I hired R Contracting services based on the recommendation of a neighbor whom they did renovations for in the past. My project was to build a roof over my patio. When signing the contract, Renee was unwilling to pull a permit for the contract for the project, even though the roof was an addition to the house. I secured a permit under my name and thank God I did. The framing failed inspection due to no rafter straps, posts not being properly bolted and a post being cut differently than the other two without being properly secured. After they corrected those issues, they attempted to use water-damaged molded wood for the ceiling of the roof. When I told them it was unacceptable, their initial response was that they would "clean it" and put mold-resistant primer on the wood. I held firm because my son has Asthma. They eventually replaced the wood on the ceiling. The final straw was when they were finishing up and I had to notify them that a moved downspout was pointed towards a window. A two-week quoted project, ended up taking four. They were more concerned about getting paid than doing quality work or doing the project right the first time. -I would not recommend them to anyone.

He was supposed to fabricate an existing gutter I had to go around a new electrical meter box so the rain would not damage my newly install electrical meter box I had installed at a commercial property. I laid everything out for him explained what I needed and was trying to accomplish. I even sent pictures detailing what I needed. The first time he supposedly finished he calls me and say I am finished I go over there the downspout is not in the location we discussed and the downspout is hang off the building. Then he calls the 2nd time the job is half ass again the straps on the downspout are not on but the gutter is fabricated correctly so after he puts on the straps. I pay him and he leaves. The next time it rains it's still rains on the box he did not seal the hole in the gutter. I called him 4 times everytime he says that he is coming out to repair which were lies then he says oh I sent someone out there to repair knowing that he is lying. Now his phone is disconnected. We'll Sam you wanted me to write a review well here it is my friend. If I could give him less than 1 star I would.
