we had a dinner reservation!! All in all, is was a really great experience. My husband and I chose to go with Precious Maui Weddings after reading a lot of reviews and researching SEVERAL places. I communicated with Deanne over email and had everything planned 6 months before the wedding. I was a very stress free bride thanks to Deanne! She was very accommodating and allowed us to make our own package so we had everything we wanted. She also coordinated with a great restaurant (Gannons) for our reception. The food was amazing and the cake was absolutely delicious. We've had all of our guests come tell us how much they loved the wedding and the dinner. My aunt actually told me "Normally you leave a wedding and go grab a pizza because the food was just ok. Not the case for your wedding." So needless to say, Evan and I were happy with the way things turned out. The morning of the wedding I had the in-room mani/pedi and it was the perfect way to start the day. The girl was very nice and she did an excellent job with my nails and toes. Very friendly and was truly happy to be there. I also had our photographer come in 2 hours early to take pre-wedding pictures. He was amazing!!!!! He asked what I wanted and when I told him my few ideas he ran with it and created the best pictures. I would have never been able to come up with the ideas he had. Our package came with 60 pictures but we had to buy the CD with all of them because they were all so perfect. We were both a little nervous on the day of the wedding just because we hadn't had a rehearsal at the beach and didn't really know what to expect. Deanne met with us both before the ceremony and put all of our worries to rest. The minister was a native Hawaiian and very nice. He clamed our nerves during the ceremony and let me take a breather when I was crying so much I couldn't say my vows anymore :] We were, and still are, very happy with the service we got with Deanne. Married: 7th Nov 14 Kapalua Bay, Maui When we decided to get married in Hawaii in less than 9 weeks, my bridesmaid did an amazing job locating a few wedding planners on the web. Precious Maui Wedding was the first webpage I look into and after looking at a few others, I knew Precious Maui Wedding was the one to go with. Contacting Deanne was the best ever decision I've ever made. She was easy going, very easy to deal with and she answered every questions and concerns I have. She just have this amazing personality that seems to calm all the nerves of a jittery bride who has to organise a wedding in less than 9 weeks! Within a week, Deanne has guided us through all the necessary procedures and we are all set for the wedding. Deanne continuously keep in contact with us as we get closer to the day and any final details like the bouquet, hair, makeup were all organised before we depart for the wedding. Upon our arrival, Deanne ensures the final details were looked after. All we have to do is just look forward to the day. Everything was smooth sailing on the day and planned well. From hair to makeup, our limo pickup and ceremony, everything was handled so well. After looking through just about every single Maui wedding package online, twice, we decided on Precious Maui Weddings and couldn't be happier! Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful, especially when you're trying to do it from thousands of miles away! With Deanne this was simply not the case. She was extremely helpful and quickly responded to every email sent. Our special day was when Precious Maui Weddings really shined! We went with the gardenia package and added on limo service as well as in-room hair and makeup. Each person we met clearly loved what they did and put their whole heart into their work! LIz, who did my hair and make-up, was so sweet and receptive to what I asked for. She even made sure the make-up she used didn't irritate my skin as it is sensitive. She did such an amazing job of making me look beautiful, I felt so special and pampered! Our limo driver arrived exactly on schedule and did some pretty impressive maneuvering in the tiny Kapalua Bay parking lot! Literally as we pulled in our photographer, Freddie, was there taking pictures. They even rolled out a red carpet for me as I exited the limo, I truly felt like a movie star! Freddie was also very easy to work with and was great at directing the shots while still having fun. Picking the photos for our package was tough as every shot was so great! Deanne greeted us with a warm hug and smile and my beauuuutiful bouquet! Adam was our minister and also did an amazing job. He mixed a heartfelt ceremony with some lighthearted laughter, perfect for us! Overall, Deanne did a great job of orchestrating everything from start to finish and is truly wonderful at what she does! Making the decision to book and plan my wedding through Precious Maui Weddings, Deanne, was nothing short of a great choice. After reading all the wonderful reviews I sent an email off and I heard back within the 24 hour timeline. Yes, sometimes messages returned to me were over the 24 hour time given, but nothing was short by any means. It usually