The reason for the "cool down period" was because this was one of the most stressful times of my life and I had to separate emotion from reasoning when making my assessment. The truth is, after speaking with others who have gone through the same problems with their cars especially those that have gone to some other tire/alignment shops to get their cars worked on, I found that my experience was normal and even on the less stressful side of the coin because of this particular shop. One thing that separates this TIRE SHOP (BIG L TIRES (DAYTONA BEACH) and their staff from others was the preparation they put in for all of the problems on my 2013 Cadillac Escalade "IF ANY" that came up at the end. They always had a plan B and kept me posted just in case we should go a different route. I must say, they had this thing in LOCKED from every angle. This could have been a much more stressful experience, but they separated themselves from the rest right away. The service representative (Victor), and the service manager (Victor) LOL, / they both had excellent customer service skills and practically called me every time there was another issue with my truck to update me and give me options and the things I needed to know about the work they were doing. They told me they would be available to answer any questions or address any concerns at ANY time, and I tested those hours frequently just to make sure they were on the ball. These guys at BIG L TIRES DAYTONA BEACH never got impatient with me and babied me through the process, despite my lack of understanding most of the time. When I couldn't get the manager on the phone immediately, one of his staff members or even the service manager (Victor) always stepped up and fielded the call to assist me. The Alignment technicians worked incessantly to make sure they met their deadline to get me back on the road and back to Jacksonville. I wanted to review this shop honestly and fairly and not base my assessment on the level of stress during my vehicle out of commission time. The truth is it is supposed to be stressful to an extent. Bottom line----If you want a TIRE OR ALINGMENT SHOP that will go to war for you in order to help you get your vehicle back on the road and that knows how to treat you like an individual and not a prospective paycheck, plus reasonable prices, this is the shop for you. As part of a birthday extravaganza, my boyfriend wanted to rent a Honda Goldwing motorcycle. And Goldwings are completely not available in Jacksonville so we were originally planning a trip to Orlando when we heard Daytona had one available. As a part of the Eaglerider motorcycle rental group, they can bring in various bikes a person may want to rent. We planned a one day rental and the shop was super accommodating allowing us to pick up the bike after they were closed. The rental included helmets and basic insurance to cover the bike. This was my first time being on a motorcycle and after being terrified the first half of the initial ride, I slowly began to enjoy myself. I was much better the second day for our sightseeing trip. I definitely recommend A1A - driving right next to the ocean and smelling the salt in the air is what living in Florida is all about. We returned the bike shortly before closing the following day. We chatted with the owner, Chris, who did the walk around the check the bike. The bike was in great condition and we had no problems. They included two locks and we did use the brake disc lock when we left it in a parking garage because, ya know, no one wants to pay that $1k deductible should someone try to take it. Chris checked us out and they walked us through a bunch of other vehicles available. If you want to rent a t-rex, this is your place. If you want to check that out, other bikes, drool over a Vanderhall, go here. Everyone was super friendly, answered questions, and didn't make fun of my complete ignorance of anything and everything motorsports. I hope they get a passenger backrest for the Spyder so we can rent that next without me worrying about falling off the back!

Since the place has opened there have been so many changes and different staff that I can't remember anyone's name. In the past I use to work/Talk with Joe but he moved on. Anyway, I walked in they had 5 employees some were sitting some walking around so I asked for assistance. I was asked to walk to the Service and Parts Department wheee there was nobody there, I waited and I asked again and the parts rep couldn't be found or bothered. I walked around no one cared. I left and called Scooter West and within minutes they assisted me over the phone. Sad because I tried to stay local but guess sitting around was on their agenda today.

They charged me for installing a new engine and returned motorcycle to me w an oil leak, missing screws (on muffler shield) and now the battery would not take a charge (which was never an issue before). They picked the bike back up a week later, installed or repaired a gasket, repaired the electrical and delivered to me about 6 weeks later. Battery seems to work now but it's still leaking oil. Attempted to call several times immideatley after delivery but no answer. I reported the issues to the manufacturer after which the manufacturer contacted the dealer as a courtesy and the dealer informed the manufacturer they were refusing future warranty- service due to allegations that I used foul language and threatened to take legal action on a voicemail. Total bull. So unfortunately I'm obliged to let the legal folks work it out. All because MottoCity Motoplex Daytona wouldn't take a simple phone call to discuss and try to settle amicably. Buyer beware. Only positive was the parts dept. Ethan has been very helpful and accommodating as possible throughout this belabored repair process. Unfortunately, Ethan doesn't make the decisions for the dealership.

I definitely didn't want to have this work done by the dealership after experiencing lengthy delays and weeks in the shop for the simplest repairs and service. My insurance company Progressive provided me with a quick response and evaluation and left it up to me to find the Body Shop of my choosing. After doing some research and making an appointment with Todd's Auto Body and after meeting Todd and Shelly I knew these guys were definitely the ones for the job. They are also RVer's so they understood I didn't want to leave my RV away from my home any longer than absolutely necessary. They ordered all the parts required to complete the work and met with the insurance adjuster prior to requesting I bring our MotorCoach to their shop for repairs- once everything was in place the work was completed in only a few days which is exactly what I was looking for. The quality of the paint and workmanship was nothing less than outstanding, Shelly is a great communicator and provided me with updates during the entire process starting from our first introduction and Todd is such a professional and master craftsman, the entire process exceeded my expectations and I'm so lucky I found them.
