I of course didn't not believe him and ended up going to another chiropractor that was referred to me by a friend. Finally I have to say that Dr. Kenneth at Chiropractor center in Woodland Hills is amazing and was able to determine the exact cause of my pain on the 1st visit and was able to help me tremendously. As a result of a workplace injury, I was already struggling with pain in neck, shoulder, upper back, and left arm for several weeks when I suddenly started having lower back pain that was traveling down my leg and back. Like so many others I fell victim to the pandemic blues, I was barley active. In July I decided to do some major updates to my back yard- I did the work mostly by myself. After two weeks of putting my body through hell I started having major back pain, I thought it was just my sciatica nerve. Day after day the pain got worse, I was in pain all day, I wasn't able to sleep throughout the night, I was barely walking, major tingling down my leg all the way to my foot. I went to see the doc, he confirmed it was a herniated disk. After going two times a week for about three weeks I was pretty much at 90%. ... I FINALLY got out of my way and went to see a Chiropractor ‍ today. Turns out I don't have Tennis Elbow like my primary care doctor told me I had. I have Subluxation or Dislocation of the Radial Head causing pain in the Radius and Ulna. This was confirmed within the first 15 minutes of my visit by doing two simple tests specific for Tennis Elbow, that I passed with flying colors. If you're wondering why I hadn't seen a Chiropractor sooner, there's 3 reasons: 1). I thought Chiropractors only worked on the back. 2). When I learned they did more than that, I was scared to go because of a terrible experience I had back in 2014 pertaining to my back. 3). I didn't want to spend the money on something I was certain wasn't going to help me. The lesson- One bad experience does not translate to future bad experiences. BE OPEN MINDED. Sometimes you need some extra help and you should explore all options instead of writing them off as if you already know what the outcome will be. Today's visit was awesome and left me feeling extremely hopeful. I had several treatments that included electric current therapy (I was already doing this at home), ultrasound therapy, massage therapy, some adjustments, strength tests and cupping (shown in picture & looks nasty). My elbow already feels A MILLION TIMES BETTER!! I wish I would've made this appointment months ago when my friend, Andrea, told me how a chiropractor helped her with her knee. I've had chronic back pain most of my life and a relatively successful back surgery about 9 years. A few weeks ago however, I began to experience terrible back pain again. I would like to start my review by saying Dr. Luis changed my life! I have been going to my Kaiser doctor for over three months now and all I heard is I needed surgery because of my hand pain and carpal tunnel syndrome. I've been suffering from sciatic nerve pain for more than a year (probably even longer); walking with a limp, unable to bend and twist sideways, frequent leg and back pain, even to the point of having tingling and numbness down to my leg.