took longer on dates such as , 8-9-10, 9-10-11, long weekends et cetera, because there are so many other brides than myself, and they were getting married on those dates which meand Deanne is busy-busy-busy! The largest piece was, everything came back to me in due time, time spent in person with Deanne never felt rushed despite all the wedding, and she was so kind and gracious. I was planning my wedding for the better part of a year ahead. My husband and I chose a package and added on to it, which was super easy. Deanne provided us with hints and ideas for after and before the wedding, it was great! I do have to say, it makes me sad to read poor reviews of her services, she really puts her heart into each individual wedding. The wedding day was wonderful, I figured I would take everything as it came, if things happened that were not in the cards I would make the most of it, I was married on 11-11-11 and believe me it was a busy day for everyone. I did have a large wedding, about 45 guests, not including myself and my husband Joel. I didn't expect to have Deanne at the wedding, due to the nature of the date, the number of brides other than myself etc, but she was there for most of the ceremony! We felt really lucky, but we would have understood if she couldn't make it. I had my hair done elsewhere, I had my reception at Cafe O'Lei and my wedding cupcakes were taken their via Maui Wedding Cakes. I just returned from Maui and my wedding on 6/2/13 was absolutely perfect!! I honestly could not have asked for anything better. Deanne was so helpful and extremely nice! It was so easy to work with her from start to finish. She was efficient with emails as we tried to put together my package. She always responded to my questions and is knowledgeable about what she does. She provided a couple standard packages, but it was very simple to take out or add things that I did and did not want. I appreciated this flexibility so much! It made it feel like it was truly MY wedding and not the "usual" that other planners wanted you to do. She took care of making all the appointments and it was such a relief once we got to Maui, we could actually just relax and know that everything was taken care of! She make the appointment to get our license; super easy, took 5 minutes and could pre-fill out the paperwork! She made the appointment for the hair and makeup artist to come to my room -- again wonderful! The look was so perfect you would have thought Liz had known me forever, not just met me for the very first time! The photographer she scheduled was wonderful as well! So friendly and got a wide range of photos to capture the day. Everyone enjoyed working with her on our special day. I also had a ukulele player and he was wonderful. Adam Gomez was the JOP that performed the service and he was amazing -- was nice, authentic, and funny. I also gave her some ideas for what I wanted for the flower and they turned out perfectly! Better than I could have even imagined! I would trust any recommendation that Deanne gives you for people in the packages! I'm a firm believer is leaving reviews for my wedding (and whole Hawaii) experience. Everything I chose to do was greatly influenced by Yelp, and I hope I help others in choosing the best! Deanne was fantastic is organizing my wedding in October!! The whole ceremony was flawless, went exactly as I had pictured in my head. Simple and sweet! I started planning my wedding 10 months in advance. Deanne and I played phone tag a few times since we have 6 hours between us (NY vs Hawaii), but since I was planning so far in advance it was not a big deal. We had communicated through phone and email which worked well for us. We only needed 5ish conversations to describe all the plans and wishes. Deanne contacted my the day prior to the wedding (I got lost in being so busy once I got to Maui) to go over final details. I had 30 guests join us in Maui, with the wedding at the beautiful Makena Cove. Deanne met my husband and guests at the beach, organized everyone to what I wanted. And they even saved an up front parking spot for when I got there with my girls - bonus points! My photographer and flowers were waiting for me as soon as I stepped out of the truck, with everyone waiting on the beach for the ceremony. The ceremony was performed by our good friend as an officiant, and Adam Gomes for the Hawaiian prayers (and to make it official). He was a great mix of laughter and seriousness. It really went very well, with the two completing the ceremony. She definitely knows what she's doing, and she does it well. She gets right to the point, gets all the information needed, then delivers a great set-up! The ceremony was everything I had envisioned. I will definitely use Precious Maui Weddings every time!! We used Precious Maui Weddings for our wedding on Sunday May 27, 2018. We had our wedding in Kapalua, Maui & it was perfect. We spent the last year planning everything and Deanne was with us every step of the way. Planning a destination wedding in Maui can be slightly challenging especially when you live on the east coast & have to deal with the time difference. Deanne