However, the final project has not met my expectations for the following reasons: - Delays: There was a 9-week delay before the work actually began. - Material Quality: I noticed a moldy smell on many of the pickets prior to installation. Although I was assured that sun exposure would resolve this, the mold remains. Additionally, there are white specks covering several of the boards. - Installation: Some of the boards are not straight. While I understand ​a small retaining wall made installation difficult, my original fence in that exact same area was straight. Overall, I am not satisfied with the results of this project​, and I would not recommend this company.

Over 1yr later, and we're still only 3/4 of the way done, and 40% over budget. Tom & team have disappeared for weeks on end, with no notice, usually returning to work for a day or two, when he wanted to get paid. Even when the team did show up, it was usually past noon - sometimes as late as 4pm. Over the last year, Tom's equipment has broken down several times, and he got his excavator stuck 8 or 9 times - one time requiring a professional wrecker to come out and extract 3 pieces of heavy equipment he got stuck. On a couple of occasions, to keep the project moving I personally rented equipment. All the more insulting ... the team constantly left tools & trash scattered across the property. I had burger wrappers, bottles, and all sorts of other trash everywhere. Over the last 3 months, Tom has apologized for not taking the job seriously; promised to show up the following week and then completely no shows without giving any indication of why...and he's done this 6 times. I've heard from 2 different people he's sub-contracted with, as well as a couple of people on his team, that getting paid by Tom was an absolute nightmare. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and not surprisingly, it went un answered.
