Lori and her team at Tropical Maui Weddings exceeded all our expectations and made our wedding day truly magical and stress-free! This review is embarrassingly overdue, as we have just celebrated our 3rd anniversary. But I can still say that the service we got from Lori and her team were excellent. Lori has a time tested process for gathering information for all her weddings, and the planning and organization of all aspects leading up to the event were great. There were a million decisions we had to make while planning our wedding, and Lori guided us through this process all the way through- flowers, tables and chairs, music, food, drinks, wardrobe, makeup, etc. etc. And once the day arrived, Lori and team were on-site from dawn to dusk, ensuring that the plan we so carefully prepared was executed flawlessly. Her goal is for the wedding couple to enjoy their day, without having to lift a finger and to be completely stress-free. I think we appreciated that the most (especially after seeing how stressed many of our friends were at their own weddings because they didn't have Lori!) There are so many good things to say about Lori and her team at Tropical Maui Weddings. My wife and I absolutely loved their services. Throughout the entire experience Lori and the rest of the TMW team made us really feel like family. We will forever be thankful for everything they did. Wow! Wow! Wow! Just amazing! Lori at Tropical Maui Weddings is incredible. She and her husband Jamie exceeded our expectations by miles! Our wedding - true to form (unfortunately) - had an immense challenge preventing us from being able to have it on Tue Aug 28; the Category 5 Hurricane Lane in late Aug 2018 that hovered in front of the Big Island and creating a ton of rain for Maui. We were closely watching the news and weather channel, and keeping in constant touch with Lori, who provided so much frequent real-time info. The night before we were to leave for Maui, we were sweating our decision to continue with the wedding, fearing we may be having our family and friends fly into harms-way. Lori was very supportive and reassuring as to what it was like on Maui with Hurricane Lane slamming the islands and not leaving! Ultimately we left the decision to Alaska Airlines, and captain Andy assured us our flight into Maui would be smooth and easy. We were 2 of 6 passengers with a full crew and had a great 1st class flight over with our now favorite captain and crew! However, we were the last flight out of the Bay Area, and Canada. All our family and friends had their flights cancelled. 36hours later all flights were back up and everyone was rebooking their flights thankfully. In the meantime on the island, Lori and team were organizing and conducting weddings successfully, but Hurricane Lane, not leaving or moving more than 2mph, battered Maui harder. Our family and friends were on their way, as we stocked their rooms and condo's with provisions to survive a few days in case it got worse. We inquired with Lori about possibly moving our wedding from Tue to Wed 29Sep, as we had some guests who couldn't arrive now until Tuesday. Lori, calm, reassuring, and juggling an increasing amount of changes and rescheduling weddings that are being upended, said she would get back with us within 2 hours!! And she did. And with news that our Olowalu location and all the vendors were holding Tue & Wed available for us. Wow! Right?! Incredible. We chose Wed immediately. Lori had it arranged within another hour with all the vendors and Olowalu. Incredible. We were so thankful. Some of the weddings on the island were cancelled due to Hurricane Lane and on Tue 28Sep, the fires that sparked in Lahaina, consuming 9 homes and I believe extinguishing one life. It was heartbreaking. Wildfires during a Cat5 Hurricane?! How?! Lori and her team were amazing - what they all had to deal with, cancelations, rescheduling possibilities, managing and coordinating vendors and wedding locations, stressed out bride & grooms, including us. Lori and Tropical Maui Weddings are worth every dollar! Lori also helped us immensely by offering up the wedding decorations she has available from previous weddings that she's collected over the years, that we could chose from. And we did! Our decorations were perfect! All from her collection. It was very endearing to spend so much time with Lori, her husband Jamie at their house choosing everything and finalizing decisions. We were made to feel like family - they made our entire wedding planning, wedding ceremony, and reception, an amazing experience. At no point did it feel like we just had a Project Manager plan our wedding and reception - we had an empathic, personable, capable expert who can clearly manage multiple projects wit the same personable touch and passion, attention to details that make all the difference. And she is very familiar with Olowalu, which also gave us confidence we had the right planner. Jamie also is an incredible musician who we had play at our wedding and also ran the music at our reception - above and beyond! Amazing! Not even sure where to begin!!! I got married 3 days ago and I'm still on a wedding day high. All my friends and family keep saying that this is the best and the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. I'm so happy with everything and it's everything that I've ever wanted, and more! About 8 months before my destination wedding, I contacted white orchids wedding. I spoke with Steven, who wasn't really responsive to my emails and calls. I felt unappreciated and uncomfortable having him as a potential coordinator. When