After writing multiple emails to request my refund almost a month ago, she has not replied. I…read morereached out to multiple of her emails and she still will not respond. I sent one last email 2 days ago and she continues to IGNORE. Therefore, I am taking this onto the small claims court. Like the other victims of her, this is hours of time wasted on her but I am not just letting her get away with $1200 and continue to have others become victims. BE AWARE OF THIS BUSINESS AND THE OWNER. UPDATE: Owner responded under this comment claiming that she does not offer refunds and that it was stated in her studio policy. For us THERE WAS NO STUDIO POLICY SHOWN AND WE DID NOT SIGN ANYTHING. We were also not gone for a month, she did not notify us of her absence so we waited outside over 10 minutes for class and then emailed her to ask why she didn't show up. The week after was the holidays so my girls had winter break for two weeks. However, I told her exactly when we will resume in which she did not disagree with and then when we showed up on 1/6, she doubled booked. I will not be backing up on this because she promised a refund.

As multiple victims reached out to me asking if I got refund from Pure Pilates yet. Plus getting…read moreharrased by the Pilates Owner Jacqueline, I decided to write an update. CLASS get last min CANCELLED WITHOUT NOTICE 4 TIMES in a roll. After 10 months of effort, complaining to Local police, Langham hotel and Better Business Bureau, Apple Pay......nothing works. I still have got my money back. it's $840 plus hours wasted on this matter. I think Yelp may be the only Chanel to help others to avoid what we went thru. Jacqueline kept asking me to remove this review in exchange she will refund me. She also send harassing messages calling me crazy A$$, insane, "how can you getting married". Very toxic process throughout this 10 months. I guess she was able to get other bad review removed this way. I was temped before but now I rather just leave the review here to prevent more victims. please see below pics for her harassing messages. Last, if you guys still want to try this place out, please DO NOT PAY by Cash, Apple Pay, Venmo or Zelle. They won't refund you the charge even if you dont get the service. Use Credit Card or thru mind body app if you must. Jacqueline will tell you the app doesn't work and mess up her class which is not true. Good Luck yelpers.

I also like to run and the classes are the perfect strength training regimen to support my running. I've noticed some other yelp reviewers complain about the lack of friendliness in the studio and I can understand that. It's not Soul Cycle and you're not going to get a sermon with your workout. I do feel that the front desk staff is always warm. When I was able to go more consistently and pick my classes, the instructor knew my name. My schedule doesn't allow for me to take the same classes and see the same instructors anymore; I go when I can. The workout really can't be beat and the social aspect of the studio isn't that important to me so I don't mind letting that go. I would like to note that the co-owner, Alex, couldn't be nicer. He helped jump start my car after I left my lights on during class. Always smiling, always friendly.

I've been to Los Feliz when I lived in LA and moved to Pasadena when I moved out of LA. My sister and I collectively referred over 10 people to morph whom purchased beginners class, then beginners 10 pack, and some even 15 class packs. We wondered about referrals and no one got back to us. I don't even want a free class but maybe a pair of socks to show their appreciation for all the business we brought to them. We got nothing, not even a verbal appreciation. I've gotten my friends to mostly fill an entire class a few times too. To me, seems like morph doesn't care about their "morphletes" as much as they portray and they only care about the money. Parking: THE PARKING SUCKS. There's only a few spots and the rest is paid parking. I'm already paying $20 per class, I don't want to pay for parking. You have to go at least 15 minutes early to wait in the parking lot for the previous class to come in for lot parking. Classes: the classes are a breeze, they're so easy compared to other studios. I started going to a different studio while having morph credits still and I'd go to morph when I want an easy workout. The flow of the class is different than other lagree studios, exercises have different names too. Some instructors don't even have holds/pauses in the routine. The classes are just not challenging enough. WHY IS THERE NO APP TO BOOK CLASSES? I feel like at this point, an app is bare minimum. Their latest class is 6pm which is hard to make for a corporate employee to attend. The studio I currently attend has 7pm and 8pm classes. Community: As much as they portray a community, there is no sense of community at morph. I've only been going to this new studio for a year and I feel so welcomed and appreciated. At my other studio, I've gotten acknowledgment for my birthday, 50 classes, 100 classes, invitation to join a free class for content, and owners are much more personable. You can tell who is in it for the money and who is actually passionate about lagree. Also, morph trainers spray down the machine as soon as class is over, giving you NO time to stretch because they be waiting by your machine with a towel as soon as class is over. Just feels like they're trying to rush people out asap. Other studios use wipes, giving people time to chill out and stretch after a challenging workout. Overall, There are A LOT of better lagree studios out there, in all the ways. A lot of studios have holiday discounts/founders deals much better than what morph offers. Take it from me who was a huge morph fan who ended up finding a sense of belonging at another studio. Forgot to mention that I been weight lifting for 3 years and the only 2 times I got severely injured to the point of bed rest was at this studio.

There are a total of seven reformers, signing up for class is super easy and straight forward on their website. There are several different class packs you can buy if you don't want to commit to a membership. I parked at the Schoolhouse parking garage on Green St. $1 for up to two hours and it was only about a three minute walk to the studio. Quick, safe and convenient. I had Sheri as my instructor. Even though it was an intro class, we had a mixture of people with all different levels. Sheri was awesome to give different options to those who are more advanced or simply those who would like a challenge. If you're thinking of taking your first reformers class, don't be intimated because your instructor will go over each functionality/part of the machine. One of the things I look out for when determining how much I'll enjoy the class is whether or not an instructor will be hands-on in correcting your form. Like yes, please correct me so I will know what's the correct way moving forward. So thank you Sheri for being hands-on. I was back home for the holiday season and I'm glad Yelp helped me discover this studio.

This is a lovely, quaint Pilates studio for all skill levels, the instructors are very kind and knowledgeable. Since the classes, I've noticed a much leaner physique, muscles in my legs and core, more energy. The classes are so fun and every instructor brings different styles, there are English, mandarin, Korean speaking instructors. If you're looking for a great workout in a pretty setting, this place is highly recommended

While I unfortunately don't think I can come back here any time soon (each class they have is 15+ credits), I enjoyed my class with Hanna so much that I wanted to write her a good review. When I walked in, someone at the front desk checked me in right away and she had a warm personality! Very inviting. She shared with me that we leave our shoes by the door, then we walk down the hallway to our class. I noticed that the floor was a little dusty as we walked past the other rooms for aerial yoga and for private classes. The Pilates class room itself is clean and designed well. There was plenty of space between one reformer and the next. Hanna explained all the instructions clearly and she had good pacing. She made sure that our form was correct throughout. It was nice that there were only three of us during my class so it felt like we were getting more attention. I also appreciated how encouraging she was and the music selection on the background made the entire time pass by like a breeze. My feedback would be about the reformer machines themselves. The reformer machines felt a little cheap just because the ropes would make this sound while we would be pushing to get resistance that I haven't heard from other Pilates studio machines. I saw some fraying on my ropes specifically. The platform also felt more narrow than the average. I was still able to do the exercises but as a 5'3 girly, I felt like I had the longest legs in the world. Overall, I'm glad that there is another Pilates studio near me that has dedicated parking and talented instructors. I hope they consider checking the machines every now and then for wear and tear but other than that, I had a wonderful time!