was very helpful with ideas & recommendations. If we had questions or concerns she was always reachable. Our package included the brides bouquet & we added 4 bridesmaids bouquets along with florals for the reception tables & ceremony arch. All the bouquets & florals were absolutely gorgeous, exactly what we discussed & exceeded our expectations. Our guests complimented all our flowers. We obtained the ukulele player from Precious Maui Weddings. He sang requested songs for our ceremony, first dance & the groom & mother of the groom dance. He sang the songs amazingly & even learned 2 of the songs just to satisfy our requests. The minister was also provided by Deanne & he was fantastic. Our guests complimented how genuine & sincere the minister was along with his charismatic personality. The photographer was also hired through Deanne & I can't wait to see our wedding pictures. I'm sure our wedding photos will be perfect considering the photographer took his time placing everyone for the photos. Deanne was an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I were married in Maui on 6/13/13 with the help of Deanne and Precious Maui weddings. Both my husband and I are detail oriented and used to handling things on our own, but with a wedding in Maui we were looking for someone who would give us a beautiful wedding in paradise. We found this in Deanne from Precioius Maui Weddings. She helped us plan the wedding we have always wanted. I decided on Precious Maui Weddings after reviewing comments for several similar businesses. We were looking for a low frills, beautiful wedding but customer service and making sure we trusted who was working with us was crucial. I decided on Precious Maui Weddings after communicating with a few other companies for questions. Deanne far surpassed our expectations. She was professional, prompt in communicating with us throughout the entire process and ensured all of my questions and concerns were addressed before we even committed to using her business. We decided on using Precious Maui weddings, choose a package for the ceremony and things went smoothly from there on. We were undecided on which beach to use for a wedding site, but Deanne helped with that also, and let us choose once we arrived. When we arrived on the Island, we were able to decide between two locations, and she arranged everything else. We literally showed up dressed and ready and Deanne took care of all the rest! Everything from our Marriage License appointment, to the Rev who married us, to the photographer and her suggestions for dinner reservations were perfect and went on without any issues. For our wedding, I planned it from quite the distance all the way in Fort McMurray Alberta, so when I found out I could hire a wedding planner I was over the moon excited. Little did I know then just how amazing Deanne was to me, she was my eyes and my ears, this lady was nothing short of incredible!! With her impeccable taste and insight I was able to plan my destination wedding in a matter of months. She put me in touch with everyone I needed to know in order to plan my venue, menu, etc and even booked my appointment for me to get our wedding licence. Honestly, at first I was scared to death that something would get confused or misinterpreted due to the distance, but Deanne made planning seamless, I basically would find pictures of items I wanted and she would do her best to deliver. The only thing I really had to worry about was getting my dress, myself and my now husband to the alter . The photography was also an amazing additive, the pictures turned out great and we will cherish them forever. All the individuals that Deanne works with are really well coordinated and communication was never a problem. Deanne was quick to return all my calls and frantic emails and took the time to listen to what I really wanted for my wedding. I just recently returned from Maui where my family and I had the good fortune to have had hired Deanne and Precious Maui Weddings team to arrange our dream 25th wedding anniversary vow renewal ceremony. And a dream it was from the moment we stepped out of the limo, to the beautiful ceremony, to the amazing photo shoot. Deanne was nothing but professional, no pressure, super easy to work with and very accommodating from the very first time I emailed her about six months ago. The arrangements were completed mostly through email with a few phone calls and I can assure you, your emails and phone calls will be returned promptly. There were other weddings going on that same evening in Kapalua Bay, but we felt entirely alone and with each other. Everything was absolutely perfect from the gorgeous bouquet (which looked exactly like the photo I emailed to Deanne!) to the amazing team of people she works with. Our minister was sincere and funny and easy going and spiritual all rolled into one person which was exactly what we were looking for. What a lovely couple - the perfect professional photographers but bonus round is that they are sweet and caring people - I felt like they were dear friends of ours who just happened to be taking our wedding photos!