you're planning a wedding from the mainland, you really want to trust in your coordinator. And I felt that I couldn't put my fate in him. So after researching on Yelp and online, I found Lori and contacted her immediately. She called me back the same day I left her a message. We clicked right away and I just trusted my instinct to go with TMW. We mostly communicated via emails. We also texted when it came close to my wedding date and 2 skype calls to plan out details. Lori is usually responsive unless she's super busy with her current weddings. There were several times when we didn't really hear from her and we did panic. Especially before 1 month and half before our turn. She did have good reasons to why she was aloof during those times. A few days before our wedding, we met with her at her house and quickly went through an informal rehearsal and chose from props in her garage to borrow. And she has A LOT of goodies!! It's like a mini wedding accessory store!! On the day of the wedding, we went through another very quick run down of the ceremony. It was rather fast and there were lots of mistakes. But at the same time, that is totally us and we wouldn't be together if that didn't happen. Haha. But in all seriousness, I'm sure if we would've spoken up, she probably would've gone a little slower and a bit more thorough. We had our wedding at the Olowalu plantation house and it was so beautiful, spacious and it looked like a movie scene. The beach is not sandy and it's rocky. And there is a pier that extends out to the water. House is very cute but it does get warm. There's also a bricked area by the grass where guests can dance. We had 45 guests, 2 lantern strings that lighted our 5 tables pretty brightly. I also highly recommend the light to illuminate the ocean! It was beautiful, otherwise it would just be pitch black and you wouldn't be able to see the ocean while having dinner. As for the vendors, Lori did an awesome job with recommendations. The only problem I had was her travel agent, Amanda. I didn't end up going with her services and I won't go into details. Majority of the vendors were AMAZING!! The two celebrities of the wedding were Stacey (Maui bars are us) and our officiant, Pastor Kale. Guests were raving about them!! With many people raving about Andrew the musician as well. Here are the vendors we chose: Hair and make up- Meili and Bree (omg I loved it! I looked flawless and my hair was soo beautiful!! Loved how Meili fixed my makeup if I wasn't happy with something) Officiant- Pastor Kale (he gave us a beautiful ceremony. It was light, funny, and very touching) Bartender- Stacey from Maui bars are us (bubbly personality, great communication via emails, pleasure to work with and drinks were strong and delicious) everyone had a great time drunk time! Photographer- Ka'ua (pictures turned out amazing!! l highly recommended). Videographer- Craig (He's the most affordable but you get what you pay for..angles colors, and perspectives were off. Almost looked like someone recorded with their own camcorder. Good if you want the basics). Dj- DJ Scott ( he was a great MC and got the party started!! He studied the instructions I gave him and was on point!! Only thing was I wish the mic sound was a little louder) Caterers- Cafe O Lei (the appetizers were amazing!! We picked coconut shrimp, brie sandwiches, stuffed mushrooms and sliders. My favorites were the mushrooms and brie sandwiches. Yum!! The beef short ribs were a bit on the salty side. But everything was packed with flavor) Cake- Sugar Beach Bakery (lilikoi with coconut buttercream cake..it was delicious, colorful, rich and creamy but a bit pricey) Florist- Andrea (a bit disappointing the flowers/ arch design weren't what we had in mind from the pictures we sent) Musician- Andrew on the ukulele (everyone loved the music and it was beautiful! I didn't get a chance to listen but yeah we heard it was heavenly!! We sent him a list of ceremony music we wanted and he delivered...very happy with the results) Overall, I'm very happy with Lori and the quality she delivered. One thing I will say is that we were supposed to be out of the plantation house by 10 and done by 9:30. Our time got cut super short. And everything was packed suddenly. We were married in May 2016 on Maui at the beautiful Olowalu Plantation House. We live in Los Angeles so we knew that planning a destination would be challenging. Luckily we found Lori !! My wife and I got married in May at Sugarman Estate (Honua Kai Lani) in Maui, with around 60 guests. The whole event was fantastic and this was in no small part due to the incredible service provided by Tropical Maui Weddings. Lori Lawrence worked with us for months in advance to help us plan all the details, and she was a total pleasure to work with. Professional, reliable, knowledgeable and very friendly - we were extremely grateful and happy to have her on board, both for the planning process and for the wedding day. She was as hands-on as she needed to be, and it was very reassuring to know that she was there for us from start to finish. The peace of mind she provided, aside from the technical support, was invaluable. Her assistant, Jackie, was also great - very helpful and efficient. We also hired Lori's husband, Jamie, to sing for us at the wedding, and he was absolutely terrific. A beautiful voice, and great musician - and a really nice guy. If you're looking for some wonderful musical accompaniment for your big day, look no further. He can sing in English or Hawaiian, and plays a variety of instruments - whatever you need. Upon arriving in Maui we