I was excited to finally purchase a vinyl fence from Superior Fence & Rail. My salesperson, Frank,…read morewalked me through the process, and I signed the contract with the understanding that my custom-cut fence would arrive in about four weeks and be installed shortly afterward. After waiting six weeks with no communication, I called the office and was told the wrong color fence had been shipped. No one had contacted me to explain the delay. Instead, I was asked if I wanted to keep the incorrect color. After seeing a photo, I declined because it did not match my home. Later, Zach, the manager, mentioned they had to pay to ship it back, making it feel as though I was somehow responsible for their mistake. When installation day finally arrived, I discovered both gates were only 4 feet wide instead of the 5-foot gates I ordered. To make matters worse, the gates were crooked, and one of them would not even open. After speaking with Zach, he agreed to order the correct 5-foot gate at no additional cost, which should never have been a question since it was correcting their error. Once again, I had to wait for the gate to be built and shipped. After hearing nothing, I had to call the office yet again for an update. During that conversation, I expressed my frustration with the repeated mistakes and lack of communication. Zach responded by saying he "needed to draw a line in the sand" because I was making things personal. I explained that I was simply the customer and should not have to repeatedly call to find out the status of a product and service I had already paid for. Today, August 5, 2026, my 5-foot gate was finally installed. I called Zach because he had previously said we would discuss a discount once the project was completed. He returned my call and offered only a 5% discount. When I asked to speak with the owner, he told me, "That's not how it works. I'm the final say." He asked what I thought would be fair, and I said I believed a $2,000 to $3,000 discount would better reflect the months of delays, repeated mistakes, poor communication, and inconvenience. He immediately said there was no way he could approve that because the company would make nothing on the job. The issue has never been about the money alone. It has been about customer service and accountability. Every delay and mistake throughout this process was caused by the company, yet I was the one who had to continually follow up and push for answers. A company can make mistakes, but how they respond is what customers remember. Unfortunately, my experience with Superior Fence & Rail was disappointing from beginning to end, and because of that, I cannot recommend them.

The onsite workers were very professional and they did a fine job (except those two spots on the fence, which I accepted) But, before I accepted the quote, I added 10 feet of fencing to get a bit further out from the original quote. On the day of the installation, the workers remeasured and the back section where the fence was increased by 10 feet was off by 19 feet. Then a section of the house with a step hill required the workers to divert the fence a bit more adding about 7 feet. The other side of the house was off by 2 feet - totaling 28 feet. I was given a change order that included the material cost (which is fine) but also had an extra $250 fee for the change order. This was not a change order - this was meeting the agreed upon layout and I even went as far as preemptively adding 10 feet to the project agreement. I sent an email and called. I spoke with the office, but after getting the run around - I just bit my tongue and hung up. I would not use Superior Fence again and would not recommend them to friends or family. This was just not a good way of doing business. I fed the employees, accepted two mistakes, and I get hit with an extra $250. I learned it doesn't pay to be nice sometimes and Superior Fence will nickel and dime you at the end when everything is done and you have no other recourse.

100% satisfaction NOT guaranteed…read more While the fence looks good the customer service is non-existent. Do not pay in full if there is something you need changed or if there is something that did not get done to your specifications. Once they have the full payment they ignore all calls and emails. We have tried to contact the owners on multiple occasions with limited response. The only time I actually got a response was when I told her I was going to leave an honest review and file a complaint with the BBB. Then, I was assured someone would be in touch to see when we could get the problem corrected. Yet, no one showed. The main fence gate was placed in the wrong spot and is literally on top of the house. Making it a challenge to get in and out the gate without it swinging wide open to the front yard. This obviously causes a problem when trying to not let the dogs out of the fence so in turn we don't even use that gate very much. There's argument on their end on why they put the gate there but at the end of the day we would have never agreed for it to go there or swing outward. It should have been checked with us first and/or corrected right away. Since the original agreement had the gate one section farther down. So here we are again. We were ignored for nearly 1 month after payment, then told someone would be in touch and most recently have been ignored again after I checked in another month later via email and phone calls. Still no response. I understand being busy but I do not understand not calling your consumers back and correcting a problem. It's unacceptable to go days, let alone months. Our fence work was put up in March. I will be following up with Georgia Consumer Protection Unit as well as BBB if concern is not addressed timely. However, given the fact that it has been over 3 months it probably won't be and I should probably just get my forms ready.

I am so glad I did -- they came in at 60% of what the others did, came out the same day to map it out and explain the permit process, and had it installed the next morning. Literally, less than 24 hours from first contact to completed, beautiful fence! The guy who came out to do the estimate was great, professional, and even helped solve a few problems with the property line, forested areas, zoning regs! The installers were just as professional, courteous, and did a great job. Can't believe how great it looks and am so happy that it was half of what the first few companies had me preparing to pay!

I decided to terminate their services which was never performed except reaping the the carpet and my vinyl flooring. I lost $1,000.00 and plus $380.00 from insurance for so-called mitigation. I warned you to be very careful if you called these people watch out, because their mindset is to take your money and no work. It's unfortunate we have these kinda people.

Going on vacation so our home sits for two weeks, changing times/dates/people without informing us, not calling or keeping appointments and our 120 year old home sits for months. We have another contractor come out and he diagnoses the problem immediately (A packed gutter when we had recently paid someone local to clean out the gutters.) that has virtually nothing to do with the roof itself, but the backing up of all that water 'Noah-ing' up OVER a splash barrier (which has faithfully worked all these years) and UNDER the roof. SER was up all over that section (Ya kinda have ta lean yer ladder on that vary preecise lohcal.) Makes one wonder: the leaking was going to keep happening.... What nefarious plans did they have in mind? What excuses were they going to come up with in order to (as a previous said) drag this on and on all the while charging the ins company and jacking up our premium...?
