They allow you to pick a time from a calendar, which was very convenient. Our inspector was on time, nice clean company truck, clean and easy to recognize uniform, and he did a very thorough job. Todd pointed things out to us while onsite, and documented everything with photos and videos. The online system also allows me to create a summary work order, by contractor type, with the comments and photos included. Will definitely use again!

He found out that the electric stove was just for looks because it wasn't even the right stove - there were gas hookups! He was incredibly thorough and crawled everywhere! He was super nice, told us everything, let us walk around with him and ask questions, and got the email to us with his report immediately the next morning. After closing on the house in January and moving in last month, we've come to find many items that he missed on his inspection. The downstairs toilet was loose and not level, leading to wax ring failure which I had to fix. The refrigerator was full of mold(he checked all appliances) which I had to get replaced. He missed the burned outlet behind the fridge. He went up into the attic but missed leaks in the roof which were found by a reputable roofing company during their estimate. I'm disappointed in how much was missed considering how highly rated this company is.

My main concern was sweating vents in loft that was flipped from an attic, and Jayson did infrared imaging and saw that there was less insulation around it, which was having the heat hit all the cold air coming out causing sweating . Encompass provided me an online binder to see all of the notes. Once again, this was a great price with great quality and the electronic binder.

All they were able to do was say "Yep, its wet." Even after hiring them to RE-inspect. Now, 3 months after closing on the house they inspected, I am having leaks & unresolved issues with the roof that they failed to properly inspect. To pay about $700 in inspection & reinspection its very disappointing to be having issues so soon due to their inability to identify problems, problems that were clearly there at the time of their inspection. Will not be recommending this company to anybody wanting thorough inspections.

I recently purchased a home and had Lind's inspect it twice. I was told that everything was good…read moreand there were no issues. After moving in, my natural gas alarm went off. I called the gas company out and they found a flex line going to the hot water heater was not only leaking but not tightly secured to the hot water heater. I had the issue fixed. The alarm went off again, this time finding an issue with the gas pressure valve on the hot water heater to be leaking. Keep in mind, this hot water heater is located in the attic, and nobody has been in the attic since Linds conducted the inspection. When my central air turns on, it pulls the leaking gas into the vent and distributes it throughout the house. Now, I have a hot water heater that has been red tagged by the gas company and no hot water due to this issue. I'm also stuck with hundreds of dollars in repairs.