were kindly hosted by Lori and Jamie at their beautiful home to go over all the wedding details, and Lori also allowed us to borrow some wedding items from her extensive collection of paraphernalia...items for center-pieces, parasols and so on. She has a ton of useful, decorative pieces that can come in handy. Lori was so helpful that, the day before the wedding when time was tight, she even kindly made a quick shopping trip into Kahului to grab something for my wife's wedding dress so it would fit perfectly. It was this kind of extra service and kindness that really stood out. Lori has been doing this long enough that she's also fully connected with many of the other wedding vendors, and it was through her recommendations that we were able to hire the people we needed. For each vendor (e.g. caterer) she would provide a few options, and some background on price/quality/reputation of each one. She was also very happy to have us hire them through her, as part of the overall wedding package, or to let us contact them and hire them directly ourselves. We were very happy with all of our vendors, and highly recommend all of them. We got married in September 2016 at Olowalu Plantation House. This was a destination wedding for us as we are from the Bay Area. We are so thankful to have Lori and her husband Jamie for our wedding. Lori and her staff is really knowledgeable. They have excellent list of vendors that they recommend and for you to choose from. Lori will provide her advice when you need help with the vendors. She will make sure you are comfortable with everything you choose. She is also really well connected and helps you work within your budget. Unlike most brides & grooms, we were fortunate enough to meet Lori and Jamie about 10 months before our wedding as we attended a wedding in Hawaii. Lori and Jamie was very friendly people. Lori is really sweet also. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The week of our wedding was actually one of the worse storm week in Maui in the last 20 years. Lori constantly messaged us to keep us up to date on the weather. She immediately got a tent for us as precaution. We ended up not needing it as the day of our wedding actually turned out to be one of the hottest day but Lori stayed on top of things. Another positive is Lori has a lot of goodies which she will let you borrow. Her garage is filled with wedding decors and accessories. Its a dreamland for brides as it saves you a lot of money renting them or bringing your own from a distance. The only thing that had us nervous at times was her response time. Lori is really popular so sometime her response time may take awhile. So if your a bride that need immediate responses and emails everyday, you may want to reconsider. What she may be lacking in response time, she more than makes up for it in the service she provides. Lori will get it done. Overall, our wedding was beyond what we expected. My longest review on Yelp EVER :) :) We were just married at Olowalu Plantation on 11/15/2014 :) Lori was our wedding coordinator and Jamie, her husband, was our ceremony and cocktail hour musician. Together, they are the dream team that is...Tropical Maui Weddings! It's hard to know where to start, because I am so completely gushy over the whole experience! I am still coming down from the high that was our dream wedding in Maui. But writing this review was one of the first things on my post-wedding "to-do list," because Lori is such an amazing wedding planner, and made all of my wedding dreams come true. If you read nothing else, here are the reasons why Lori is the best wedding coordinator for your Maui wedding. She is: Super organized. Totally laid back & friendly. Reassuring. Trustworthy. Knows the industry on the island and recommends the BEST vendors on Maui for your wedding. Has your back from start to finish. When you're a bride planning any wedding, especially a destination wedding, TRUST in your wedding planner is a must. From my first phone conversation with Lori, I knew she was the one! LOL. It sounds cheesy, but choosing your wedding coordinator is a big deal. You have to be able to communicate effectively and feel totally at ease with them. Her vibe is so easygoing, laid back, warm and friendly. She made it easy for us to find a connection and trust her 110%. I even connected with some of her previous brides, who Lori introduced to me as her references. (What's up Betty! Hi Heidi!) and it's super neat that we now share some of the same experiences. We started planning our wedding about 11 months prior to the wedding date. In the beginning, I had a couple of phone conversations with Lori to establish the big picture: what type of wedding, how many guests, etc. I knew I wanted to get married at a private estate, and Olowalu was my first choice. We were told that Lori was the most experienced and favored wedding planner at Olowalu, so that was icing on the cake. In the early months, you should expect a little less contact than you will receive closer to your wedding date. Lori is honest (and super nice!) about putting her brides first (for example, your email might have to wait if there's a bride whose wedding is that week) - and I not only understood that, I appreciated it. Because when it came time for my wedding, I knew Lori would give me her undivided attention and focus. 