The massage beds at Kura Door got a big upgrade years ago to medical beds so you can get maneuvered into positions that are more optimal to get certain muscles. Ugh! I can't love this place enough. I've seen some studios charge upwards of 33% more to wax a male...so that was what hooked me! I showed up yesterday and was immediately comfortable being around her and her nicely decorated studio suite (yes, images of cats are everywhere as one would expect. ) I've also been enjoying her crazy, clever, and humorous sales graphics/adverts on her website and Instagram sites as they are a real kick to read. Lex was just like an old friend that I'd known for years, I was THAT comfortable around her. In fact, I learned more about skin, skincare, and waxing from her in just this one appointment than all the research I've done over these many years...all while getting up the courage to pull the trigger on my first wax! Lex is a wealth of knowledge on the subject and offers a complete array of esthetic services and 'cosmeceuticals' for her clientele...besides just waxing.
