We purchase all flooring through Lisa and spent approximately $40,000. During the 1st year the travertine began cracking in a straight line along the seams of the subfloor they installed. About 30 tiles had cracked. She came to look and did not want to take responsibility but tried to put it on the tile manufacturer. The tile manufacturer sent an independent expert out to examine. The results were a improperly installed floor due to the thickness of the subfloor. Lisa had one of her employess fix our tile. It all cracked again within the next year and stated that she would repair it. She came to repair and stated that her employee did not do what she told him and that is why it cracked again. The work she performed has not cracked and we are satisfied. Another seam that was not repaired has cracked with about 12 tiles and I have called for Lisa approximately 8 times over the past 2 months to try to get her to fix or at least talk about. She will not return any phone calls but had her employee inform me she would fix but I have to pay for it. She admitted to faulty installation, she promised to fix issues but refuses to floow through. My next step will be legal action should she not be willing to honor her obligation.

No missing spots, no drips, no runs, furniture removed and replaced. Mike and his team did quite a bit of work in the bathrooms. All of his jobs have problems: 1 - Floor: He didn't leave any gap (1/4 inch for expansion is standard) from the walls. There was a water leak which I notified him about, he finished the job and didn't check. I found there was still water everywhere after a week... Good thing I decided to redo the floor. 2 - Stairs: I was going to redo the stairs later anyway since the finish wasn't as nice as I hoped. After using it for a day; I almost tripped on the nose trim. It was a loose and I found most of them were loose and poorly finished. 3 - Walls: I was actually okay with this job and he was supposed to prep the wall for painting. After 3 coats of paint, the wall looks ugly due to poor or no prepping... I also paid him to build a fence, he acted like he was confident but he clearly lacked tools and knowledge. It was installed way too high and I told him it wasn't going to pass the permit inspection. He swore up and down this was okay and it failed... Eight short years ago Roach & Ziegler installed a ceramic tile floor in my entry, hallway, kitchen,…read morelaundry room, and powder room. Although my floor is only 8 years old, the tiles were uneven and loose throughout; the grout was not a uniform color, and the grout was severely cracked and in some places chunks of grout loosened and popped out. The installers failed to seal the grout or even clean the grout film off of the tiles. The floor began deteriorating after approximately five years. What kind of company installs a tile floor that has inconsistently colored grout and uneven tiles that were not properly adhered to the subfloor. As a result of the sloppy installation, the grout developed long cracks and holes throughout. One would expect a tile installation to hold up for more than five years. The original floor installers did a poor job at every level. I had to spend a great deal of money to hire a company to fix my floor, which Roach & Ziegler refused to do. I approached Roach & Ziegler several times asking for someone to look at the floor, but I could not even get anyone to return a phone call. The employees from the renovation company said the my floor was the worst installation that they had ever seen. If you want to risk having "the worst installation" possible, go ahead and call Roach & Ziegler.