90% of our communications were by email, which is great because it allowed me to contact her at my convenience around my full-time job schedule, and also keeps everything on record to refer back to later. Trust me, you're going to forget some of the details and rely on those emails to remind you what your own choices were! ;) She makes the planning process easy and puts a range of vendors (caterers, makeup artists, photographers, videographers, etc.) in front of you. She can also make recommendations within those, based on what your wedding vision is. I have to say our wedding was a total success because of the vendors she recommended -- they were all truly the best of the best. Plus, they all had wonderful things to say about Lori, not like we needed the reassurance, but it's nice to know she is highly regarded in the industry / on the island. I flew to Maui 3 mos. before my wedding date to meet our vendors, and Lori set our appointments with all of them, making it an easy and stress-free process for us. I recommend a trip to the island prior to your wedding day to meet your vendors in person -- it's just nice to get to know them and have a crystal clear idea of what to expect on your wedding day. We loved all of our vendors and had a blast meeting with them! For the ones we could not meet in person, she helped us coordinate a Skype meeting, which worked perfectly. Lori kept our budget exactly where we needed it to be, and was super flexible when I changed my mind on a few of our details. On the day of the wedding, she oversees all of the details, from ceremony to cake cutting to reception, and makes sure the day runs seamlessly. She checks in with you periodically, and keeps you and your bridal party on schedule (without feeling like she's rushing you -- which is a superpower in itself). I found out later that she even ran to the store to buy us bug spray, without me asking her. Turns out that was a life saver because the bridal party got a few bites under the mango tree before photos :) It's little details like that, doing things behind the scenes without worrying you or charging you for it, that show how amazing a wedding coordinator she is. At the end of our wedding night, my parents (who also LOVE Lori & Jamie), told Jamie how wonderful Lori had been during the entire planning process. He simply told them, "She is good at it because she just loves doing this. She loves her job." And I can personally tell you, it shows...in everything she does. After one conversation with her, I knew she was the one and I actually based our wedding date on whether she was available! First of all, I cannot say enough about how warm, friendly and welcoming Lori makes you feel, even over the telephone. You can tell right away that she is a person who truly loves her job and is exceptional at what she does. And let me tell you, she proved how valuable she was time and time again throughout the planning process and all the way up until after the wedding. Being far away, and having never visited Maui before, I had no idea where to begin with choosing vendors. Lori made that process so easy. She presented me with several vendors for each category in a range of prices so I could decide if I wanted to splurge on that area or not. And since she's worked with so many people in the industry in Hawaii for so long, she has very helpful insight and recommendations. I never once felt pressured to go with a certain vendor. She always took my concerns into consideration and guided us to choosing what worked best for us in terms of what we envisioned and also what our budget was. We cannot put into words how perfect our wedding day was. Lori's guidance with the vendors helped make our dream day a reality and actually it was even better than I imagined. We had about 50 of our family members and close friends there with us. Another beaming 5-star review for TM Weddings, but it is so deserved. Simply put, Lori is amazing. She is so sweet and friendly and her main priority is making your dream wedding a reality. Planning a destination wedding from 3,000 miles away has it's challenges, but Lori will put you at ease. She had amazing vendor recommendations, respected our budget and made the process stress free. We also saved a lot of money by using Lori- we got some great deals due to her extensive network and great relationships with so many of the vendors on Maui. My husband and I came for a pre-wedding visit to meet some of our vendors (and Lori!) and she set up everything perfectly. It was definitely a sign of things to come for our actual wedding! No request was bothersome and even though I'm very type A (I was probably Lori's most annoying and over bearing bride), she took everything in stride and made me feel like I wasn't crazy! She's incredibly organized and remembered every little detail I had asked about, even if it was months prior. Fast forward to our wedding day, it was BEYOND what I had imagined. It was so beautiful and I was so happy with our vendors and how the look came together. It was truly better than I could have imagined. I can't say enough good things about Lori and Jamie of Tropical Maui Weddings. They were recommended to me by the property manager at Olowalu Plantation House and I completely understand why they are the best planners on Maui!! My husband and I were married at Olowalu in May of 2010 and we hired them to help us plan in addition to the day of services. Every vendor they suggest is the absolute best!! Richard Marks photography, Virgie the florist, Jessica Waite for Makeup, Aloha Events for Catering and Stacey from Maui Bars were all great. Side note-The food at Aloha is a little more expensive but amazing and a gorgeous presentation. I was definitely on the higher maintenance side in terms of my extremely specific wants for linens, chairs, makeup, flowers etc and Lori stopped