The sprayer hose was hung over a chair on the side patio and he jerked the hose so hard it pulled the chair into the mulched area. Power washed over the front door mat. Left residue from the power washing all over the windows and walls and did not hose off. He told me he was surprised I was married because he didn't know how anyone lives with me, that I must be a Democrat. He said he couldn't work with someone like me and left after two hours before finishing the job. He said I didn't have to pay him. He said "Merry Christmas". I did not pay him. He also left a huge mess in the street so in order to get in our driveway we would have to drive through all the debris and have muddy tire tracks on our driveway and in the garage. I just spent an hour cleaning up that mess myself. We told him we did not want the decorative rocks power washed. He did them anyway and came to the door to show me. I said we did not want them done. I told him to just do the job we hired him to do. He did the rocks before he even started on the patio and driveway. I don't think it is too much to expect that the debris from the washing be hosed down. Very rude individual.

With Rick, I got a very fair bid and he went above and beyond the scope. He even took care of a few minor surprises using his own materials. Another plus about Rick is that he gives FREE estimates. Lot's of "handymen" told me there was a charge for bids. Some were $50.00. One even said I'd be charged for gas too. While people are severely gouging things, Rick remains honest. Scheduling was a breeze and the team that showed up to perform the work was professional and very courteous. They were extra careful not to ruin any flowers or get any paint where it didn't belong.
