When I first contacted Raley's, they said that they were booked six months out. But then he asked a few more questions and determined that the work I needed done would be a quick job for him to complete. We set a time for an estimate which was in the evening so I did not have to take time off from work. This is a small business and is located at the owner's property between Sumner and Orting. I was happy to give my business to a locally owned small business. The wife and husband operate the business together. Heather was very good at communicating with me and scheduling was flexible. They allowed me to drop my truck off in the evening on a Sunday so again, I did not have to take time off from work. I really appreciate that flexibility. The estimate was very good and he was also able to install a bumper that my husband bought and wasn't able to install. I was extremely happy with the price and the quality of work. The entire process was stress free and I was so happy to get this problem taken care of. I highly recommend Raley's for quality of work, the price, the communication, the flexibility and the fact that supporting their business is supporting a local family business. When I came to pick up my car after him having it for almost 2 weeks, he told me I have to pump the clutch twice to shift it. He didn't fixed my car after paying $1,374 CASH because it was the same as it was before he touched it. I myself figured out it was the clutch pedal assembly that was cracked and it just needed to be welded. So now it's fixed except I kept hearing a pop sound in front end so I jacked up the wheel and literally shook my whole wheel. Here are my two standout experiences... A while back my car said it was overheating. I stopped by a Grease Monkey and they said I needed a new part that they would have to order and gave me a deadline. I was very suspicious of this . I then went to Burien Truck Repair and they told me they would look and charge me a diagnostic fee. In the end, they didn't need a new part, it just needed to be cleaned. They did that, lumped the diagnostic fee into the repair since they actually did it and saved me $200-300. They also gave me a ride to work while I waited! Next! Biggie! Things have been rough and my plate was stacked. I was pulling into the dentist last week and I suddenly heard the most horrendous noise. I was expecting to see a pipe dragging. Very flustered, I went in and the hygienist said she heard it too. I called BTR and Christy had me hold my phone out and drive back and forth a bit. She said that sounded terrible and, while they were about to close, rush over. I pulled in, getting many WTF looks. Christy ran over with another guy saying she heard it from the back. They immediately looked at it and said it wasn't safe to drive home and said they'd be on it first thing...and AGAIN gave me a ride! I got a call around 9 and...it was a rock. I drove over a rock and it wedged itself up behind my tire. The charge? $0! Wholly moly! So basically they are the best, not just in customer service and car repair, but hi just all around standout people. I can not express this enough.