at nothing to help me find EXACTLY what I was looking for. A planner might seem expensive as a line item in the budget, but they saved us money and time by making sure we had reliable vendors. Last but not least, check out her husband Jamie Lawrence on the web. His voice is absolutely beautiful. We hired him during our ceremony, cocktail reception, and to play during dinner. When it was time to dance, he played music on a iPod through his system(our playlist). When my husband and I decided to get married in Maui we knew we were going to need to find an excellent wedding planner. My partner and I are from Australia and when we decided to have our wedding in Maui we didn't have a clue how we were going to organise a wedding in a different country (which we had never been to)! Fortunately we found Lori and she took charge straight away. It was so reassuring having someone on the ground in Hawaii with our best interests at heart. Lori is so fantastic. She takes the stress right out of the wedding planning process. We visited Hawaii about a year out from the wedding and Lori welcomed us into her home and organised all our appointments with vendors while we were there. It was like having my very own personal assistant. I pretty much didn't have to lift a finger. Unfortunately we had to make the sad decision to cancel our Hawaiian wedding because the Australian dollar had fallen so low, so we never made it to the big day with Lori. But she was great about that as well. She totally understood and cancelled the venue and any vendors booked for us. She promptly refunded us the money we had paid to her so far (minus a very reasonable fee for her services up to that point). We were very sad not to take our wedding through to its conclusion with Lori. I know she would have made it such a wonderful day! Where do I begin? We booked TMW 12 months prior to our wedding. In the first couple months Lori was nothing but helpful. She spent over an hour on the phone with me each time we spoke, listening to my ideas and making recommendations. We exchanged numerous emails, and I included word docs of my vision and what I wanted. She was thorough and detailed when emailing me a list of vendors to look through so that I can gather my thoughts and ideas because they kept changing. At first, when I didn't receive immediate response from Lori, I thought maybe she was ignoring me. In fact she was actually working with her brides that were getting married that month, and told me when it's my turn, she will be giving me her undivided attention. I totally understood and appreciated her prioritization and honesty as she still got back to me in a timely matter. Some brides may not understand that and demand her 24/7. We met Lori and Jamie 6 months prior to our wedding in their beautiful home, greeted with hawaiian donuts and coffee. She had our timeline written out for us with table seatings and cute drawings of our wedding party line up. Lori also brought samples of luxury table linens, napkin ring holders, and charger plates for me to look at. She has a storage with tons of items previous brides left behind for furture brides to use. There are parasols, picture frames, candle holders, vases, pens, shells, giant crystal gems, various baskets for flower girls, charger plates, table numbers, etc. Lori set aside all the items I picked out and saved it aside for me to use at the wedding. Fast forward to our wedding day on the first day of summer, I can not praise enough how well my wedding was executed. Because I'm so particularly picky with a specific vision, I lowered my expectation on the outcome so I didn't get too disappointed if it didn't come out how I wanted it. Most destination weddings I've seen are very simple, especially in Maui. I was over the top surprised at how PERFECT and PRECISE my wedding turned out. Lori knew exactly what I wanted from my floral vision (working so closely with Lois.. which is another story and review), my tablescape, my ceremony, music, and my candy station. She couldn't have pulled it out of my brain any better. On the day of the wedding, Lori/ Jamie brought all the decor and set everything up with their team. Everything went so smoothly except for my cake. The cake did not turn out to be ANYTHING close to what I ordered and it was missing the sugar flower and cake stand. Lori saved the day and went out of her way to call around to see which baker can make the sugar flower and deliver it to the venue before I noticed. She also got her hands on the cake stand just in time too! Who does that? Only a coordinator who truely cares would do that. Because the baker had messed up on the cake so bad (it did not look like the picture I sent them), Lori and Jamie took it upon themselves to take the worry and burden of the cake off our hands. Truly life savers and so generous. I know that they had to pay the extra baker for the flower and delivery but they didn't even charge me for that. This is what a true wedding planner does. They do things for you so that you don't even notice anything is wrong. Jamie sang so perfectly at our wedding my friends thought there was a CD playing in the background. Everyone was so amazed and entertained by his sweet beautiful voice. At the end of the night, Jamie and Lori stay behind to collect all of our belongings, pack everything up, and took it back to their house for us to pick up. We had so much to pack. Our photobooth backdrop, apothecary jars and candies, flowers, my charger plates, and all my candle votives I brought. It's quite a lot of work but they pull it off on all on their own. Lori also SAVED