This was my second time bringing my vehicle to Precision Auto Body & Detail. They have always done good work, or so I thought. Overall, the quality of their service and what they guarantee is spot on, but the attention to detail is lacking, heavily. For $400 I should be getting top-notch service. I should be the VIP of your establishment for the day! And I wasn't. Honestly, it's just simple things that shouldn't be overlooked that truly matter. What does a $400 "Complete Auto Detailing" get you? PROS: Exterior - Wash, Dry, Clay Bar, Wax, Protective Sealant, Wheel cleaning, and Tire shine. Your vehicle will glisten almost to perfection in a way that is showroom quality. Interior - As they claim, "a complete shampoo of the interior including the carpets, seats and floormats." And this is where it stops. CONS: Honor the time agreement! I booked my appointment on Tuesday 3/17 for Friday 3/20 and was told to drop my vehicle off between 8 and 8:30am. So I arrived at 815a on the day of my appointment, only to find that the front office door was locked, dark and unoccupied on the inside. It's not a good business practice to tell clients to arrive or be somewhere at a certain time and you, yourself, are not there. Exterior - No attention to detail for the small things. It's easy to spray on car washing foam and then pressure wash it off. But when you overlook the wheel wells that's an issue. The area that a spray wash just doesn't get it. Don't call yourself a "detailing shop" if you're not going to take the time to look at and address the minor details. My vehicle is White, and just like a Black car, it shows the dirt along with everything else. Had you been paying attention, you would have and should have caught this. Don't be afraid to get down on your hands and knees and put some "elbow grease" scrubbing effort into thoroughly cleaning ALL the parts that needed to be cleaned. If there's paint and clearcoat, it shouldn't be overlooked. Interior - While they also clean and wipe the door panels, dashboard or door jambs, this is where they fell short with the quality of service by my standards. My interior gas cap door was not cleaned/wiped. The engine hood was not opened nor was it wiped and cleaned either. (See pictures) It's not like I was asking for a steam cleaning of the engine bay, but nonetheless, it's a door with a crease and hinges. If your claim is "we wipe the door panels and door jambs," under the hood shouldn't have been overlooked. Again, details matter. Honestly, you didn't even try and make an attempt and it shows. The sad thing about this whole process compared to other detail shops is they don't "Deliver" your car to you. They don't walk you out to your vehicle and go over the details of everything that they did and inquire about your level of satisfaction. Because if it's not right they'll fix it. Unfortunately at Precision Auto Body & Detail you just walk in, pay, get your keys back, and then off you go. On to the next one. I've been to other auto detail shops that treat you like royalty from start to finish that are equally comparable in price. Maybe I'll spend the extra $200 somewhere else going forward, that I know for certain won't overlook the simple and minor details. read more

It was not until recently that my partner and I needed to get our cars fixed. My partner unfortunately had to get his car fixed in 2 occasions in which he got hit by two different people and my dad always recommended to go here and work with Hermes. Hermes is the best person that we have dealt with when it comes to car repairs. In moments like these you need people that are super knowledgeable but most importantly empathetic. Hermes hits all of this points and his communication is top notch. He has helped us both 3 times so far and has left our cars brand new. Amazing service ! I could not get there during normal business hours but they offer after hour drop off which was easy and straightforward. The next morning, I already received a call with an update on my car, and they already contacted insurance. Throughout the time my car was there I received frequent updates via text messages and images. The day that my car was ready, Hermes came out and took his time to explain all of the repairs completed, I received a break down of the parts replaced and cost that was all straight forward and easy to understand. Got to give credit where credit is due!! This business from the start was VERY professional and personable. My car insurance company referred me to Precision as a choice and let me tell you they did me a HUGE favor. The whole process with Precision body shop was seamless from the first point of contact. My guy was Hermes & he was fantastic! He kept me in the loop as the repairs were happening sending pictures during the whole process. He was funny, professional & personable & it was not only him but also my first point of contact when I walked into the business which was Yolanda. When you walk into a company and you talk to whomever is at the front desk, they are the face of this company & she represents them well. Customer service skills a "10"! . She was so welcoming and personable just like Hermes. I'm telling you if you pick Precision you can't go wrong. The work they did to my car was beautiful and when I got it back, it looked just about brand new like when I bought it off the car lot. The other thing is, they are pretty quick they actually finished under the time allotment that they originally gave me. If you're debating about using this company, don't even bother to debate just make that appointment with them. Terrible body shop. Took a car here to get it fixed. After they gave the car back, one day later the wheel came off the axle or the control arm, I'm not exactly sure what the part is but the wheel came off the car. This is very dangerous and should not be happening if they said my car was ready to go.. they tried to put the blame on us and say that I must've hit something or somebody else did when I didn't even have the car for 24 hrs. This body shop is shady and the just want your money and insurance money and they will do anything to get it. They got $20,000 between me and the insurance and still couldn't fix a car properly. They tried to say a scratch on the rim was the cause of why the wheel came off. If you want to keep your car don't bring it here!!!! Getting a quote from this shop is impossible! It's been over a week and they still haven't responded to me my phone calls for my quote. I took the car in on Friday morning for an estimate and the supervisor said I will have the estimate by that Friday afternoon. Which never happened so I called back on Monday. The receptionist said it would be available on Wednesday late afternoon which still wasn't available. I called the shop again the next day and still received the same response which was it will be available by late afternoon. Which also never happened. I was involved in a collision about a month ago and was referred to bring my Tesla model 3 into Precision. Friends told me they were Tesla approved and did great work. I met with Harley and he was super friendly and detail oriented. He noticed every damage there was on my car and noted them. It took almost a whole month for my car to be completely fixed because my insurance company was being a pain. Harley kept me updated constantly with what was going on between insurance, Tesla parts, and repairs being made to my car. Once I got my car back, it was practically brand new! I was in a head on collision and in an instant my beautiful car was gone. Even though I didn't know it at the time, (Precision knew) Bella would be a total (I was trying to work my way through a concussion and physical injuries). Precision prepared me for the worst. The people at Precision were great. I even got a tour of the Boss's office - Go Steelers! Precisions advice was spot on all the way. Precision helped us with the cleaning out of my car, no questions asked. But I digress. My insurance unfortunately did not have Precision on their list of approved centers, so CSAA pushed my wife and I to empty (in a blink of an eye) and abandon my beautiful "Bella" so CSAA could pick it up asap. Precision was very understanding when CSAA wasn't. For future reference, it is our hope that Precision become a Preferred Provider for CSAA (one of the largest insurers in the USA). We hope that Precision will have a storage fee system in place that takes into consideration the Customer, and the Insurer. It can be expensive to store automobiles, especially when a customer unbeknownst abandons it. Customers should be more responsible and considerate. read more

Brought my genesis in for an exterior detail and they did not disappoint! You have to call and make an appointment to get it done and it's an all day process so make sure you have your transportation needs taken care of. I couldn't bring my car in the morning so I was able to drop it off the day before and they were very accommodating with my schedule. I had some cement spots that splattered on the car which has been bothering me for a while. Told them what I needed done and what areas to not touch because of fresh paint and they delivered. One time the wash took longer than 60-90 minutes and they knocked off about $5-$10 for the inconvenience. Precision Body Shop & Detail made a terrible situation the best, most satisfying that it could be for me. 11 days before I was supposed to drive to San Diego and 12 days before Thanksgiving, I got flat tire while visiting from out of state. Three days later , while still waiting at the tire center for tires to come in, someone broke into my car leaving the front driver side window smashed in. I am worried, panicked, and stressed that I am supposed to leave town in 6 days and I am down to 2.5 of those being business days. Precision Body Shop & Detail began with towing my non-drivable car (due to the flat). They then worked with me every step of the way as I navigated getting the car towed back to the tire center to have tires installed so that the car could be drivable, having a new glass installed despite the weekend and upcoming holiday week, performing their insurance appraisal for repair, AND were even able to give me an amazing detail. They and Hermes made my time well worth it and the appraisal was not compromised. The customer service was beyond phenomenal as they very well could have treated me like a numbered customer on their list. Instead, they ensured that my unfairly tight timeline was met.