my life when she found me my make up artist Meili. During my visit in January I did a trial with a different make up artist out in Wailea. It was absolutely hideous, I was teaching her how to contour my face. All the other make up artists were booked and not really my style. I was so bummed and accepted the fact that I was going to do my own makeup on my wedding day. I was going for a glam look with lots of contour and Lori introduced me to Meili, an international make up artist who executed my exact style. I love Meili! My advice to those who are looking are to figure out what you want, and send Lori lots of pictures and explain what you like about the photo so she can grasp your entire concept. Lori will never rip you off and she has the best prices on the island. She has discount rates with vendor which she shares with you. Most coordinators add a % on top of vendor fees, but not Lori. Highly recommend you book vendors through TMW bc they will handle all issues for you. I had the most stress free happy wedding. Lori & Jamie will always have a special place in our hearts, and we miss and love you both so much! read more

Heartbreaking experience working with Tropical Weddings Maui, which is not what you want when planning your wedding. I found Lori to be unresponsive and unprofessional. She asked for her fee upfront, before I could even tell her what type of wedding we wanted. When we did talk, it always felt very rushed and she was extremely pushy about her services. Rather than listening to me explain what I wanted, she told me what to do, which wasn't what I wanted at all. While I envisioned a small wedding at a vacation house, she insisted there was no such thing on Maui and pushed me into either a $20,000 plantation house or a bar in Lahaina. Our wedding turned into someone else's vision and I was distraught. I started looking on my own for vacation rentals that had wedding permits and found dozens, and also found the most easy-going and professional wedding coordinator/caterer at Food for the Soul. Lori refused to refund her fee (to her credit, the agreement dose say no refunds), but I was even further crushed because all she had done was talked at me over the phone twice. She hadn't done any work towards my wedding yet. She ended up refunding half of her fee and $2,000 seemed worth it just to get out of having to work with her. read more

What a great decision this was! Lori was our dream wedding coordinator. She literally handled all of our wedding ceremony decisions for us and all we had to do was email with her about our desires and budget. We literally landed in Maui a few days before the ceremony, had an impromptu 15 minute rehearsal in her living room, and a couple of days later had a flawless wedding ceremony with all our friends and family there for us. It could not have been easier! Her husband Jamie is a guitar player and also performed at our ceremony which was fantastic. She recommended Pastor Laki who is a legitimate 100% hawaiian who officiated for us in both english and Hawaiian. Lori is connected to all the best wedding vendors on the island. Lori and Jamie are amazing! Not only are they good at what they do; they are good people. I genuinely feel a connection to the two of them and felt sad after the wedding that I would no longer be in close communication with them but as Lori promised, we have not lost touch. Lori did such a wonderful job of taking care of every single detailed request I had. Now, word to the wise, if you are a "type A" Cali girl like me, take a chill pill! You're getting married in Hawaii and "Hawaiian time" is a real thing. People are relaxed and are not in a constant rush like I am. I hired Lori a year before my wedding and was ready to hit the ground running and when it took her a couple of days or so to reply, I would get stressed out. Rest assured, not only is she going to take care of it, she will do such a good job taking care of it that you will not have to think about it again. I did not lift a figure during the day of the wedding. I was fortunate enough to get married at Olowalu Plantation House and sat on the porch the whole morning and watched the ocean. Lori had everything under control and I never did a thing or answered a question other than, "what would you like to drink?" Lori had it all under control and made my wedding picture perfect! There was not a single thing I would have changed. Everything I had pictured in my mind for my wedding day was now a reality. Lori kept the timeline and vendors in order and I had to put zero thought into anything the day of because Lori had it all covered. Even at the end of the night when there's a million things to do and wrap up, Lori had it all packed up and ready for us to go. She even made sure the sentimental items were well taken care of and wrapped up so that they would not get lost or damaged. If it matters to you, it matters to Lori. You cannot go wrong with Lori. She is warm, friendly and very professional. And then there's Jamie. Sweet, sweet Jamie. He sang at our cocktail hour and his voice was heaven. After the ceremony and the chaos of photos and family, hearing Jamie's soothing voice just made it all go away. These two are one amazing package deal! They feel like family and that's saying so much! There's so much that I can write in this review about all the wonderful things they did and all the things that they took care of but really all I feel like a bride needs to know is that Lori and Jamie will make sure that your big day will be perfect and they will love you and help you like you are their own daughter.
